For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit.

(NEARLY. With a little imagination (or actually, a lot), a window seat, in view of the mature tree outside, Lisa's achieves realizes its full charm.) The interior is an understated, tasteful, comfortable, semi-hippie blend of artwork and plants. Last visit, I enjoyed perfect fried eggplant, and one of the very best Margherita pizzas (here, the "Margaret") that I've ever had. Real, fresh mozzarella; real, fresh basil; and, maybe most important, actual slices of red, fresh tomatoes (not just cheating with a mere tomato sauce, as some places do). This time, I started with a real bargain of a tossed green salad. It had so many ingredients (by my rough count, around a dozen) that I couldn't even identify some. A heaping, colorful, healthful and appealing salad that puts to shame the side salads that most other restaurants merely "phone in". (The balsamic vinaigrette is strong, so I'm glad that I stuck to my rule of ordering it on the side, so that I could control the amount used.) Pizza: Pepperoni and mushroom, with FRESH mushrooms, correctly sliced (large, flat slices taken top to bottom) to maximize their flavor. A satisfyingly thin and crispy cracker crust. Nice sauce. (My only disappointment -- a slight one -- was finding the taste of the crust rather bland. But on the other hand, even though I've had more than one flavorful crust elsewhere, I assume that it's easier to pack a thicker, more doughy crust with flavor than it is with a cracker crust.) In addition, it contained only seven penny-sized pieces of sausage and about six slices of mushroom. I have spoken with both the owner and Hannah multiple times about pizzas and salads with missing ingredients, yet nothing changes. It is extremely disappointing and frustrating to have to drive back to the restaurant to address issues that should have been caught before the food was served. The owner appears unwilling to hire an experienced manager to oversee quality control, and the result is a product that is consistently falling short of low expectations. What makes this especially sad is that the previous owner and his wife spent decades building this business by taking pride in the food they served and ensuring customers received a quality product. Unfortunately, that commitment to quality no longer seems to exist.

Greasy foods leave me coughing w lot for an hour or so after eating, but this pizza feels lighter and doesn't upset my stomach. As for the price, I think it's cheap for how good it is. They have plenty of deals for cheap two topping pizzas, but getting a medium with four toppings and garlic crust and using a coupon code was ten dollars and it was way more filling than any large cheap pizzas I've had from other places. The staff at this location are great too. Super friendly, funny, and I love that they always show you the pizza before handing it off. As someone who doesn't eat meat I really appreciate not having to find out when I'm home that there's meat accidentally on my pizza! They also have punch cards and you get two punches on Tuesday and you get punches for even small pizzas. It's a great deal. If you haven't tried it I urge you to. You'll be hooked! My only complaint is I wish there was one closer to Bay View so I could be lazy and order delivery!

We typically order a four or eight corner deep dish. Most recently, we got an 8 corner with feta, kalamata olives, mushrooms, and onion. It was great. We also typically order their greek salad. Their medium salad is plenty for two people (probably even three). A big salad and a piece of pizza? What's not to love? The service is always quick. It's a take out shop so no dining inside, just order ahead and you can grab your pizze and go. Get to it.

We had a large order, as we were feeding 16 people, and the staff member who took the order over the phone was very patient and attentive, answering any questions I had quickly and allowing several substitutions/alterations to occur. The guy who delivered it a few days later to us at work was super helpful--instead of just handing the order to us at the door and scramming, he took time to carry all of the food and drinks inside and helped us set it up around a large table. He made sure we had everything we needed before he left, and he left a warming bag with us to keep some of the smaller food in before we busted into the boxes (we returned it later, and there wasn't a certain time by when we had to get it back, which was nice). The food itself was pretty good--the pizzas were a little greasy, and the cheese bread a little overcooked, but otherwise it was excellent food. We got orders of cheese curds, garlic bread, cheese bread, pizzas, sandwiches, and a salad, and all of the food was fresh and/or hot, with nothing seeming like it had been cooked far in advance and then left under a heat lamp until the order was ran over to us. I personally ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and it was excellent--the chicken tenders in the sandwich were crispy and warm, the marinara sauce not too sweet, and the cheese perfectly melted.
