I recently decided to try this Rosati's location. I placed an order online for the Supreme thin crust. My order was ready before the estimated time. The pizza looked good visually on first appearance. However, I found the middle of the pizza to be very greasy. The slices on the outside that had crust were good for the most part. But the middle was very greasy and the cheese just slid off. It was where you have to hold the pizza together to not make a big mess. I did sign up for the Rosario awards, which I believe gives an award for a free pizza. A few coupons were also included with my order noting a first time customer. I may try something different next time with one of the awards/coupons, but my first experience was OK. I don't anticipate becoming a regular and the pizza is a bit on the pricier side. Love their Margherita thin crust! Order it well done, and the crust is even crispier. I love being able to order different kinds of crust thickness, and they both are great. Their app makes it even easier to order and get points for discounts on future orders. Since it's only a takeout spot, the food and service is all that matters, and both of which have been top notch every time we order. If you're craving a traditional pizza, Rosati's is one to try. I SO wish more pizza places would offer vegan cheese. Trust me, those who choose to stick to a vegan diet understand that it isn't the same as real cheese, but those with dietary restrictions have to pass you by if you can't add it to your choices. Service was fast & reliable. I called my order in for pickup & it was ready as promised. I'm not sure what has happened in this restaurant but the pizza has changed. I moved away from Kansas City for 8 years and it's changed It's just not as good as it once was. I tried the College location a couple of months ago and it was bad. Then, recently I learned about a second location off of 151st street and ordered there hoping this location would be better but it just wasn't. My opening day takeout lunch experience at this Chicago-style pizza restaurant (which offers only takeout or catering) was good overall, with room for improvement. The order and payment service at the counter was accommodative but pretty slow due to training in progress and a cumbersome order entry system. However, once my order was entered, the kitchen prepared it quickly, with everything nicely packaged for transport. The 9" x 9" pepperoni pizza slice ($4.00) and Italian table side salad ($5.74) were tasty, nicely sized and moderately priced. The pizza slice had plenty of cheese and toppings on a tasty, chewy crust, while the salad was nicely chilled, with fresh veggies and plenty of my choice of dressing on the side. Unfortunately, I was charged more for the salad than the $4.99 price shown online - not cool. Also, I was disappointed to find this location offered only three pizza by the slice options (cheese, sausage and pepperoni). The location on College has more options. I'm thinking 3.5 stars overall and rounding up, since the pizza tasted great, and I expect they will iron out the opening day glitches. read more

First time - probably the last (unless someone else buys). I wanted our go-to, Pizza Hut. But lately, they can't get the sauce right. ROSATI'S is nearby and got good reviews from our son. Here's the thing: this one large, regular crust with 3 topping pizza was over $30! It was ok, but Pizza Hut for $12 is way better. I really like this franchise pizza place! I've always had a wonderful experience with all my carry out orders! It is not too difficult to order online and there is even a tracker for you to keep track of when your food is ready for pickup. I've only ordered their sausage supreme double dough pizza and it's fantastic. I was surprised the first time I had pizza from here how good it was! They cut my pizza into squares which I really like cause the middle pieces are super cheesy. After the first order I placed, I kept getting emails about their promos like $4 off, 50% off your order, 20% off, free 2 liters, etc. That's useful if you're okay with their promo emails because they have some really good deals. I've only used one and it worked. I have ordered their pasta and cinnamon sticks. I would not get the cinnamon sticks again lol they were dry. The pasta is okay, it's basic but for those that are really craving just marinara sauce with pasta then it could hit the spot. The workers have always been friendly and really happy whenever I pick up my carry out orders. For some reason, it makes you feel happy too. We have been ordering from Rosati's on College since we moved to Kansas. It is truly the best pizza we have had in Kansas. My husband recently received a gift card for Rosati's, and we were so excited. We soon found out it was for the location on 151st. They wouldn't honor it at the college location. We decided to visit this location, and they were super nice. We did learn they do not have an 18 inch pizza but a 16 inch pizza for their large pizza. It is still very good pizza and great service as well. This did not disappoint, and they also honored the coupon for buying a large and getting a free 12 inch cheese pizza. read more

Have been hearing everyone talking about this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered a deep down and a thin crust just to experience both. Arrived to pickup and there was a line of people inside so I knew I made the right decision to try. Got home and man did I make the right decision. The thin crust was the perfect thinned with just the right amount of crunch. And it did not bend. The deep dish was the best I have ever had. Wow! A thick bottom layer of cheese followed by my favorite toppings green pepper, onion and Italian sausage, then a nice lay of sauce with large tomato chunks. I call these people and spend 5 minutes making sure I am ordering from the right location because I am on my way to an event (in rush traffic) and I don't have time for mistakes. She says she is at Antioch and 69. So I go to the one at Antioch and 69. No pizza order. It's at the other one at Antioch and 69. I don't have time to make that trip and I tell her that. And then I get a message from some guy named Zach who says I made an order I didn't pick up and I'm banned. No call to make it right and no acceptance for the situation. Just a BS threat. These people are morons. They know both of their restaurants are on Antioch and 69 at different parts of town... I don't. So I'm banned now. Haha. No you idiots are banned for life. Our first time ordering Rosatis, 151 st street. We downloaded the App. Was told on the App, order #52 would be ready at 5:25. I arrived at the counter exactly at 5:25 and was told by employee my pizza was still cooking. Finally received it at 5:45. Which isn't too bad, waiting an extra 20 mins. However wife told me the App showed Pizza was picked up at 5:25. What's that all about? Pizza quality was just ok as it was pretty greasy. Have to say for the fifth consecutive time, the pizza has not been ready when expected. Every time they say "45 minutes", it's usually an additional 30 minutes of me waiting at the restaurant while other customers that come in after me leave before me. I just tried Rosati's for the first time on New Years Eve. I got the double crust thin with Italian sausage, green peppers and onions. Really expensive but absolutely delicious. My pizza was ready just a couple of minutes after I arrived and it was hot and delicious. sometimes to get a good quality pizza you have to pay a premium. I'll be making ordering from here at least a couple of times a month a priority moving forwar. The store was clean and staff friendl. read more

Tried this location on August 14. Ordering was easy and we were given a time of 5:40 to 5:45 for pickup. The order was ready at 5:43! We had lasagna which was to serve 2. For us this was perfect and definitely met the promise. The lasagna was very good. We also got garlic bread and cinnamon stick dessert. Both of these were really good also. First off: Pizza is subjective. Everyone has their favorite type, toppings and brand. Counting grocery stores, big box stores, convenience stores and other pizza shops there are at least 15 different places selling pizza from a 1-2 mile radius of Rosati's. So the question is: can this area support another pizza shop? Personally I like Sam's Club Pizza but like to change up occasionally. Anyway, I feel an obligation to try a new restaurant in the area since I have never tried them. I tried Rosati's Pizza a few days ago. Here is my take: Not designed for "Dine In" only carry out. I was surprised to find no menu posted on the wall. The pizza tasted a little "stale" for my taste. It seemed to be a premade pizza and then toppings thrown on and then run through the oven to bake it all together. I'm not saying this is fact, but the pizza tasted like it. Other pizza shops have a glass window so that you can see them making the pizza. Rosati's has no window. Heck, I would have been happy to have a camera with a television monitor so I could see my pizza being made. Too many wrong things go on in the "hidden" back room. I prefer to see my pizza being made. My pizza with three toppings cost $24 after a discount of 20%. That's too much. I would have done better purchasing three or four of their Jumbo slices and drinks for $5 each. It was my intention to actually purchase the special, but when I saw all the pizza slices in a display together and I (being a vegetarian) all the pizza slices were all together touching: meat, pepperoni, sausage, etc. I decided to purchase a separate pizza away from the meat pizzas. Their special is a great deal. I don't think they can survive on selling only these Specials, but I would certainly grab one while available. I also found it odd that out of the numerous people that came in for the $5 special, I didn't see tax being charged. People just gave him a $5 bill and grabbed their food. When a business does that, it's an automatic "red flag". Also, Is this a jinx location? Nothing has made it in this location for a very long time. Either way, good luck. read more

Just as with anything pizza-related, this is purely based on personal preference and initial observation. With that caveat, I'll simply state that the food was not very good. First, the fried ravioli. There was no description on the menu, so I simply assumed they were filled with meat (similar to Imo's toasted ravioli), or with cheese. It was filled with I believe ricotta. The type of cheese wasn't so much the issue, but rather the texture. It came out with kind of a mealy texture that was off-putting. Next is the pizza. My family and I ordered a thin crust and a deep dish pepperoni with some veggies. For the deep dish, perhaps it was our mistake with getting something with so many vegetables because it made the inside of the pie kind of watery and soupy. But my overall dislike for what we ordered applies to both the thin crust and the deep dish. Bottom line: the crust is simply too dense. The density of the crust on both pizzas, although adding to the structural integrity, made the meal wholly unappetizing. It is possible to have a crust that feels both substantive and light (ask fans of Lou Malnati's), but Rosati's misses the mark. We wanted to give this place a shot, but with so many other pizza places in the near vicinity, it's unlikely we'll go back. read more

We found out about this new location last week. We have grown tired of the other location because it has gone downhill. But since we're from Chicago and love Chicago style food we were excited to learn about this place. However it underperformed. The serving size is ridiculously small. We ordered a beef. It wasn't fully loaded and had to be maybe 5-6in for $9 (no fries) whereas the other location charges $12 with fries but its much more loaded and is maybe 8ins.
