We ordered carry-out! We got the chicken Alfredo and 39th street pizzas. Chicken Alfredo was pretty good but way too strong of a bacon flavor for my liking. I missed the Alfredo part because of this. The 39th street pizza was amazing! The crust is so thick and delicious that I found myself getting excited to get through the pizza part of it to get to it! 4 stars because of the Alfredo pizza and it's very pricey for the size. Still thinking about their wings, pizza and dessert pizza. Tried this Midtown/39th street spot for the first time and I was not disappointed! First of all, Mike was so nice and educated me on what to order and the history of the spot. Joe himself, came out to say hi too! Their crust is where it's at and as a sauce dipper, I was excited! As soon as we entered we were greeted and given a seat we ordered cheese breadstick Which was very different than other places it was piping hot and melts in the out one of the best things to get and then we ordered pizza. It took a little bit for the pizza to be done maybe around 15 minutes but the pizza was really delicious. They enjoyed every bit of it and completed that, there are a lot of selections for pizza. The dining area only holds so many people, but there is an outside patio if the temps are OK for you. I like the decor of the earlier rock n roll era on the walls inside.
