Got the bacon mac n cheese pizza for delivery and it was delicious!!!! Super tasty and exactly what I was wanting. They have fun and different pizzas, so I will have to try some more another time. Would recommend!

Been awhile but still love this place! To go Gluten free pizza, glass of wine and a margarita while we wait which wasn't long.

Great lunch spot! Our waitress was super awesome! She made some recommendations, we took them and had a great meal! The pizza was fantastic. The crust is great, the sauce on point and the cheese bread as an appetizer was perfect.

Went to Artego with my brother, sister in law & her mom today and it was great! Cute restaurant. The decor was fun. Our server was very nice and helped us with recommendations. And the pizza was delicious. We got the Philly and the Hawaiian.

If you're craving delicious pizza and some of the BEST wings in KC -- Artego Pizza is a must-try! We had the 39th Street pizza, Philly Cheesesteak, and BBQ Chicken pizzas -- all packed with flavor. The wings were seriously next level -- crispy, saucy, and so good! Don't skip the dessert pizza -- it was the perfect sweet finish. The ambiance is super cool with creative art covering the walls, and the service was friendly and fast. Great food, great vibes -- highly recommend!

I have seen this place all over tiktok so I had to go check it out and it lived up to its hype! The bruschetta pizza is now my FAVORITE pizza in Kansas City!!! That says a lot considering there are so many places in the KC area for pizza. The honey bbq wings were amazing as well! Our server was amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better server for our first time visit!!! Beautiful place, 10/10!!

Amazing pizza. Love the fluffy crust. Wings are oven baked and a must try. Service was top notch. The space is gorgeous and inviting. Ask about the awesome wall art! Offering dine in, carry out & delivery!

Ordered Artego Pizza on Uber Eats to my hotel in Westport. Got the Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese Pizza with jalapeños. It was about 30 bucks for a large. Tasted good, but I definitely should have gotten a smaller one. I only ate two slices. She barely made it through two too. Way too much, but solid flavor.

Still thinking about their wings, pizza and dessert pizza. Tried this Midtown/39th street spot for the first time and I was not disappointed! First of all, Mike was so nice and educated me on what to order and the history of the spot. Joe himself, came out to say hi too! Their crust is where it's at and as a sauce dipper, I was excited! We did start out with their wings (best wing in KC, they say). They are baked and ran through twice & sauced twice! Wow!!! And their ranch and blue cheese are made in house. We also tried the Artego Spice and Pesto Pollo and again, so good! And to end the night, save room for their famous sopapilla pizza. This KC spot is a must-see and a must-eat!!

Deadass so delicious I might travel all the way down here just to eat it again. I mean that. It's right next to my Hilton so I just got it delivered there so I have no idea what it looks like unfortunately. But I mean it. This bruschetta pizza is to actually die for. The other flavors bring this rate to a 9.43/10 but the bruschetta pizza is actually a 10/10 on the Anna scale. A first from me.

top 3 KC restaurants-- we recommend to everyone we know!! Mike is great, the pizza hits every time, and the house ranch is phenomenal. sometimes the music can be a little loud but the vibe is great, 10/10

Was my first time coming in- i'm visiting in town and absolutely great things to say about this place. My server Mike, was attentive, kind and took care of my group entirely. We met the owner and he was an absolute gem! The drinks were great, Wings 10/10. Highly recommend!

Came to Kansas City over the recent holidays to visit some friends, and Beer Kitchen came as a…read morelocal recommended place. Good food, good vibes, good beer selection, I was sold. So we loaded up and showed up one day around Noon. Ambiance was really cool. It's in the middle of some sort of progressive looking shanty-esque suburb. The kind of place that does drag queen bingo. I was right at home. Inside was college sport bar, but with a nice, huge board on the wall of all their beer selection. It Was quite expansive. Service was top notch, too. Nice server took care of us, made sure our glasses were never empty. The food came out at a good clips, and we got an unexpected bonus of free little beignet-like donuts with some delicious dipping sauces. As for food, we started off with a jumbo order of the Truffle Parmesan Hand-Cut Fries for the table. We got to choose two from their extensive list of aioli dipping sauces. Fries were good. Dusted with the perfect amounts of truffle and parmesan. And the sauces were my oh my. I recommend paying the upcharge to just try them all. I mentioned the time earlier, because we had no idea we were stumbling upon their brunch menu. Even more options to choose from! I got the Crispy Waffle Smash Burger (smashed hertzog beef patties, fried egg, smoked bacon, merkt's cheddar, caramelized onion, maple aioli, crispy buttermilk waffle). This thing was really nice. Perfect waffle, not too small, not too big, and no oily or anything obtrusive. A nice bun option. Eggs and bacon sometime get lost against giant burger patties, but with these smash patties, the extra accoutrements really stand out and make this burger really stand out in my mind. I also for the try the Smokestack Burger (smoked burnt ends, smoked gouda, whiskey bbq glaze, pickle relish, chipotle aioli & crispy jalapeño straws). Uhhh, as you can read, this thing was loaded with goodness. Fatty burger, smokey burnt ends, sweet boozy glaze, acidic pickles, and texture from that jalapeno. This was the perfect burger. I insist you order this. Overall, my research did not reveal Beer Kitchen to me, locals recommendation did. Shows that you gotta use your street smarts instead of your book smarts sometimes. Best meal I had in Kansas City.

The restaurant was…read morepretty busy when we arrived, so we chose to sit at the bar rather than wait for a table near the entrance. We started with the Mini Cheddar Biscuits to share, which come with four biscuits. They were excellent--fluffy on the inside with a slightly crispy exterior. The cheddar flavor hit first, followed by a touch of sweetness from the honey, and the combination worked really well. For my meal, I ordered the Fried Chicken, substituted the mashed potatoes for mac and cheese, and added a side of collard greens. The fried chicken was absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and fried. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and cheesy with a nice crunch from the breadcrumb topping. The collard greens were some of the best I've ever had. They had a great smoky flavor and were well-seasoned without being overly salty. The only downside to the experience was the service toward the end of our meal. We sat for around 15 minutes waiting for the bartender to come by so we could get drink refills and the check. We eventually had to wave them down, even though they were working right in front of us. Overall, the food was outstanding and easily made up for the minor service issue. I'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

We parked a block south on 51st Street and walked into the restaurant at 540pm on a Thursday. I ordered half the happy hour menu and my friend ordered a bottle of Moscato and the Ribeye. He smiled and said half price wine! Our server was attentive, but he ordered the food all together instead of coursing it out. I should have asked for half of mine to come out early as we were sharing. The tacos were ok, good flavor, but basic presentation. The Fries were delicious, the Brussels and Cauliflower were awesome. The Hawaiian Ribeye was also good, cooked perfectly, good flavor, but the chilled cucumber salad on a warm plate was an interesting choice... We were off to a show, so we didn't have time for dessert.

The photos looked amazing, and this place has solid reviews so I was walking in with a certain expectation. What was remarkable is how it was even better than I thought it would be. Let's start with the ambiance. The actual cafe is very small but charming. If it's cold or rainy outside you might need to skip Le Champion unless it's not busy as I think only a few folks can really fit inside. The inside is well designed though, and feels charming without being overwhelming. What stole the show for me though was the patio. As someone who studied abroad in France it felt so French to me in the best way. To me, it feels like taking a Parisian cafe and mixing it with a hip KC bar - it doesn't feel necessarily exactly like one or the other, but it compliments both and feels uniquely it's own in the best way possible. On the day I visited it was absolutely gorgeous outside and I had one of the best breakfast burritos of my life, mostly due to their chimichurri sauce. I also pretty much add a star for any place that keeps espresso tonic on the menu. Overall I love Le Champion and can't wait to return.

There are also a few other bars and restaurants close by and I often forget about that area as being a destination so, I'll have to go out there more often. It has a nice laid back feel. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the bar area is spacious, it wasn't crowded so I had plenty of space to sit solo for a late lunch. The menu isn't the most inventive, just good old fashioned bar food. However, to me that really hits the spot a lot of the time, I don't need all the frills all the time. They had a good selection of appetizers as well as sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and daily specials. I was craving a BLT. Usually the Peanut is my go-to but I must say Tower Tavern may now take top spot. Especially for the price...$10?! Yes please. Also, I am a sucker for homemade potato chips so I loved to see that as the side option. The bacon was crispy not flabby and sad, it had the perfect salty bite. The shredded cheese made me so happy because it was generously piled on the texture is just nostalgic to me. The tomato was overpowering, sometimes a soggy thick slice of tomato can ruin a BLT for me. I will definitely be back to Tower Tavern to use my Pub Pass and to try some more food. If you're looking for a very solid bar with very solid bar food I would say give it a try! The prices are right, the beer was flowing, and the food was tasty and executed right.
