Minskys is one of my KC area go-tos. Specializing in pizza, however they have much more on their menu. Service is usually good, I have never had a problem. Restaurant is clean and well kept.

This is a favorite spot for our family each time we visit Kansas City. There are loads of pizza options the ambience is super cool just casual Kansas City vibe. We've eaten at this location once as well as order a pizza to take back to our hotel, which is perfect for our tired, hungry soccer players. They are able to accommodate gluten-free needs, which is helpful for my celiac body although I do enjoy their salad!

Food- plentiful portions of appetizers, and always good pizza (IMHO best in KC) Service. - pretty good even when slamm0 ed, all tables full, and a take out line of like 5 - 10 people. Ambiance - pizza joint not much more.... KC joe's pizza is back for a limited time as of 10/30/23. Their other year round pizza's are solid too Wings are good (giant, regular, boneless) and big portions. Nice Gluten Free/Cauliflower Crust options. A whole non-wheat Gluten Free menu as well. Peppercorn Ranch made in house is great with their big salads too.

Margherita pizza is only cheese and tomato slices. They actually made this and sent it out. $30

Had a cordon bleu chicken pizza and Margherita pizza delivered. Cordon bleu chicken was delicious but was absolutely shocked with their new recipe margherita pizza. I can't believe someone made this pizza like this and thought to themselves, "Hmmm, perfect!" Boxed it up, and sent it out. So insulting.

Overland Park, KS Yuck! The only reason why I gave this two stars is because the waitress was so incredibly nice. I wasn't even going to Yelp this place. But then after I ate my pizza, I decided it was necessary to save others. The place is small but deep. If you walk into the restaurant the seating goes far back. The staff is very busy taking care of to-go orders. We dined in. Ordered one large pizza, half Marghetita, half Canadian bacon and hamburger. The Margherita pizza comes with sliced fresh tomato, basil, garlic, mozzarella, and ricotta. There wasn't any ricotta cheese on my pizza. The pizza dough tasted like a homemade pizza with cheap products. I don't see why this place is so popular. I got one slice of tomato on each piece of pizza. The tomato on my pizza was one small tomato, that was the size of a 50 cent piece. Not only was the tomato small and sparse, it wasn't even ripe. The beer menu is weak. Would suggest a wider variety of draft beer choices. You either had a hoppy light beer, a hoppy, hoppy light beer, or just a light beer. Nothing dark, nothing medium. The young guys working tonight seem to be busy with a lot of chatting and unnecessary behavior. I really don't care to hear how much their tip was from a certain table or how a customer behaved at their table. I certainly don't want to see them goofing around and acting the way they did. If it wasn't for the kindness of the waitress, I would have given this place one star. Her name is Trinity. If you ever do decide to come here, please ask for her. She's the only thing that made the meal worth dining. I don't know how this place does so well. I will not be coming back.

I had the vodka rigatoni with an Italian sausage, and my husband had the manicotti. I don't have words suffice enough to share the taste and how filling this was. I believe the wonderful surprise was the stuffed artichoke. We had been to Italy last year, and we learned about their love for artichokes. Some restaurants there stuff them too, and this was a close to exact from any stuffed artichokes we had there. The ambiance her is a bit dark and intimate, and our waitress was well informed with the wine pairing she suggested.

It's been a minute since my last visit, and I'm thrilled to report that absolutely nothing has changed... and for once, that's actually a compliment. Round 1: The Liquid Diet Naturally, I kicked off my personal Tour of Italy with a couple of custom cocktails. The Elegant Marguerite: Fantastic, but don't let the name fool you. This "elegant" drink has a dark side and can cause a first round knockout. Proceed with caution. The Limoncellotini: Hands down, the absolute star of the show. Sweet, smooth, and hit every single note on the playlist. Pure perfection. Phase 2: The Carbs & Carnage Next up was the appetizer round. I went with the Calamari Fritta, served with a classic marinara and a seriously impressive pesto-style sauce. The calamari itself was light, airy, and practically melted in my mouth. For the main event, I ordered their specialty: Chicken Vincenzo. We're talking lightly breaded chicken with mushrooms, garlic, and herbs and one heck of a flavorful sauce, side-chicked by a plentiful portion of linguine. The pasta was a masterclass in al dente, and this lived up to the hype. The Service & The Happy accident. Our server was fantastic--actually took the time to pour our drinks tableside and drop some stellar meal recommendations. The place was also impeccably clean, as you'd expect. But the real test of a great restaurant is how they handle a hiccup. One of our friends ordered the eggplant parm, but the kitchen accidentally sent out chicken parm instead. Now, they absolutely would have bent over backwards to replace it, but the chicken looked so darn good they just went with it anyway. When a mistake tastes that good, you know the kitchen isn't messing around. 10/10. Will be back to get hammered by that Marguerite again.

Our server, Sarah, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made our night even more special. And the food -- WOW! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The salmon is a MUST-TRY; it was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. The calamari was another favorite of mine -- so good! We also ordered the tiramisu to go, and it was exactly how I love Italian tiramisu: light, delicious, and not overly sweet. Perfect! The atmosphere was beautiful and cozy, the service was wonderful, and every single dish we tried was delicious. We loved everything about our experience and will definitely be coming back. Food-wise, I had the Spaghetti & Wagyu Beef Meatball, and our table also got the lasagna and chicken parm. Everything was good and everyone was happy, but for the price (about double most other Italian chains), nobody was really blown away... until dessert. Between the crème brûlée and tiramisu, the entire table agreed that was the standout part of the meal. They were slammed when we went and we had a few service changes because of the rush. Getting drinks and putting our order in took longer than usual, but once we had a consistent server, it was all good. Busy nights happen. They also did a solid job keeping everything clean even during the chaos, and the restaurant itself is really beautiful. I'll be back, but I'm probably coming back just for the crème brûlée. The food was good, it just felt pricey for not having anything that really stood out in portion or flavor for my whole family. I had multiple family members in my party who've eaten here a lot tell me it tastes noticeably different than it used to. They said they've mentioned it to management before and were told changes were made to cut costs, and honestly, it shows in quality unfortunately. They don't plan to come back because of that, but I'll happily return for dessert.

The cheese was a delightful bold contrast to very well blended meatballs. It wasn't extremely creamy polenta but melted enough to eat along with the meatballs. By themselves seasoned goodness. Calamari was all rings, battered which was a different breading than I was used to but very good with both sugo and calabrian aioli provided. The portion was standard restaurant quantity but of course rings are honestly premium. Chicken parm plated along side parmesan rigatoni had crispy breading flavor with provolone and mozzarella atop. Every bite was savory. I needed a little salt on the rigatoni. My friend said her sliders were good too, even though the bread may look stiff, it was soft, she wanted the side of marinara for more moistness. We shared the dessert.. the butter cake was divine. One of the best butter cakes I've had. Not enough caramel so I hogged a lot of it with the ice cream & bananas. All of food was scrumptious!
