I was excited to try this "Chicago style pizza" .. I ordered a thin crust pizza with green peppers, olives and jalapeños. Wasn't very impressed with eating basically a pizza with a cracker like crust (it was hard) ..To me it's just an over-priced version of Vail pizza (which has very thin cracker-like crusts as well). Pizza wasn't terrible but lacked flavor. I'm all for supporting small businesses but $41 for two 12" thin crust pizzas just isn't worth it, especially with the quality. read more

Best Chicago style pizza and food options in the area. I never ate here in Chicago but here in Temecula it works great. Deep dish is pretty good (maybe a 3-3.5), but I was pleasantly suprised by how good the thin crust pizzas. (4.5-5) were. I don't even get the deep dish anymore, whole family LOVES their thin crust. Italian beef was meh, not as good as Portillos though the closest one is an hour away in Moreno Valley. Deep dish pizza. 45 minutes-it's well worth it. We don't come often because heavy food is well...heavy! But I love their pizza. A decent glass of cab. On the patio. Perfect SoCal weather to indulge during the spring-summer transition. Add a Caesar salad and social media to occupy your time. The music is a throw back to the late 70's. This is a solid 4. I ordered a Sculpin IPA, which was amazing as well as two meatballs as an appetizer ($3.95) and they were SO tender and delicious! Next time I think I'll have to try a pasta with meatballs dish! The marinara sauce paired with the meatball combination truly hit the spot!! Service was friendly and with the perfect amount of attention. Not checking on you every single second (so you can maintain conversation and enjoy your company) but attentive enough so that if you needed something, you'd get it. We ordered a small cheese pizza with extra dough for our main meal. Took about 25 minutes to cook, but when it arrived the dough was cooked perfectly and the pizza tasted good. My favorite part was dipping the extra thick pizza crust in the sauce of my leftover meatball marinara sauce!!! This is my wife and I's favorite pizza place in Temecula, but recently the front desk staff has turned awful. 75% of the time we try to call an order in, they just pick up the phone and hang up immediately. Even if you try calling multiple times in a row, they just answer and hang up without saying anything. I worked in the restaurant industry for 17 years and if I ever did this, I would be fired on the spot. I usually recommend Rosati's to all pizza lover's. My 5yr old loves the beer nuggets. Today they were really overcooked. My daughter even complained asking why are they so hard. I would have brought it back into the restaurant but we live in Murrieta off Clinton Keith. When I called to complain all I received was an "I'm sorry" and it didn't even sound sincere. It is one thing to have terrible food but terrible service is unacceptable. My daughter was really looking forward to her special treat and was extremely disappointed. Popped in for a late dinner with friends and coworkers. The cravings for pasta were real and among the closets spots in Temecula we came here. Good inside setup with places for big groups, lots of televisions and overall festive atmosphere. I didn't catch our servers name, but she was very friendly and took our orders quick and then got our food out to us fast as well. I myself ordered a beer to drink while I waited for my food. There were several orders of spaghetti in our group but I went with their meat lovers pizza (that's probably not the name). Let me tell you! I had one slice and I couldn't stop myself after. Definitely a favorite when visiting Temecula. The pizza is pretty consistent with the operations at their Chicago area locations. If you are from the Chicago area, it will do the trick. There are certainly better pizzas in Chi, but unless you are hopping on a plane, this place does work. My pizza was really good, only complaint was the middle pieces were not crisp on the crust. Other than that, it's a solid pizza. Bar area was decent, enough TVs to catch whatever game is on and drink prices were fair. Service was excellent. This is going to make me sound like a psychopath, but I've gradually come to the realization that I am not the biggest fan of pizza. I do enjoy it, but I really have to be in the mood and I don't want it often. In order for me to be blown away by pizza it truly has to be out of this world delicious. Rosati's is good, but it simply didn't blow me away. My family though, REALLY liked it, so I'm averaging to 3 stars. My parents' new home was finished about a month ago and my sister and I spent an entire weekend helping them unpack and set things up. When lunchtime came around during our second day of unpacking, no one had the energy to whip anything up in the kitchen. My nephews suggested pizza and everyone was on board as it was an easy fix. My sister and I each had an errand we needed to run in town anyway, so we figured we would pick up the pizza rather than pay for delivery. While out, I did a quick Yelp search of a place in the area that had good reviews, Rosati's was one of the first to pop up so I called to place our order. We opted for two large pizza's: 1 half pepperoni, half sausage and 1 half tomato, half cheese. We decided on the Double Dough, which is their version of hand-tossed, and I will say the crust was quite delicious. I would have been happy to just dip the crust in marinara sauce for lunch, but honestly, who doesn't like a big helping of carbs. I was quoted 15 minutes over the phone and it took us about 20 minutes to arrive, park, and get inside to pay. The pizza wasn't quite ready though, so we waited in their bar area for the remaining few minutes. We really debated grabbing a beer, but we knew we'd be indulging at a winery later so decided against it. However, I wouldn't mind coming back for a drink sometime. They have a really neat locals, divey, sports bar type feel going on in there. The two pizzas ended up being PLENTY to feed the 6 of us for two days, although I personally only ate a piece each day. My dad mentioned multiple times that it was "good pizza" and my nephews eagerly agreed and couldn't wait for their lunch leftovers the following day. I am certain that my family will be ordering Rosati's for any future family pizza nights when we are all visiting the new house and I will be happy to try a pasta dish or appetizer when that time comes! read more

I was a little nervous about trying this pizza spot but I had to give it a try since it's walking distance from my house. I'm so glad I did! It definitely exceeded my expectations! If you order online you get a 10% discount. So I tried ordering online but the site kept glitching. So I ended up calling in my order through phone and explaining the issue I was having with their site. The girl I was speaking to on the phone was kind, apologetic and still applied the 10% discount. So already good start. Good customer service. Now for the food. I ordered a large extra cheese pepperoni pizza, a large beef and I think pineapple thin crust pizza, and buffalo chicken wings. Both pizzas were generously topped with the toppings. The thin crust pizza was perfectly crispy, not burnt. The pepperoni pizza crust was fluffy and flavorful. I normally don't eat the crust but this pizza pie I sure did. The pizza was also super cheesy just how I like it. For the extra charge sometimes it makes me wonder if I'm actually getting extra cheese on my pizzas at other places. No doubts here! I also like how they cut the pizzas in squares instead of your typical pizza slice. The chicken wings were saucy, big, and tender. Meat was easily coming right off the bone. Price is a little expensive but you really do pay for what you get. Excellent quality food. So it was worth every penny. The service was excellent and we got seated pretty quickly although when we first walked in it took a while for the cashier to ask us if we wanted to eat in or if we had a pick up. The waitress was really good and kind very attentive and fast. We had the deep dish pizza, chicken with fettuccine and Alfredo sauce and for appetizers some hot wings. Overall our experience was fairly well. I would highly recommend it the only thing I would ask is that they really need to thoroughly clean the tables between guest. the table that we were seated was not really cleaned well. We ordered drinks of my Refuge Brewery grapefruit IPA and the wife had soda. We started with habenro mango boneless wings.....the sauce was good but they were overcooked... Pizza came it was a Hawaiian deep dish....small to split. The thickness of the pizza was average and the only thing to give a hint of being deep dish was the edge was pulled up to indicate deep? The way it was put together was kinda strange as well. The chess and toppings were cooked on it and the sauce was added after the fact so it didn't get that cooked in effect and It tasted meh... We've had the ribs here and they were really good. Tried the fried chicken and it was overcooked and sent it back. We've had the thin crust pizza and usually it's ok. Fried pickles have a Panko style breading while the onion rings are tempura style beer battered. The White Pizza with thin crust is a must! This was my favorite. If you like a White pizza you're in for a treat . Sunday is endless mimosa or sangria for only $12.00. Both made from local vineyard wines. (Sparkling wine for the mimosas). There aren't very many mom & pop sole proprietorship restaurants in the Murrieta/Winchester area, and noticed a lot more chain, franchise, or corporate eateries in the area. We like to support small businesses and dine at locations we can't eat elsewhere whenever possible. We were in the mood for Italian and discovered Rosati's had great reviews for their food, and decided to try them out. Due to COVID, they were only serving in their limited outdoor dining patio, so we had to wait about a half-hour for our table. They allowed us to wait inside their restaurant's indoor dining area which wasn't being used. That was very nice since it was air conditioned, plus they served us complimentary garlic knots while we waited for our table. They also allowed us to pre-order our deep dish pizzas ahead of time, since those pies can take a while to make. Once seated, it was still over 100° outside, but it was shaded plus they had water misters to help with the Riverside heat scorching everyone that day. Our server was very friendly, and we proceeded to order boneless BBQ wings and beer battered onion rings. Unfortunately, Rosati's didn't have 'brewed' iced tea (they only offered iced tea from their soda dispenser). Our large deep dish pizzas finally arrived, and boy were they HUGE! Each slice was able to satisfy an adult and had 8 enormous slices. Thus we took home 6 slices for leftovers, and even that felt like it weighed 10 lbs. TIP: order their small size deep dish, unless you have a party of 6 very hungry adults. It was very delicious though. One of the best Chicago deep dish pies we've ever had! It was almost a blessing we got to go home with so much, since we got to enjoy it over the next two days. If there's anything to complain about, we felt their outdoor dining area was a bit crammed for the space available. Meaning there wasn't quite 6 feet of distancing between patrons. (At least between our table and the closest table to us). With most restaurants, whenever there's booths or tables situated closer than 6 feet, they'll have a clear plastic/wood barrier between them. A small consolation was we were at a high top table, and the table closest to us was a large party seated at a lower height picnic style table. We just wore our masks when we weren't 'actively eating or drinking' to provide us with a bit more safety. Other than that, everything else was stellar! They take AMEX credit cards! That's always a plus for us. Their restrooms were clean. And their staff was VERY NICE and accommodating! We'll be back if we're ever in the area again. Great delicious Chicago deep dish pizza!
