My first time coming to Roscoe Village Pub and to say the least I am impressed! The bartenders Chris and Keegan are especially inviting, along with helpful with the beer list. 10/10 would recommend it for your perfect crisp beer on a fall night.

It's a quaint neighborhood pub with a cute beer garden, reasonably priced drinks, order in food and enjoy. Bring a friend, meet new friends and some channel 9 celebrities may be there to join the group.

I am pretty darn sure I already reviewed this joint, but here I go again. It's a nice joint. Somebody definitely knows like an architect or something, because it's pretty good looking, I dare say. Also, we might be crawling distance from here. Who knows? The thing I know, you know, is that I don't know a lot of things. Especially things I don"t know. Those, well, they elude me. Ok, back to my review. The beer is on point. The beer prices, perhaps even pointier. What I'm saying, is that the prices are great. You can get delivery from Chicago pizza powerhouse, Bartollis, if need be. The crowd here is also on point. This could make it difficult to walk, I know. Sorry, that's a ballet joke. Never you mind. So, yep, we love this joint. Cmon by .

RVP is a diamond in the rough. Family owned and operated, the place has been transformed into a friendly neighborhood pub. The owners and staff are welcoming and Jamie makes the best bloody East of the Mississippi. Great place for a pit stop or Thursday, Friday, Sunday football. Highly recommend. I pop by every time I'm in town.

Great back patio, spooky fall decor, reasonable handshake prices, and they got little games. Good place for a good time.

The mushroom and kale pie was nice and cheesy and the rocking vegan pie was more savoury, with a variety of vegetables and chickpeas as stuffing. The crust was neither too soft nor too crunchy. The highlight of the meal was the curry chips: potato wedges lightly fried with masala and curry leaves. The dipping sauce that came with the chips reminded me of tikka masala sauce, and paired beautifully with the chips. Dessert was toffee pudding: the caramel sauce that came with the pudding was delectable - the pudding itself was excellent and not overly sweet. We tried a variety of NA beers, and I was pleased with how many options they had. Service was quick, and we were well looked after. The ambiance is warm, with dim-ish lighting and a lot of dark wood. The restrooms were gorgeous - special shoutout to the lovely floral wallpaper. Overall, I highly recommend Pleasant House - the vibe is chill and understated and the food is stellar.

The sausage was very tasty, the breading on the outside was incredibly crisp, light, and the egg inside was cooked well. Both the steak pie and the chicken pie were very good. The chicken pie I think really needed the chutney that you can get separately. But that made it so much better and made it my preferred pie. The steak and ale pie was better than the chicken pie as a standalone, but needed a bit more gravy I think to elevate it. Sticky toffee pudding again was delicious. Surprisingly light, not overly dense so I was glad it came with the custard which was very flavorful. Overall, will definitely return!

The decor looks historic with dark wood walls, beautiful molding, and of course antique sports memorabilia. It is in Chicago after all!! The menu items that were highlighted was the prime rib, while supplies last and the ribs. I tried to go with the prime rib but at 7:30 it was sold out. The bartenders suggested the French dip sandwich with shaved prime rib but went with the ribs instead. Smoked daily the ribs were tender and moist with a very sweet homemade BBQ sauce. I prefer my sauce on the spicy side but it was delicious, the shrimp were fried and crispy, served with fresh cocktail sauce. I opted for the fries and side salad but were good. The Greek vinaigrette dressing was delicious. The bartender was super engaging and knowledgeable. I hat his signature Ole Fashion and a glass of cab from their list. Both were great You need to eat here!!

The decor is straight from the 60s or 70s. The menu has something for everyone from ribs to prime rib to burgers. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The food was good. Our only one issue is the waiter told us the lamb chop special was gone so my husband ordered the pork chops but what was served were lamb chops. He ate them so we didn't say anything to the waiter but it was strange because the bill listed lamb chops not pork chops. Maybe they weren't gone after all? Over all I'll be keeping Miller's Pub in mind when we need somewhere to go for dinner or lunch and don't necessarily want fast food or the latest hot restaurant.

Amazing that fun isn't always beers and chugging. The food is actually good and can be talked about in reviews because some people actually come here to eat, which tells you how they actually have a kitchen. Believe everything is good here but we came for the beers of course. It's certainly the main product made here so why wouldn't it be important. They make more than you can believe which is impressive because there's all kinds of crowds who pass through. For sure everyone wants beer. It's $6 a pint at happy hour. Pretty great for craft beers compared to lots of places it seems. Best one we got was the Bucket Hat. This is a Belgian style witbier. Has notes of bubble gum, coriander, and orange. The food isn't an afterthought so get some of that. It's about $18 for a burger. Vegans have options. Certainly one of these is the Veggie Burger. This is an amazing thing with a spinach patty topped with chipotle tomato marmalade, cremini mushrooms, mixed greens, pickled red onions, and sweet potatoes. All on a fluffy ciabatta bun. The rest of the menu contains meaty stuff. For sure it feels like a place for the hipsters but it's pretty great for anyone. It's located at the intersection of Jackson and Wabash close to lots of fun. The brewery has food that's better than expected but many other things about this kind of stuff are typical.
