Receipt of what we ordered vs the WRONG sandwich we got
    Christina R.

Drove all the way from whittier to full fill a father's day craving. Once I received my order i asked the same girl that took my order if everything was in the bag. She nodded yes. I checked it and noticed 3 potato salads were missing. Went back to the register and she asked is there something missing I let her know what was missing. Once I got home realized we got VERY wrong order. The sandwich that was meant for my husband was just a simple pastrami sandwich. Receipt in the picture shows what he originally ordered vs what we got. Horrible. Such a far drive to get something simple wrong.

First time here ,was on my way to an Angel baseball game. Fun place to eat at ,full bar and delicious food I order tuna sandwich ,wow glad I did super fresh very favorable. Bread was so soft and freshly made. Enjoyed a side of macaroni salad. Had a bite of their Italian sandwich ,used good meats and cheese.

We were looking for a sandwich spot for our picnic at Carbon Canyon Park and although it was about 6 miles from the park, we made the detour and it was worth it. We loved the vibe from the moment we walked in. You can hang out at the bar, sit outside, or dine at one of the tables. We ordered takeout and the service was fast and friendly. We tried the Pastrami Sandwich that was piled high and included swiss cheese and mustard on rye. A side was also included and we chose potato salad. I loved the two pickle spears that were nicely wrapped on the side. The sandwich was delicious, but we found the potato salad to be a bit bland. We will definitely be back to try more.

Impressive. Beautiful Bar with a local nostalgic vibe. Perfect blend of old Tony's in Anaheim with a modernized upgrade food and drinks. Liam, the owner, is a great guy and passionate about the experience. Great service! Brandon took care of us! Pfeiffers and Coors Banquet on tap! Will be back assp!

I'm happy to see that Tony's Deli opened up in Placentia! I was sad to see they left the Anaheim location because it was really close to my job. Their veggie sandwich is my absolute favorite. It's a great size and it comes with a side. I always get their macaroni salad. The service was so quick! I ordered, used the bathroom, and a few minutes after, it was ready. I love that they have seating in their patio and that they have some parking because it can be a challenge on Bradford Avenue. I always appreciate their unique decor. It's such a fun, and lively spot.

I was a fan of the Tony's in Anaheim, so I was happy to see they have reopened in Placentia! I really like this location, they have an outdoor patio and with all the windows and doors it seems much more open and airy inside than their last spot. There is a small parking lot that was filled up when we arrived, but we easily found street parking about a block away. You seat yourself here and they bring you menus. We already knew we wanted to split a Boulevard, which is hot corned beef, pastrami, swiss and Russian dressing on rye. This was always my favorite sandwich there and it is still awesome! We got potato salad as our side and they gave each of us a cup of it, along with a tasty pickle. Lunch was $33 for the sandwich and one beer, we were both walked out full from our massive halves! Service was fast and friendly, I recall the last location being pretty slow. Was happy that is not the case here. Turns out Friday is "free cookie day" and the waitress brought us two large delicious cookies on the house. They were some combo of oatmeal, chocolate chips, coconut, maybe macadamia nuts? Whatever they were, they were super tasty. We will definitely be back!

Review 21/365 Day Challenge Finally visited Tonys Deli in Old town Placentia on a Friday for lunch 1.23.26 Heard so much about this Deli on Placentia buzz that relocated from Anaheim. The deli has a pub crawl type of vibe and very welcoming..Server Paige and manager Tawnya were really nice. Didn't feel rush since it's my 1st time visiting and looking over the menu on what to order. For a mid day on a Friday, the deli restaurant was pretty busy, especially at bar. They have big screen projection to host the Super Bowl. And have a few regular tv's at the bar. Interior is a bit busy but it's the vibe Tony's deli is looking for. Like a sports bar with darts game machine to keep you entertained. Have lots of patio seatings There is limited parking on the side of the restaurant. Definitely will return.

Tony's Original Bar & Deli just opened in downtown Placentia. A friend and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to check it out. They have their own small freshly paved parking lot on the side of the building, but it was full when we arrived. Luckily there were a few spots available just across the street. Parking may be difficult during prime time, especially with El Faralito just a few doors down. They have a nice patio out front with several tables, all of which have their own umbrella to provide shade on sunny days. They have a good number of tables inside and a full bar. The décor inside is fun with string lights up in the rafters above, and a ton of photos, plaques, signs, and license plates on the walls. It had an energetic vibe inside with great rock music playing, sports on the TVs, and a diverse crowd ranging from kids to seniors and everything in between. I thought you were supposed to go up to the counter to order, but a guy at the counter said just go grab a table and they will come and take your order. Just a few minutes later our order was taken, and our sandwiches came out quick. Service was friendly. I had the Boulevard sandwich (hot Vienna corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, rye bread, $18.95). It comes with a side, and I had the potato salad. It was a flavorful, good sized sandwich. The bread seemed a little thin and is very soft. Between a good amount of Russian dressing and the thickness of the sandwich, the bread almost turned to mush and it became a bit of a mess to eat. I would ask them to lightly toast the bread next time which would probably help. I liked the potato salad which is on the peppery side. It also comes with a slice of dill pickle. My friend had the Reuben sandwich (pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian dressing, rye bread, $18.95). There was apparently a little confusion when he was ordering, and his sandwich didn't come with the sauerkraut in it. He just ate it as-is, and didn't bother pointing it out. He enjoyed his sandwich also and agreed with me that the bread should be toasted a bit. We enjoyed our food, and it has a great atmosphere inside. It is a little on the expensive side at a bit over $20 after tax for a sandwich, but at least it comes with a side and has a good amount of meat. I'll return again periodically.

Just want to give a shoutout to Nathan behind the bar! Ordered a side of fries To go and asked them to pack up my wings. I'm sure the busy weekend led to them being out of to go boxes but he went out of his way to get my food wrapped up and covered in foil in a plastic plate. That's the kind of effort I really appreciate! I could have tossed my wings on top of my fries but I'm glad he made the time to separate them!

Great local spot for anytime of the day! Both sandwiches we ordered (Italian and Cuban) were big, meaty and flavorful. I wasn't too impressed with the sides (potato and pasta salad) neither had a ton of flavor, I think I'll go for chips next time. They offer a full bar with table service, seat yourself. We were greeted by a lovely staff which also recommended the items we ordered. It's a relaxed environment, couple of tv mounted playing the games, along with fun wall art and an outside patio. Awesome spot to enjoy on the weekends. Definitely coming back!

My friend got the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were hot and really good!!

This was my first time and I will definitely be back! The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was great! Drinks were good!!

Finally made it to Tony's, they did not disappoint! Met Liam the owner, he was super friendly. Chelsea was also fantastic. Food was incredible, decor was awesome and beer was VERY COLD!

This place is awesome. The service is amazing. The food doesn't disappoint at all. The vibe is amazing. I love the way it looks in here. And best of all the website is amazing and easy to navigate. Definitely will be coming here more often.

I finally stopped by on a Saturday shortly after opening around 11:15 a.m. There was only one other customer when we arrived, though a steady stream of patrons trickled in throughout our visit. The dining room never reached full capacity, but it was about 60% occupied by the time we left. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. There was one cashier taking orders. We ordered the Montague ($16.75), Romeo ($16.75), and Blueberry Bread Pudding ($8.99). The sandwiches arrived at our table within 7-8 minutes and were piping hot from the panini press. Of the two, I enjoyed the Montague, particularly the garlic sauce. As a big bread pudding fan, I knew I had to try it when I spotted it in the display case. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. For dine-in orders, it's served warm with a sauce which was a nice touch. However, I wish the menu had noted that it was accompanied by a lemon glaze/sauce. I'm not a fan of lemon-flavored desserts and had I known beforehand, I either would have requested it without the sauce or skipped the dessert altogether. Overall, Stefano's was good, but I had built up a lot of anticipation for this place and it ultimately didn't quite meet my expectations.

First off, I came in for two pastrami sandwiches which they promptly came out to me and said they didn't have any more pastrami. I got one soft bread and one crispy bread and the crispy bread could've chipped a tooth on a normal mouth so thank God I've got implants. Both sandwiches were painfully boring and I wish I had something good to say. I'm not sure what was put in my wife's sandwich either when she got explosive diarrhea less than 10 minutes after eating her sandwich? The cold cuts tasted off and I wanna say that they were rotten because I've been burping it all day. Something positive? I guess the store looked nice on the inside? The worker asked if I wanted to add any thing else but I kept it basic (I wish I would have asked if there was an upcharge for cheese and more veggies, although there wasn't for the tomatoes). After trying a sample of their soup of the day, I got a 6 ounce cup of that as well. And since they're best known for their cookies, I added a couple extra f those too. Since the sandwich is what brought me here, the food aspect of this visit was very disappointing. Although it was a good sized sandwich, the untoasted bread was dry and the egg salad was sorely lacking in personality. Even after adding copious amounts of Trader Joe's aglio e oglio seasoning, it was beyond help. I ended up only eating half. The cookies would be their redeeming pieces, right? Sadly, no. The cinnamon sugar cookie tasted like a butter cookie; the white chocolate pretzel cookie had sea salt sprinkled on top did not make the other flavors come through. The only part of my meal today that was worth ordering again was the chicken lemon orzo soup. Just having a bigger container of this with some oyster crackers would have been a much more satisfying meal. Even though the food was disappointing, the service would get 4 stars and the cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant itself would receive 5.
