Not sure how I missed doing a review for Rose & Lois! I am not drinking coffee right now but we got refreshers and it was a nice day to sit outside and enjoy our drinks! We brought our dog so needed to stay outside. I went in to order and it's so nice inside! The seats look comfortable. I love the areas so you can sit with friends. They also had little work type rooms. Super nice! They even had a children's area and best of all a drive-thru! My Cucumber watermelon mint refresher was super refreshing! My husband had the strawberry one I think. I had seen some fun drinks on Instagram and in Yelp photos. I need to try to catch the banana split latte. It was a weekly special. I look forward to some holiday drinks! We aren't too close and aren't going out a ton, but I hope to stop by again soon! read more

This review is for their Mobile Coffee Trailer.... The concept is absolutely awesome and the product that they deliver is even better! I absolutely loved what I got and I can't wait to go to their actual store! They came to my apartment complex on Friday morning and the setup is so cool! They also have a portable fire warmer to keep your hands warm when you get their famous cold brew! I got two lattes, the pistachio latte and the lavender latte with almond milk - both were amazing. I asked the barista about the sweetness level because I am not too keen on overly sweet drinks and he described both flavors perfectly! The pistachio latte was my first ever of its kind - it was a subtle flavor that hit more with the aftertaste, and it was not overly nutty. The lavender almond milk latte was great as well! It was not "flowery", and this may sound weird, but it was more-so an experience for your tastebuds. It was complimented so well with the almond milk as well! The service and trailer were amazing and all staff members were knowledgeable about their product and could educate you on what you were ordering and give suggestions to inform. This was a very nice and easy location to get to in my opinion. The store was nice and clean and the service was great! I was a little disappointed how the pecan pie latte didn't have as much pecan flavor as I would expect for a pecan expresso drink. I live right across this coffee shop - and it is definitely a great alternative to the more mainstream coffee shops. It is family owned, all the employees are incredibly friendly and the quality is unmatched! They have cool drink creations, some good food items and the atmosphere is often quiet enough to work remotely, whether you choose indoors or outdoors! If you have kids, they even have a small kids play area! It is well kept, clean and lots of seating! I also had the pleasure of enjoying their mobile coffee truck that came to my property management during work and they can do just about every drink they do in house, from the mobile truck! The gingerbread latte is a must try! The initial flavor is similar to a chai tea with a coffee and gingersnap aftertaste. They did a really good job getting all the spices right. It is a delicious and comforting drink! My husband and I came in on a Saturday late morning for lattes. The shop has a lot of spaced out tables inside and out. Everyone that was working or in line had a mask on. The bar/drink making area looked really clean. Even though it was busy, the staff stayed upbeat and organized. I was running errands the other day and wanted to grab a quick coffee but knew I didn't want to bother with a chain. I am not usually up in this area of town so when I saw that there was a local coffee place THAT ALSO had a drive thru, I knew I had to check it out. Sometimes I forget how great the convenience of drive thru coffee is and the fact that Rose & Lois offers local coffee with a drive thru is a win win. Ordering was super simple and from start to finish, I probably was in line no more than 5 minutes. They offer breakfast and lunch items too that are easy to take with you in the car. I also found out that they have a mobile espresso bar that is absolutely adorable and would certainly consider renting if I have an event sometime soon. I had been meaning to visit here for a while, so I'm glad they partnered with Yelp Elite to help get my butt into gear! This location is visibly seen from the road & has plenty of parking. Inside is incredibly clean, cute & trendy. What sets them apart is little details: they offer free mints (goodbye coffee breath!), they have a corner to purchase merch, tables have hand sanitizer along with signs if the tables need sanitized. I got a gingerbread latte - highly recommend! The gingerbread is subtle but delicious & the temperature of the drink was actually drinkable! No burnt tongue here! They did have a few vegetarian options which I appreciated, so I got a spinach Egg bite. Very good & real - not fake & rubbery like the ones from Starbucks. It's a little tricky to eat because it comes on a small paper that sticks to the bottom, but that wouldn't stop me from ordering more! They are sold individually, so order two or three if you're really hungry! I also got a protein bar that was made locally, which is awesome -- not to mention a peanut butter lover's dream. This is a rather new coffee shop which I discovered thanks to Yelp. We've been here a few times since then and we have nothing but good things to say. Great coffee and tea selection, plus, you can treat yourself with locally made brownies or with other, non-sweet breakfast menu items. The staff is very friendly and it's pretty cozy inside of you decide to sit in. They accept wireless payments! Parking is also a breeze. We'll definitely come back! read more

The baristas here are just as sweet as can be. 5-stars for them and the amazing Cold Brew Float I had. OMG, so worth each calorie and the $6.50 for this dessert! It's a drink, but also can def be considered a dessert. Cold Brew with your choice of ice cream (I can't remember the name of it but I had the one that was graham flavored with chocolate chunks - very good!). They use Julian Coffee for their brews (a local Indy roaster). Rose & Lois has a traveling coffee bar truck set-up but they recently opened up a storefront in the middle of COVID-19 (props to them!) and offer a drive-thru service (which is what we used)! I could say a lot about this coffee shop, but I'll keep it short and sweet this time: I drive 15mins to come to R&L because it is the only place around where I can actually drink my coffee! Any Momma with kids knows it's impossible to actually enjoy a coffee shop experience... until R&L came around! The little kids play corner is an absolute game changer! I realized that I have been coming here a lot and had not left a review! Their coffees are excellent and the service is very good and friendly. My husband swears by their Cuban latte and only orders that. I usually order the lavender honey latte which I thoroughly enjoy but today I tried their special which was a Nutella Latte. I mean - that is hard to pass up. It was very tasty although I would have preferred it to be a little hotter than it was. I have sampled some of their pastries and they were good- much better than I expected. Definitely check out their croissants. The atmosphere is fun but it is small so seating can be a premium. It looks like they have a small area for kids to play which is nice and they do have a drive through. Once the weather gets better I think there will be additional seating outside. As I said we go there a lot and it takes us 30 minutes to get there so it is good. Check it out. read more

I was so excited to check out this new spot last week! Rose & Lois has been on my radar for a little while and I was able to make the drive to check it out. I was immediately greeted by smiling faces as soon as I walked in. They have a great menu with a vast array of options- from cold brews to seasonal drinks and breakfast sandwiches or pastries if you're wanting something sweeter. I had the gingerbread latte with oat milk and a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The gingerbread latte was perfection! The sandwich was yummy but it came out piping hot and I had to wait a while before I could take a bite without burning my mouth. I also picked up a nitro cold brew on my way out for a family member and he really enjoyed it. My only wish is that it was closer to my house! I'll be back when I'm in the area again. I've been meaning to stop here since we moved to the area last year, and I finally got around to it yesterday. I intended to treat my 3 year old to a kids drink but ended up getting myself something and a pastry to share. So yummy! My favorite thing about our trip was the kid drink. They have several options and they're priced very well as a fun treat for a kiddo. My guy got the iced cocoa and I can see us making that a regular spot for something special. My coffee was very good, but I'm not a coffee snob so I can't elaborate too much past that :-D I am, however, well versed in the sweet department and I can confidently say the chocolate croissant was fabulous. Perfect amount of chocolate, flaky butter croissant -- 10/10 would order again. My only hold up is that they have a nice selection of pastries and I might need to explore them before I start repeating orders. Blueberry scone, pumpkin muffin, coffee cake... all the things. I did notice a flyer on the drive thru (which was slightly slow but we weren't in a hurry) with some fall goodies that sounded very yummy. Came here at 3pm on a weekday to meet a friend from Carmel as this location was halfway. 2 hours before closing, was pretty disappointed to be told they were out of the soup(saw it online and really wanted to try = the reason I picked this spot). Had very limited food options overall, was hoping I would at least be able to get a nice salad as an alternative as I am a vegetarian but there was literally nothing savoury besides a chicken salad and ham sandwich. 3 stars because the Caramel Macchiato and brown sugar pie I ordered were pretty decent, so maybe this place if better suited for if you are looking just for coffee and a very limited selection of baked goods but we were hoping to spend a few hours here to catch up and highly discouraged to return due to lack of menu items. read more

I recently attended a painting class here and it was so much fun! It was a small group of us. Everyone was social distancing and wearing proper masks. The instructor was amazing and did a great job leading us with our canvas. I tried two different coffees. One was a nitro cold brew float- my gosh it was yummy! And the second one was a apple cider drink- and that was even yummier. The coffee shop is very adorable and even has a children's play area. How have I not posted a review yet?! I love Rose & Lois! My favorite drink is their pistachio latte. This winter I have also tried their gingerbread latte and pecan pie latte. And while I typically don't like a lot of spice in my coffee - the gingerbread was amazing! I recently took my husband for the time and he was blown away and seems like he may be addicted to the pistachio latte. The space is quaint with enough tables to sit down for a cup of coffee with a friend or bring your laptop and work. There is a meeting room as well as a play area for children. You will be blown away to know that there are child sized toilets in the bathrooms which is great for all of us toddler moms who are in the wonderful season of potty training read more

Full disclosure: I have not (yet) been to the brick and mortar. That being said, Rose and Lois still gets an enthusiastic 5 star rating. They have a coffee/ food truck that is a staple for my family every Saturday during Farmer Market season. They make the *best* almond milk lattes. We love Rose & Lois! It is so nice to have a local and niche coffee shop in the area! The environment inside the shop is awesome! They have a variety of seating options, light music playing, private rooms, and a children's play area. On my most recent visit I would rate my experience a 4/5. Upon walking in we were greeted by the cashier who was super friendly and helpful. I tried the pecan pie latte but didn't want it super sweet so she helped me adjust my order so that I would like it. The barista was so so. There were a few people ordering while I was there and when she completed the drinks she didn't call out anyone's order. She didn't call out my order so it had been sitting up on the counter for a minute. Maybe it's because it had been sitting up there, but my coffee wasn't really hot. It was sort of the temperature you would get a kids hot chocolate, almost like warm. Maybe this was just my preference, I'm sure they could make my drink hotter if I specified when ordering. But good to know for future reference. BUT it did taste very good. The cashiers recommendations were spot on! Also I usually forgo whipped cream at other coffee shops but their whipped cream is delicious! read more

What a lovely drive thru experience! I absolutely LOVED the gingerbread latte! The flavors were perfection: the best blend of sweet and spice. I went through the drive thru because I had one of our dogs in the car with me, but the inside of the cafe looked super nice! I will definitely be back soon, because this lovely spot is so close to my office. They have a loyalty program where once you get 8 drinks, you can get one free. I also ordered the lemon blueberry muffin, along with the chocolate chunk cookie. The lemon blueberry muffin was insanely delicious, and I love that both sweet treats were warm. I asked the barista if she wouldn't mind giving me a little cup of whipped cream for our cute puppy. She loved it! A must-visit! This location is a little hidden off the street, but I had no problem finding it. I loved that it had a drive-through and the menu was varied but not overwhelming. I ordered the peppermint mocha and the breakfast burrito from BluMoon cafe. The mocha was DELICIOUS. I usually can't finish an espresso drink but it didn't make me too jittery, wasn't too sugary, and the flavoring was perfect. The breakfast burrito was also so good: real eggs and bacon wrapped in a wheat burrito, so it was tasty but also healthy. The guy who helped me, sorry I didn't get his name, was so kind too. Super cute inside and friendly service. Several coffee options to choose from. I had an americano that was decently priced and a really good temperature. There were a few snack options but in the 5 mins between when I ordered and when I got my coffee, my chocolate croissant was forgotten. When they remembered , they pulled it out of a fridge, opened the plastic that sealed it and warmed it. I know these things aren't made in house but would have loved to seen them on display rather than piled out of a fridge and thrown in microwave essentially....it would have elevated the classy experience I was otherwise provided. read more

My community had a coffee pop-up this weekend with the cutest little coffee cart. I didn't realize they have a larger cart that I've visited at the Fishers Farmers Market before. I love their chai and the very friendly ladies manning the cart told me it is a locally made chai! This is a super cute idea to book for social distanced appreciation events. Came out to this new coffee shop in Carmel and it was a really nice experience. The place seemed to have just opened judging by the drive up menu and the menu inside. All the employees were super friendly and helpful when I was ordering. I picked up the gingerbread latte and a coffee. The latte was very tasty with good ginger flavor balanced with some sweetness.
