My favorite coffee shop in Hamilton county. The best quality in the state honestly! I recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat.

Let me tell y'all, I was impressed with everything and I can't stop talking about this place. I've probably been there three times within two weeks. The cake slices are a good size and tasty. Not to mention inexpensive to me. The tropical matcha was chef kiss Overall, this place is amazing and the staff is outstanding. They are helpful, attentive and always inviting us back. Go check them out if you haven't already done so and do the speed limit.

I wasn't sure what to expect once we arrived. They have tables and a patio sofa in front to enjoy your treats outside. It was way too hot the day I went, so I definitely wasn't sitting outside! LOL. As soon I stepped inside, the vibe shifted! It's DARLING! They already had it decorated for Halloween. It was so cute + clean! The employee that assisted me was patient, friendly, and provided her favorite options to help me with my decision. Boy, did I place my order just in time... once I completed my order and turned around, the line was out the door! I don't think we planned on sitting at one of the tables, but we ended up doing just that. We met the lady sitting next to us and ended up chatting the morning away while watching people come and go. The bakery offers plenty of variety with sweet treats, coffee, and evennn cocktails. Boone County Cake Co. is definitely 10/10. They are only open a few days each week so I would check their website before going to make sure they are open especially if you're coming from the city.

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. This bakery made my special family party a huge success, everyone enjoyed the food and remarked on how delicious it looked and tasted. Thank you SO much for making the event extra special

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

You can also sit outside under a cover by the water and watch the ducks or listen to the birds, it is peaceful. Food has been great. There are many choices with soups, salads, and sandwiches. Their chicken salad is amazing and I generally get the Mediterranean sandwich, without the olives (I know, just not my thing). The best part, meals come with this tiny butter croissant that it out of this world! So good!!! Desserts are a hit or miss. Some are really good and others just okay. The first couple of times I was here, everything was fairly smooth and service was great. The last time that I was there (a week ago), I did not have that same experience. There are different people working there, unsure if newer or not, but it was definitely not as inviting and my order was wrong, so it was not typed in correctly. I did not say anything, I am positive they would have made it right, but it was a no biggee. I also ordered a coffee and when I went to get it, it was still not made. My food came out but no coffee. I was told "I will make it for you now" and then it was brought out a little bit later. Unfortunately, I was finished eating at that point, but no biggee. My point with the above, is that the customer service is just not on par like it used to be, not sure what the changes are, but I love this cute spot, so will be coming back! PROS: Parking easy Outdoor seating Fireplace in main room CONS: Customer service not great at times

Coffee (10am) - drip coffee, packet half and half, but Cain sugar which I enjoy more, good sturdy cups and small fill so you don't have too high of a dosage of caffeine Atmosphere - not overly crowded but also not spacious, becomes above 80 dB at high traffic hour. in an old building so options are limited. Would have wished for a larger branch out in decor and style. Touches present in only select places. Food & Wait (Breakfast Quesadillas with side of cook potatoes) - presentation good, potatoes are slight mash but well cooked, a bit too salty but still palatable. Salsa is a low end mild, has cilantro so sad for me (soap gene) but over all not entirely flavorful, mostly spice and tomato. Avocado slices not overly ripe, good points. Quesadillas are the star of the dish, good balance of crunch in the tortillas with salt and savory in the bacon eggs and peppers. Cheese is not in your face as it's a lighter cheddar. Wait was negligible, a very quick dish to make for full kitchen. Pricing - $$ RATING - 4/5

We'd heard great things about Rosie's, so we were excited to finally give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience just didn't live up to the hype. Our food came out less than five minutes after ordering, which in a packed restaurant immediately made us wonder how fresh it really was. After tasting it, it was pretty clear much of it had been prepared well beforehand. I even asked for my potatoes to be crispy, and the response was simply, "We can't do that," which was surprising for such a popular breakfast spot. On top of that, almost everything lacked seasoning and fell pretty flat flavor wise. We barely touched our meals and didn't even want to take the leftovers home, which is rare for us. To be fair, this is just our personal experience, and it's obvious a lot of people genuinely enjoy Rosie's. We're not trying to be overly critical over one visit. But based on the meal and service we received, it's not a place we'd personally recommend.
