DO NOT GO TO THIS CLEANER. We got our drapes dry cleaned and they charged $70+ for two panels that cost $25 dollars per panel and they came back still dirty. Then we came back to ask to fix it, and they did get it cleaned but they came back 10 inches shorter! I have a feeling they actually washed them rather than dry clean them. They made us sign a waiver that we wouldn't ask for our money back despite the results before we realized that they shrunk the panels. We are very disappointed. Instead of apologizing in the first place for not properly cleaning our drapes, they made sure that we wouldn't ask for our money back because I think they knew that they shrunk the drapes. The drapes were pretty much worthless. We ended up just throwing them away! read more

They are friendly, do a good job on clothes, and also offer alterations and send shoes out for repair. The proprietor remembers me and by the time I get out of my car, he has my last drop off ready to take home. I also like that they offer a green cloth reusable bag in lieu of plastic. This handy bag also functions as a dry cleaners collection point at home, so it gets used in both directions. I recommend Rose Cleaners, and am happy to support local business. read more

Good lord, is this place still in business? It's been awhile. I'm assuming the ownership hasn't changed. This owner grossly overcharges for cleaning on women's items. My last bill was more than the clothing originally cost to buy! The last order was so over the top I vocalized how overpriced I believed it to be and the owner growled at me. The lech has a very short temper and horrifically degrading attitude towards women. The kind that makes you want to go back in time to the moment his parents were about to boink and turn the hose on them to avoid his creation. None of my garments were damaged here, but I was damaged. I can't emphasize enough how much I regret ever patronizing this sewer of a cleaners. I can't walk past the store without giving it the finger. I could never need something dry cleaned badly enough to return to this hellhole. Let's hear it for Dryel! Put it in the dryer and it's done. If you want something done right, do it yourself. Never again will I overestimate the importance of professional dry cleaning over doing it myself. Nothing I own is THAT structured that it would get ruined by a home dry cleaning kit. I have, however, had things ruined by so-called pro cleaners. I'd rather crawl on my face through miles of manure while screwing Sarah Palin and barfing up week-old Big Macs than give the creep any more of my money. I took my cleaning here for 2 months without any problems (5 stars). Inexplicably, in my last two loads, they: 1) lost the matching belt to a new dress - minus 1 star 2) broke/lost buttons on a dress shirt - minus 1/2 star 3) ripped material along w/ hook from pair of pants - minus 1/2 star I only talked to them about the belt since I can be crafty when necessary and could deal w/ the other 2 smaller issues. After arguing with the manager about whether I really *did* bring the belt in with the dress (minus an infinity of stars!), he offered to make a new belt for me if I could tell him where to buy the material (huh?). I didn't take him up on the offer since I didn't have a good feeling about what the belt would look like and decided the continuing drama wasn't worth it. So maybe it's unfair...I suppose it's possible that he could have stitched me an amazing diamond encrusted belt worthy of Queen Elizabeth but I guess we'll never know. read more

I took an expensive pair of pants ($150+)in to be cleaned. A week later I picked them up and when I got home and put them on they were 2 inches too big in the waist and 3 or more inches too long. I took them back and the lady asked if I had lost weight. I explained that I could not have lost 50 lbs in a week or shrunk several inches. She said she would have to see a receipt from Nordstroms before she could do anything. Nordstroms could not print a receipt as I had bought them just over a year before. They werre in perfect condition when I took them in. They offered to alter them but as I no longer trusted their cleaning I also did not trust their alterations. The problem was that they had some spandex in them and the chemicals used to clean them destroyed the spandex. From this I learned to save all receipts and use Yelp for recommendations if you are new to an area. read more

Holy crap. I was desperate to get laundry done and the other cleaner down the block couldnt' get it done same day. I don't know why I didn't check here first before bringing my clothes in. Picked them up ~8 hours after I dropped them off and they were all nicely hung up - but still WET. Not just damp, but wet. Once everything dried out it got this odd crusty texture - not sure how they washed and/or (partially) dried the clothing, but it all feels gross and I'm going to have to have my hotel here re-wash it all. So strange. It's a shame, because the owner seemed like a nice guy, but the quality of their service was horrible. read more

I had my daughters halloween costume mended here and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service, the quality of the work, the price and the total experience. Whenever I need something to get done I know Rose Cleaners will be my go-to place without hesitation. I had to bring the Belle costume back to get shortened even more and they took it with a smile and didn't charge extra for the work. They got it done in a jiffy too, as they understood it was halloween day. Very kind and caring people. The various alterations to the dress were spot on! For the love of your clothes do not go here!!! I went on a Thursday to have my pants hemmed, they assured me they would be done by Saturday at 2pm. Well when I arrived they couldn't locate my pants. When they located my "pants" they were someone elses pants! After coming back twice in the same day so they could locate my pants to no avail they were unsuccessful. Leaving me HIGH AND DRY for my interview that coming Monday. So I had to go out and buy a brand new pair of pants that matched my suit a couple hundred dollar loss. Never go here EVER! I should have checked Yelp first but, I messed up. I would give them a zero rating but I can't, since my pants have yet to be located and I expect them to have to buy me an entire new suit as its a custom fit suit... will see what happens... read more

So happy how I was treated from the time I stepped through the door. I had a problem with an ankle boot that I have had for many years....I lost a button......but.....not just any button. It was a leather covered button which was impossible to find. I was very sad because these boots are one of my best pair of shoes I own. I loved them so much I got them in brown too. Well, the folks at Rose took my boot.....MADE A BUTTON.....and fastened it on!!! It is a great boot again! The price was reasonable as well. These folks are very friendly and customer service oriented. As soon as I get a chance I have to take my brown boots in for a clean up....o yeah....did I mentioned they made my black boots look like new again!!! Hooray Rose Cleaners!!! read more

I would give a negative star if I could. Do not go here! I just moved to LG and so this was the first time I went to Rose Cleaners. The girl was really nice and very helpful. She said it was $9 to hem pants and that they would be ready on Thursday after 3. So on Friday after 6 I go to pick up my two hemmed pants and 1 blouse and the guy says the pants will not be ready until Saturday after 12 and it's $45. He calls the girl and confirms that she told me $9 each for the pants and then trys to charge me $36...so bascially $18 for a fake silk top. He then says that I'm complaining and that I'm not seeing his side. EXCUSE ME! Worst customer service ever and I don't have my pants! read more

Nice owner, HORRIBLE dry cleaner! Avoid at all costs! Not only did they charge me an arm and a leg, but they did not starch any of my items correctly like I had asked! You're better off wearing smelly clothes than taking them to this place. read more

I went here a couple of saturdays ago to have a jacket altered. I needed it same day. I can't remember the gentleman's name, but he was very kind! He made sure I would get my jacket by the end of the day and even offered to stay late if I couldn't make it back in time. I used them once before to have some jeans hemmed. Great place! read more

This place is a disaster. They try to be nice but lack competence. I had the same experience as someone else mentioned where drycleaned slacks came back with the waist 1-2 inches INCREASED? How is this possible? On another occasion they missed the deadline they promised to have an item ready and they are so clue-less it never occurs to them to offer a discount or future credit when they underserve the customer. Plenty of other cleaners in the area to try. read more

In a nut shell - don't trust or bring ANYTHING expensive to these guys to get fixed. They just decided to give my EXTREMELY expensive dress shoes to another customer because the D-bag customer mentioned they MIGHT have also dropped off shoes for them to fix and then happily walked out with new dress shoes all fixed up. If you are the loyal customer that just got handed my shoes for free and you're reading this - Please bring them back to the store so I don't have to deal with these idiots anymore. Brand new to the Los Gatos area and had a pair of expensive dress shoes that I needed to have stitched up. Seems like an easy fix. I come back a week later to pick them up and the first thing the women tells me is that I already picked up my shoes. I absolutely did not pick up my shoes and showed her the receipt. She goes on to tell me that I had one of my friends come to pick them up and that I need to talk to my friend to get my shoes back. I explained that I just moved to Los Gatos and none of my friends live anywhere near there. She starts to back track and then tells me that she might have accidentally given them to another customer who just happened to look like me, didn't have the right receipt, but told her a last name (obviously not my name) and that was all she needed to hand over my shoes. I dig in on this and ask more questions then all of a sudden her story changes and now the guy who fixes shoes probably has them. But it just so happens that this said person has a sick family and isn't anywhere to be found. Ironic right? I've been back there everyday this week and will continue to be a pain until I get a check for what they owe me or they call the D-bag that they generously hooked up and request that he/she return what doesn't belong to them. There are like 3 other places within a 1 mile radius that can get the job done and are trustworthy. Or.... if you're bored with your life and need some chaos to keep you on your toes... bring an expensive article of clothing hear and wait for the **** to hit the fan. Good luck. read more

Looking at previous reviews and just have to write one myself! I been coming here weekly for about 3 years, always nicely greated and treated. Both drycleaning and laundry always perfect handled and on time. When I need help, the owner pick up and deliver at home. It is ALWAYS a pleasure doing business here :) I can understand different customers have different experiances but not in this extent..... Some of the previous reviews are very unfair. don't go here! this store owner was very nice when i brought a bunch of alterations and dry cleaning into his store - but when he inexplicably lost 4 of my shirts and then had the nerve to yell at me, he lost my business. i will never go back to this horrible place - and i urge you to not patronize businesses who treat their customers terribly. read more
