DO NOT GO HERE! I took in two white sweaters with stains. They charged exorbitantly to remove the stains. Not only did they fail to remove any stains, they also made the color bleed on one of the beautiful vintage sweaters and ripped the collar, making it completely unwearable now. They did not even try to correct the color bleeding, and then I had to haggle just to get a partial refund... you would think they would give it on their own after messing up so bad. They actually did not even tell me they ripped the collar!! Will never be going back here and I highly advise people to take their clothes elsewhere. They will ruin your belongings and charge you for it! read more

Eco-friendly dry-cleaning? It's a bit expensive, but maybe I can do my part. Service here is friendly, prompt, and meticulous. Turnaround is timely. Pants and skirts are usually safety pinned to the hanger, which can be irksome when it's a finer fabric. When I bring in a sheath dress, it is returned to me on a structured cardboard dress form to maintain its shape. I bring my most delicate silks here, and they even got out a tomato stain! Prices seem to vary, and like other reviewers, I do wish they had a set menu/pricing, if not an itemized receipt. For my first order, they offered me a small pencil case. On another random occasion, they handed me a large, juicy Asian pear as I picked up my order. What fun! read more

They have their cleaning facilities on site and use special non-smelly chemicals. Every time I've gotten a jacket dry cleaned there they stuff the sleeves with paper to ensure it doesn't wrinkle. A little more expensive than other places, but definitely worth it if you want to make sure your clothes are dry cleaned properly. read more

I live about a few blocks away and been going to kerful cleaners for the last few years. I highly recommend this dry cleaners as the staff is extremely friendly and caring. Kind of rude and all about pleasing their own wallets. Made me wait at the end of the line because they thought I was the nanny. I had no idea why they made me wait, I thought maybe there was a problem with my order until they served me and told me that 'all the nannys come her for their bosses clothes, you need to carry out to your car, we no help with that for nanny". I usually go to this place because it is on my way to work. They are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than the other cleaners in town, though. Also, watch out for that part time lady. She'll add a few bucks to your bill if you're not watching the prices! They definitely do a good job. I like going here and the extra cost is OK. Convenient and friendly. I had written a poor review several months ago. They did try to compensate me by looking to replace my Helmut Lang top. I did not want a top from Ebay that was not my size so asked to be compensated for part of the cost. They agreed to that. However, they found the top shortly after that and returned it to me. I still did not feel I was compensated adequately for the pair of slacks that were lost, $50 for a $250 pair of wool slacks which were worn once. I am still debating whether I will return with my dry cleaning. I don't want to have to worry about my clothes every time I bring something in. They do a good job but I have taken things to another cleaners which turned out just as well. I wanted to post that they did try to make amends. I would recommend if you bring in expensive clothes that cannot be replaced to keep track of what you bring in with the prices you paid for. read more

From his car as he was leaving, the owner saw me in the parking lot with some shirts and a look of disappointment that they had closed. He took the shirts (thankfully they had my name on the inside so he could track them) and I picked them up a few days later. They are just a little pricey for laundering dress shirts (mostly what I do there) and it would be nice if they were open past 6pm. Overall, the owners and service are great. read more

We don't get a lot of dry cleaning done but when we do I am happy to drop into my neighborhood Kerful Cleaners. They get the job done, are friendly, and in the summer months I often leave with not just my dry cleaning but with the gift of a freshly picked cucumber from the beds that they maintain meticulously just outside their door - doing their bit to keep Saratoga both neighborly and green. read more

I had two pairs of men's pants cuffed. When I dropped them off they quoted $18, suggesting $9 each. When I picked them up five days later they charged me $36 for the two pairs. Cuffing a pair of pants takes about five minutes! This place is way over-priced! Just straight shortening of the leg lengths. Nothing fancy. The job was okay, but what can go wrong with just cutting and sewing the pant legs? Next time I will find someone else. read more

Years ago (pre-Yelp) I used this dry cleaning company for everything, including expensive gowns and other fine articles of clothing. Due to the volume of items I would bring in, and the high costs of their services, my dry cleaning bill was always very high. I never minded so long as the items were properly cleaned and cared for. The customer service was always just "ok," (at least one of the women was always more worried about herself than anything else), but what was most important to me was truly the good quality of the dry cleaning. Let's face it, there is nothing worse in terms of your wardrobe than your favorite top/jacket/etc. being unwearable due to a stain of some sort. Well, as it goes sometimes, there came the day when items were missing from an order and, unfortunately, a particularly expensive item was irreparably damaged due to their cleaning services. As I had been a long-time, steady customer, I just assumed we would be able to sort it all out and move on. I could not have been more wrong. In fact, they never ever did anything to make this right with me, blaming me for buying the one item in the first place, and then trying to replace my missing items by insisting that some other person's items were the ones I had brought in with my order (this was not at all realistic as the sizes were all completely off from my own!). The more I tried to resolve the situation in a friendly manner, the more unfriendly they became. I was shocked as the formerly very average service actually turned downright hostile as I graciously tried to offer solutions. They were the ones who had lost/damaged my property! In the end, I just walked away from the whole thing, recognizing that there are more important things in life than dealing with bad business people and trying to get them to do the right thing. I have since realized that there are far superior dry cleaning service businesses locally who actually appreciate their loyal clientele. Although I have not been back to "Kerful" (ha ha ha, that's a joke), I know others who have had similar bad experiences more recently, and who have also gone elsewhere for better quality and service. Save yourself the headaches and do the same. read more
