The quality of the work was very poor: stitches were all over the place; double stitches in different places; they even missed to stitch some areas of my husband's jeans... unfortunately my husband did not check the quality when he picked up the order. they charged us $40! Pros- I was able to get my dry cleaning back the next day. Cons- Of the 6 dress shirts, 4 of them I had to re-iron. Some of the shirts that I needed to iron again had a big crease in them that ironing didn't help. Pair of pants had buttons missing. The suit jacket had a big crease on the sleeve. Will not go here again. I came here because I'm new to the area and the reviews seemed good. I will look for a new cleaner for my weekly items. As a side note, I love dogs and I have one of my own. When I arrived tot he location, the owners dogs were sitting on the counter and the other one running around the store.As some of my clients and friends are allergic to dogs, I would not recommend them here. read more

Secondly, I beg to differ, you do not always repair tears in your work because the dress in question did not have tears when I brought it in to you. And when I brought it back, I thought that you would repair in at no charge....but you charged me for the repair. The woman said that she could not be responsible! So.....NO I will not go back. I am a wary veteran of dry cleaners as I have had bad experiences in the past with clothes that were destroyed, lost or had buttons missing that were not missing originally. I must say that Bascom Best Cleaners is "the best". I have been using them for 31/2 years now and they do a terrific job...no missing buttons, all stains removed, beautiful pressing, all clothes returned in a timely fashion. They can even do drapes and bed spreads. Parking is easy as they usually have spots right in front. Dogs may greet you from behind the desk...they are super cute but they sometimes bark so be prepared! I really like the place and I am glad they are right in my neighborhood! read more

Been going here for 6 years. Good experience until 6 mos ago. Then Kim hired some new employees and they're clueless. They lost 1 shirt and gave me a hard time about giving a refund. Finally gave the refund and I decided to stay with them as they're close to my home. Then they lost a second shirt...in asking where it might be they started fishing for ones that "might" be my lost shirt, literally pulling shirts from other racks and guessing! I don't understand how shirts get lost unless there's they're quite disorganized- Unless you're OK donating 20% of your shirts avoid this place! read more

Just got my stuff and VERY disappointed. I used to be a loyal client. I brought bunch of things to clean.... As a result: it looks like almost all things were not cleaned at all, just steamed: all stains are in place! They lost a belt from my dress and one pair of pants is missing in the returned items. I am so overjoyed by the customer service at this cleaners. I've been looking for a trustworthy cleaners in the area since I had a bad experience at another store and have finally found it in Bascom Best Cleaners. I dropped off an important dress and failed to pick it up before Sunday, when I needed it, but they are closed Sunday. I emailed and left a message for the proprietors Saturday night and heard back first thing in the morning. They opened the store for me on Sunday and were extremely kind and helpful.
