I have an expensive 8X10 rug from Kazakstan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After talking to Rose, I allowed them to wash it. What a mistake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After it came back, the rug is a different color in the places where they scrubbed it more than other places and a week later the rug still stinks of chemicals. I picked Rose Rug Cleaners as their website described the multi step process they take to clean rugs. They take your rugs away, which makes sense to me. How good a job can be done if the folks clean your rugs at the house? How would they dry properly? Anywaaaay. I am so glad we went with Rose. Sam and another worker picked up rugs and returned them 2 weeks later, working w our schedule. The 3 rugs they cleaned look FABULOUS! We called and got an estimate to clean our Oriental rug. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner arrived, provide an estimate and answered all of our questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He noticed the casters used for the couch legs sitting on the rug were the wrong type. After showing the marks left by the casters, he told us we could get the correct type at Home Depot. The owner also showed us spots on the underside of the rug where the stitching had come loose. After cleaning and stitching repairs were completed, the owner returned, moved the furniture and reinstalled the rug using the new casters in 30 minutes. Excellent job and price. read more

We bought a large rug for our dining room in 1991...and hadn't had it cleaned since then. Lots of dinners, parties and receptions meant the odd red wine and food stain. We had the rug washed, and the red wine stains vanished. When it was installed again (180 degrees rotated, to even out the wear and sun exposure) I was SO impressed. It looked new again! We opted for a new rug pad as well, which seems to grip the rug and prevent bunching. We're really happy with the service, as well as the expert advice. read more

He came and retrieved my large, room size Persian rug and a smaller Afghani rug for cleaning and moth treatment (I had a moth infestation from a box I brought into my home from a storage unit). Sam, the business owner, called us back in less than 15 minutes and quoted us a price pending visual observation of the rugs. The price quoted was very reasonable so we asked Sam to come take a look. Sam and his helper came to our house, measured the rugs and confirmed the price which was reasonable. They rolled the rugs and took them to the shop. In two weeks, they brought them back to our house and put spread them in their rooms. The rugs were so clean and looked like brand new. We have a couple more rugs that we are planning on having Rose Rug Cleaning and Repairs clean for us in the near future. I want to add my voice to the chorus of praise for this small business. We have a very large wool rug that was stinking up our house, thanks to various pet incidents. After trying various home remedies to clean it, including renting a rug doctor and buying several expensive cleaning agents that did virtually nothing, I finally decided to bite the bullet and get it and our other rugs professionally cleaned. Based on recommendations from friends I contacted Rose. Sam, the owner, gave me a very reasonable quote and came to pick the rugs up himself. He recommended repairing the binding on the large rug and said they could also repair the very damaged fringe on small Tibetan rug - I was skeptical that it would help much but decided to go ahead with the repairs. He also said that with urine stains the cleaning would cost a bit more since they wash 2x and use more cleaning agent, but I felt that was fair. It took several weeks to get our rugs back but it was *so* worth it! The repaired rugs look absolutely like new, and the smell is completely gone. Very glad we did it, and highly recommend! read more
