Came here for my birthday celebration for the first time, and the restaurant's decor is so cute! I loved the dim lighting when walking in and the overall relaxed vibe of the place. We ordered the cheesesteak rolls to start, and I had to try the popular Bubble Bliss drink. When the drink arrived, the waitress made the experience even more exciting by infusing the bubble right on top of it. Shortly after, our appetizer arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the rolls were, as we weren't quite sure what to expect from a cheesesteak roll. When our entrées arrived, every single one of us enjoyed what we ordered, so we decided to share with one another. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. At the end of our meal, I was offered a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a thoughtful touch and a great way to end the evening. Overall, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. First time visit, for a weekend lunch to celebrate my birthday. Pros: Food was mostly good, with one big exception (see below). We had the fried calamari appetizer and it was delicious, not greasy at all and had fried green beans and onions mixed in. Wife loved her grilled salmon entree. We both enjoyed our cocktails as well. Service was fairly good overall, although it took a long time before our server came to take our order and service was just all around slow. Very friendly though. Cons: My entree was not good. Ordered the pappardelle with short rib ragu. This was NOT a ragu as it is commonly known, it was more of a cream sauce with some meat in it. The pasta was swimming in cream. And I hate cream sauce. I never would have ordered it had the menu description said it was a cream sauce. The server offered to make me another entree but I did not want to wait another 30 minutes so I choked down what I had. Value is not good. The burger is $20, for example. Prices are a bit too high for the experience you are getting. Verdict: We may be back, as 2/3 of the food was quite good, they just failed on my pasta dish. But it's pricey, so who knows. Meeting a friend for lunch, we decided to come to Rose Park Bistro. It was a warm day so we opted to sit inside, but they also have outdoor and patio seating. To start, we split an order of the calamari. It had good flavor, but was a tad bit chewier than I would have liked. For my entrée, I ordered the beet salad. The salad was delicious and was plated beautifully. All in all, the menu has a nice variety of small plates to share and various dishes for every palate. read more

Came here for a birthday dinner with a group of 15. I ordered the Lobster Bucatini and a soda water, and the food was honestly amazing. Everyone at the table loved their meals. The only downside was the service. It seemed like our large party was a little overwhelming. We had multiple servers, drinks were taken before people were finished with them more than once, and my soda water was never refilled. Service was also a bit slow. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been here three times this week, and Rose Park Bistro is still one of my favorite places to eat in Roseville. Every visit has been consistently amazing. I especially love their house made soups, which are always fresh, flavorful, and comforting. My favorite drink is the Queen Bee it's delicious and beautifully presented every time. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and perfect for anything from date night to happy hour with friends. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Their happy hour menu offers great options at reasonable prices, making it easy to keep coming back. So make sure to seat at the bar for the deals. It's rare to find a restaurant that makes me want to visit multiple times in the same week, but Rose Park Bistro has definitely earned that distinction. I will start off by saying they have one of the best social/happy hours. And their drinks are 10/10. I do wish I had taken additional pictures of my drinks and food. Their drink menu can change from time to time. I have visited a handful of times and have never left disappointed. I've tried their Queen Bee (delicious), La Vida - also so good! My husband is a fan of whiskey and they have an exceptional variety available. Their classic Rose Park Old Fashion did not disappoint. As for food, we have yet to have an actual dinner entree. But we did have some yummy chicken skewers, Brussel sprout chips, grilled asparagus, truffle fries, meatballs. All delicious. Never have I ever been to so many ahhoy hours within the span of two days! Although I enjoyed every one of them in their own way, wow what a beauty with the Rose Park Bistro. My cousin talked about this establishment reminding her and her husband of something in SF and its's something I could totally see. I loved how every few minutes there was a sparkler drink popping out. I think this would be so fun for a birthday or just any celebration. I was set to do one dessert but my cousin suggested we do three! I checked out Rose Park Bistro in Roseville last night for my best friend's birthday dinner. Rose Park Bistro is located on the outside of the Galleria and parking can be an issue during busy times. We made a reservation for 6:30pm and it was still very busy especially for a Sunday when we arrived. They seated us at a cozy table in a corner which felt private and intimate. I loved the interior - it was modern, but still felt inviting. There were tons of tables throughout and even a large eye-catching bar! I had a hard time deciding on what to order, but eventually landed on the Seafood Paella which I thought was pretty good. It was actually my first time having Paella and I didn't have anything to compare it to, but I do know it is supposed to have the crust on the bottom which it did not - it had more of a risotto texture. The rest of the table ordered the Pan Roasted Prawns, Char-Grilled Artichoke Hearts, Ribeye with Potatoes and Broccoli and Pan Roasted Half Chicken. Everyone loved their meals - 3 of us also ordered Dirty Martinis which were top-notch especially with the blue cheese stuffed olives! Heavenly! The restaurant also did a fun birthday celebration with a huge firework candle and a yummy raspberry cheesecake dessert for my best friend - on the house! My only complaint of the evening was our server - she was a bit rude at times and not just to us, but to another employee who was assisting her. She just was not very friendly and seemed to have a bit of an attitude whenever we asked her a question. We were not a fan and it almost affected her tip unfortunately. Overall, I really liked Rose Park Bistro - I would definitely come back next time I am in Roseville! December 20, 2025: 3rd re-visit since my 2024 review. Tuesday night dinner. My birthday! Impromptu reservation. Easily got a 5:30pm table. Servers were all gracious, friendly, efficient, nice. Timing for drinks and food was perfect. Fall salad with all the various ingredients was enjoyable. We shared. Each of our portions was plenty big. I got lamb chops. Bambie got branzino. Verdict? Great food! We loved their pasta dishes. Perfect level of creaminess and full of flavor. Their roasted chicken was moist and great portion. Loved their appetizers as well, the artichokes with pesto, the beet salad and calamari were all delicious. We didn't care for their paella. Took my dad here for Father's Day not knowing he'd already been here multiple times, but he loved the food here. We started with the burrata which was delicious. Loved the sweetness and creaminess on the crostini. I personally ordered the mushroom risotto and killed my plate. It was honestly so good. Wish it was a touch creamier, but flavors and texture wise it was great. My fiance and dad both killed their steak and burger, so I'm safely assuming they loved their dishes as well. We went for a cocktail one early evening. The place was empty--we figured it was the time of the day. The bar is very nice. Stocked with premium liquors and lots of chairs to sit in. We had the soup of the day for starters which was a zucchini soup I believe. That was good! Nice flavor. We also ordered the artichokes dish and beet salad. Both small bites. That's where it went downhill. The beet salad appeared to be premixed ahead of time with the dressing. Why do I say that. Because the lettuce was wilted as though it had been sitting in the dressing too long! Haha Overall, the flavor of the dressing was good, and I liked nuts added, but wilted salad is not enjoyable. The beets were unique, as they had a type of creamed cheese (not cream cheese) in between the beets. I prefer just beets but it wasn't the worst. The wilted salad was the worst. Next the grilled artichokes. Not grilled and definitely not fresh. Came out of a can for sure! Watery. There was a pesto base on the bottom which was not necessary. Salty and took away the fresh (canned) flavor of the choke. It had sliced radishes which should have been pickled red onions instead for better flavor. In my opinion, But the sliced radishes were not consistently cut so some were big and others thin. It didn't go because those too felt a little "old." Flavor was not fresh and you know how a radish taste when it's not fresh. However, even if it was fresh, I just feel a pickled red onion would've been better. Total for 3 Glasses of wine, 2 soups, artichoke dish and the beet salad--$87. I guess stopping in for a cocktail is still Something I would do! Maybe try the soup again! But if small bites disappoint not sure how the main meal will fair out And at a higher price point. read more

From the moment we arrived, The hostess Alley recognized us and made sure we were seated at our favorite table in the back room by the wine cellar--a thoughtful touch that never goes unnoticed. We had a wonderful conversation about their Napa and Sonoma offerings, which added such a personal and elevated touch to the evening. He took the time to talk about his menu and the seasonal ingredients he sources, which made the experience feel even more special. Our table was up against the wall, which isn't our favorite type of seating, but it still worked and didn't take away from the experience. You cannot possible miss it. The longest bar top I have ever encountered. Dramatic and classy. Trendy. And lots of fun. Lunch with three friends on another occasion. The meal was a standout. We were seated at a table for four in a sophisticated area of the restaurant. We were able to leisurely dine while enjoying conversation amongst ourselves. Mostly about how fantastic the food was! Lastly, a lazy Sunday early evening dinner outside on the patio. Sooo very relaxing with exceptionally well prepared food. One thing I know for sure. Customer service matches and is totally in sync with the high quality food items. Upper tier staff and service from walking in the door to dining and walking out the door. I have been to Rose Park a few times, so my daughter and I went mid-week to see if she was interested in having her upcoming birthday there with a few of her girlfriends. Unfortunately, the experience was subpar and we ran into a variety of issues - overall delay in someone acknowledging our table (they were not busy), a delay in getting out cocktails to us (appetizer came out prior to our cocktails, yet we ordered the cocktails first), allergy issue with the entree she ordered (it did not specify that it contained tomatoes on the menu). Our server was unapologetic about any of the issues. He did offer to allow her to order a new entree, but we needed a menu to see options and then he proceeded to leave our table and wait on two others tables before he brought her back a menu. It was an overall poor experience, especially for the price point. So, so ended up taking her initial entree to go (for me to eat later, since she was unable to) and headed across the way to Zocolo for appetizers and more prompt cocktails. We had tried the chef's appetizer at the Tower Bridge Dinner recently and knew we had to come and try the restaurant. It's always a tough decision to try a new place for a celebration and I was happy that it turned out to be a great choice. We started with the burrata on crostini, the big brother of the appetizer we tried, and it did not disappoint. Lots of yummy burrata and deliciousness, drizzled with a fig basalmic. A generous portion that we could have easily shared with another couple. For our main course, I had the mushroom risotto which looked small but was quite a good portion, perfectly cooked. My husband was torn between the filet mignon and the burger, which sounded amazing, but our waiter luckily steered him towards the filet and he loved it. A nice portion, perfectly cooked medium rare. When we checked in they came with a little sign that said happy birthday, which was a nice touch. And the final birthday dessert was served with an amazing flourish, a sparkler! My only feedback was that for dessert my husband wanted the sticky toffee pudding, and instead we got the chocolate lava cake. I don't know if that is their automatic birthday choice? It was good (plus free!) and he didn't want to complain, so we didn't say anything. It did bug me and I wish I had said something then - I am sure they would have fixed it and I would have happily paid for it. Speaking of paying, I thought the prices were very reasonable for this caliber of restaurant. Lately it feels like we can't have a fine dining meal for under $200 and this was well under that. The place itself is beautiful - certainly not what I expect from a Roseville strip mall restaurant. It had more downtown/Vegas vibes. This was an incredible and lovely place!! The food was amazing I started off with the Caesar salad and it was fresh crispy with the perfect amount of dressing a great start! I also tried out their filet I enjoy it medium well and it was cooked beautifully really tender juicy and packed with flavor! I really enjoyed the dish I could not get enough. For dessert I tried the chocolate lava cake a la mode and it was soooo amazing rich chocolatey with a hot oozy center that was balanced by vanilla ice cream which had a creamy and smooth flavor! I love the look of the bar and the dim lighting makes the experience feel upscale. I enjoyed the Seafood paella as my main, Calamari as an appetizer, and my partner liked the lamb chop. Portions were large. Personally, I felt that the paella was the best bang for your buck. Prices are fairly steep and the paella had a nice amount of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. Con - food was a little pricey and it was just okay to decent. I got the paella. It was a good size. However the taste and texture was ordinary. It wasn't particularly flavorful, I felt like it was a little moist. The seafood was a little overcooked. I had a taste of my other friend's dishes - roast chicken (okay), branzino (okay), lobster bucatini (pasta texture was good, but a bit salty). We were going to order the ravioli but at $22 for 3 pieces it seemed pricey. We received a complementary lava cake as it was one of the friend's birthday. It's massive and comfortable to sit at. The food is full of surprises. For example, there's a teriyaki skirt steak that's a must-have. It's not your usually wet teriyaki steak, but rather teriyaki marinaded and infused, which goes well with the mashed potatoes they give you. They also give you a bunch of fried onions which give it crunch and texture. There's a lobster pasta dish, a hamburger, and a filet mignon entree that are all worthwhile. Take a good look at the appetizers too. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are tasty with that dipping sauce they provide. Also the calamari is full of surprises--namely fried onions and green beans. One of the best calamari dishes I've had. The place gets busy and they close early, so if you push up against the close, you'll see the staff hustling to keep up. Water was delivered to the table immediately and we were offered a choice of still or sparkling. Still was just fine. I ordered one of the Old Barrel Manhattan cocktails and OMG was it ever good. Made to perfection. After getting cocktails we got an appetizer of calamari to share. Fresh and only lightly breaded it was delicious and so well prepared. It came with a well made aoili and some onions and herbs to dress it up. We all loved it. For my entree I tried the Lobster Bucatini. Also, beautifully prepared and presented. It had a light red cream sauce and small prawns and peppers to mix in with it. The large lobster tail sat on top with the lobster meat extracted in the cut opening. It was very good quality lobster, yet I have had better. It was a bit rubbery and chewy. However, I wasn't about to complain as it was satisfying enough. The pasta itself was extraordinary. So fresh and absolutely top quality. I enjoyed the sauce with just a slight kick. I got a glass of white wine with it and it was perfect. We ordered two desserts, one chocolate and one pistachio. The pistachio knocked it out in being tops. OK, this place ranks at the top of the list for good restaurants in this area. I reserved Valentine's Day dinner at Rose Park Bistro several weeks in advance, expecting a standard dining experience. Only the day before my reservation did the restaurant call to announce they would be offering exclusively a fixed three-course menu at $92 per person, excluding alcohol. This critical detail was never disclosed at the time of booking. Only offering a mandatory holiday menu and premium pricing with virtually no notice is, quite frankly, poor practice. By that point, obtaining another reservations was no longer realistically an option. The price itself is not the central issue. The failure lies in withholding essential information until the last moment. Transparency is a basic expectation in hospitality, especially for special occasions. I had been wanting to try this place for a while now. I can finally cross it off the list but maybe add it to the regulars. I got the queen bee cocktail and it was pretty good. It was a bit on the sweeter side and and glass was extremely sticky but still decent. I got the papardelle pasta and the teriyaki steak. I liked my pasta. The teriyaki steak was a big hit. Their old fashioned with the pistachio foam was also interesting, I love the green furniture. The bathrooms however need something done in there. The ceilings I'm assuming used to have flowers or something on them. You go from being in a romantic vibe to what happened in here. Cute lunch or date spot for sure. read more

We had a very nice meal this evening at Rose Park Bistro! Bests: My husband ordered the Strawberry Fields and really enjoyed it- sweet and strong. I had the Mango mocktail which was tart and refreshing. My husband also ordered an espresso martini with dessert which was strong both in alcohol and coffee! Our Burrata on crostini appetizer was delicious- crispy, creamy, sweet, acidic - a wonderful combination of flavors. My husband ordered the short rib pasta and it was incredibly tasty. Homemade pasta, cream sauce and super tender short ribs. Also we had very attentive service throughout and felt very taken care of. Least best: I ordered the burger medium and it came medium well/almost well done. The flavor of the burger was yummy- in particular the bourbon bacon jam. The truffle fries were pretty standard - definitely needs something other than ketchup to dip. The key lime pie was a really small portion for $12. Really like three bites per person. Also, the crust tasted stale and rubbery; not buttery and short. I think we will be back in the future to try some other things in the future! read more

Came in on a Monday evening to celebrate 2 birthdays. Had made reservations ahead of time, so seating wasn't an issue. Everything we ate was delicious and didn't have anything negative except that we wished our stomachs were bigger! It was nice inside, they had outside seating available. Felt very fancy sitting inside. It was quiet for the most part, considering how many people were sat inside. Every once in a while, you discover a restaurant that's so good you just have to tell others about it. Rose Park Bistro is one of those places. We had dinner the other night with some friends visiting from out of state and wanted to try someplace new. Our daughter suggested Rose Park Bistro in the Fountains Shopping Center (1017 Galleria Blvd., Suite 160, Roseville), across from Dave & Buster's--and we're so glad she did! What a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and outstanding service. Our server told us Rose Park Bistro has been open for about three years, and after one visit, it's easy to see why it has developed such a great reputation. We started with two appetizers that were absolutely delicious: the Smoked BBQ Short Rib Sliders and the Burrata served on crisp crostini with fig jam, balsamic reduction, truffle honey, Turkish apricots, crushed pistachios, and fresh basil. Every bite was beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. For dinner, our table enjoyed: * Red Wine Braised Short Ribs with red pearl onions, Thumbelina carrots, Parmesan mashed potatoes, and a rich bordelaise sauce. * Pan-Roasted Half Chicken served with truffled mushroom dashi poured over it, sautéed mushrooms, fingerling potatoes, red pearl onions, Thumbelina carrots, and asparagus. * Sacchetti, delicate handmade pasta filled with cheese and pear, finished with toasted almonds and a creamy Gorgonzola sauce. We did think the serving size was extremely inadequate for being an entrée and thought the restaurant should increase the price and serving size. To top off an already outstanding meal, we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. It was the perfect ending to an exceptional dinner. If you're looking for a restaurant for a special occasion--or simply want to enjoy an outstanding meal in a relaxed, upscale setting--I highly recommend giving Rose Park Bistro a try. Love their Beet Salad and the burger is a definite go-to. Burrata on crostini is also good but who doesn't love a good burrata? :) Salmon dish was only so-so. Chocolate lava cake was nice. Bubble Bliss is a pleaser with the smokey bubble! Service has always been great and ambiance is on point! One of our local faves. read more
