Rosedale helped me out with an urgent repair for LG refrigerator. Tom (I think he is the owner) scheduled a service call promptly and assigned a technican to diagnose the problem - technician was knowledgeable and ordered the parts promptly. The worst. Tried to Charged $95.00 for service call covered under warranty. Then lied and said it was an electrical problem with the house. Hired electrician and he said no the dish washer is shorted out, and proved it. They don't call the night or day of service, we waited all day, no show. Called Tom the owner and he said " yea we got kinda busy, maybe tomorrow." What the hell I took a day off work. THE WORST! Don't use. read more

Like many on this list, no one showed up. I called Tom for an appointment and he told me he put me on the list for the next day and that the tech would call me before heading my way. At 3pm, nothing so I called him. He said he hadn't heard from his guy and I was still on the list so they were going to be here. End of day came by, no one. Next day, no call, no one. It's been 5 days. I called someone right away that first evening after reading about similar experiences on Google. I wish the guy was just honest and could tell me if he can't come or does not want to do the job for some reason. read more

I am very dissatisfied with Rosedale Appliance. I had a scheduled appointment for between 1-3 and at 3:30 no one had showed. No one had called me either. I called them and the owner said "our repairman just completed a job and it took longer than expected. He will call you when he's on his way." 5 o'clock his, still. I word and no one at my house. I again call and the owner says "he might be done for the day, but he still may call you." At this point, I had already taken the day off from work for no one to come to my house. Only giving 1 star because I cannot give ZERO. We bought an LG refrigerator in 2013, unfortunately reliability is not one of it's features. Luckily we also purchased an extended warranty (through CPS). In 2016 the compressor went south, warranty company dispatched Rosedale Service, their tech came to look at fridge (he spent a whole 5-min at most) and incorrectly assumed the primary circuit board was faulty. It took 7 days to have them put the wrong part in, then another 14 days for them to get it right. 20 days without a fridge because the tech didn't bother to check the compressor, in the middle of one of the hottest Julys on record, just plain sucks. Fast-forward to 2017, compressor fails again, called same warranty company, forwarded request to same Rosedale Service.... their tech's are still not exactly good at what they do, instead of scheduling an appointment they spent several days calling us 15-minutes prior to showing up at our house. 15-MINUTES!!!! Unfortunately, when it we were more than 15 minutes away they went on their merry way. We finally got them to look at the fridge they diagnosed it as a faulty compressor. After 5 days with no updates I called Rosedale, the guy hemmed and hawed and said they were waiting for a response from the warranty company to approve the quote. The next day I called the warranty company, and low and behold, CPS NEVER RECEIVED A QUOTE FROM ROSEDALE! How are they supposed to approve a quote that doesn't exist? To top it all off, the Rosedale tech admitted that this compressor failed because their tech had installed it incorrectly last time around... Do not hire. read more

Keep Away. Don't know if they know their stuff. They never showed. I made an appointment 4 weeks in advance. They never showed the day of the appointment (I was home the whole day) When I called the old man didn't know why and said "He always does this. How about tomorrow?" Fine, tomorrow. Again, never showed and never called. When I called an asked where he was the same guy, said he didn't know. He never calls. I'd buy a brand new dishwasher before I ever use or recommend these jokers. read more

Awful customer service. My Bosch dishwasher digital read out gave an error code which the repair technician misread and installed the wrong part. The part was covered under warranty but the labor charge (for about 20 mins of service) was $230. After the technician left my home, the dishwasher continued to show an error code. Rosedale Appliance Repair wants to charge an additional $140 to install a new part. This cost is to cover the part (which Bosch claims to costs only $95). When I called to schedule this repair pre-COVID they stated the the repair would cost $125. This company makes poor repair and overcharges. I would not recommend this company at all. I am out $230 and still have a broken dishwasher. read more

HORRIBLE. Use ANY other company for repairs. Do not waste your time with Rosedale. Was told I was first on the list for the next day, no one showed up. No phone calls, so I called them and was told I'd hear back from the owner by the end of the day letting me know what was going on...no phone call. So I called back, and was told I couldn't get a repair until almost a full week later. The owner kept saying the repairman not showing up "wasn't his problem". I called on Monday morning to make an appointment. The earliest appt. I could get was Thursday. I was told that if I called after 8:30 am on Thursday, they could tell me what time to expect the technician. I called and was told to expect the technician that morning. At 2:00 pm, I called again and was told that someone was coming and would call me when they finished the previous job. I called again at 4:30 pm and was told that I must have not answered the phone when the tech called so he went on to the next job. The fact is, I was here all day waiting and even answered three spam calls just in case it was the tech. I also have call waiting. The bottom line is the tech didn't call and isn't coming. I've been waiting four days to get my range fixed and I'm back to square one. Thanks, Rosedale! read more

Came out twice to fix an LG steam front load washer that was leaking. Thank God for the internet where you can look up almost anything! Most times, the leak is due to the tub seal. Well, first time out they couldn't find the leak and replaced some other part $300+. Washer still leaked. Next time out (I suppose maybe they signed up for internet service), they replaced the tub seal (another $$$300++)! Washer still had a tiny leak, but not all the time. After moving the washer outside, taking it apart and extending a couple of garden hoses to give it a 'dry run' while apart and outside, the leak was obvious. There was lint caught in the small hose connecting the tub seal to the drain. It must have been like this for some time as it was OBVIOUS from the residue and water stains 1) where the leak was occurring and 2) what could and should have been done the first time to fix it. Also, while cleaning and replacing the hose, I noticed a small puncture in the "new" tub seal. It must've been done on the installation because I witnessed the guy fighting with the retaining ring for over 30 minutes, not having the correct tool. Long story short... clean lint from hose and basket: $0; new tub seal from amazon: $75; 'other shoppers also bought' recommendation: tub ring tool $9. and I did the work, fixed the leak and learned what rip-off Rosedale Service is for under $100 in under an hour. Stay away! I complained on deaf ears. In the very least, they could've waived the labor on the first visit with incorrect diagnostic, or applied to the next service call... but nothing! read more

They came to fix my dryer and broke it - it sounds like it has rocks in it now. Called the owner and he wouldn't give me a refund. Argued with me. Horrible horrible horrible!!!!!! read more

Bad service. Waited on someone to show all afternoon, never came. Called the next day and got no apology, Tom says they get busy and that if we don't get a phone call beforehand, they won't be there. So, an appointment is not an appointment, unless they are actually available. Don't take off work for this repair service! read more

Prompt service to repair an old sears dishwasher. The unit was located in a tight kitchen configuration. Total cost for parts and labor was $275. Highly recommended. read more

Will charge you $95 to visit and than demand you pay $50 more since they had to remove the dishwasher out to check the problem. Really!!! I should charge you since you spoke to me on the phone and than try to figure out if I need you to come in. Total rip off. Be sure you agree on the price before you call them in. read more

My experience with Rosedale Services was nothing short of horrendous. I was given their information directly from LG after a minor mishap with my new washing machine. I explained what needed to be fixed, they confirmed what needed to be ordered and we decided on a date of service. I was fortunate enough to be able to work from home on that day so as to be able to let them in. I was told I could call in the morning on the day of to get a better estimate of the time (2-4pm). However as 4:00 passed with no communication, I called to see what the story was. I was told a service from the morning was taking longer than expected and that he didn't have an estimate on when my washing machine would be serviced (?). I spent the entire day waiting to be told today would not be the day. When I called later in the evening to get a better estimate on when we could reschedule, I was essentially told that "warrantee jobs don't pay much". The fact that this company is contracted through LG confuses me. I'm still amazed that a business owner would speak to a customer in such a manner. After calling 3-5 times to reschedule I was greeted with their voicemail. I promptly called LG to schedule with another contractor. Please do not waste your time with Rosedale Services. read more
