They came out and fixed my washer and it came with a warranty in case anything else happens afterwards.

Had exactly what I needed at a fair price. Will definitely be going back for any appliance parts needs.

What a refreshing thing to have the tech suggest a way to save money, based on the way we use, or in this case, don't use a functionality of the oven.

I purchased washer and dryer from BigCentric this past summer. What had brought me into the store…read morewas the sale price of a front-load LG washer and dryer pair. When comparing prices, BigCentric's price was about $300 less for each unit than the exact same units at The Home Depot and Lowe's, which were also supposedly on sale at those stores. I had recently moved into a new condo, and the salesperson was familiar with my condo development. Given what the salesperson knew of the condo development and the space limitations that sometimes existed there, he thought that the LG units that were on sale were the best bet. There was no attempt to get me to upgrade to more expensive units. Additionally there was no attempt to get me to purchase an extended warranty on the units. In fact, there was no mention of an extended warranty at all! I was further impressed, however, when they followed up with me after the delivery of the units. My condo, indeed, has a very tight space to fit the units in, and the delivery people who installed the units were relatively new to the job. BigCentric phoned me to ask me how the installation went. They offered to send their experienced installers to come and take a look to make sure that everything was done correctly, which occurred within the next several days. The more experienced guys did find something that had not been taken care of during the initial installation, and they corrected it. The staff at the store is totally professional, and everyone seems to have a genuine concern that the customer is completely satisfied. When it comes to buying appliances in the future, I will not even think about shopping anywhere else.

I had called ahead to ask whether the models I wanted to see were in stock and was told they were, but when I arrived, they weren't. Instead, I was told to go see them at National Appliance Warehouse and then come back because they would price match. That struck me as very unprofessional. It seemed like they were using other companies as their showroom because they didn't actually have what they advertised on display. I also noticed several older models being presented as if they were new. I could be mistaken, but that was the impression I got. One thing that really stood out to me was that it appeared one of the refrigerators on the showroom floor was being used to store an employee's lunch. Maybe that particular refrigerator wasn't actually for sale, but it wasn't marked as such, so it gave the impression that the display appliances were being used by employees. I could be wrong, but that was honestly how it looked to me. The delivery times were also much longer than expected. When it came time to place an order, I found out the appliance would actually be shipped from another company rather than directly from them. That made the entire process feel like they were brokering the sale instead of selling inventory they actually had. Several of the appliances also had small nicks, dents, and marks, yet they were not labeled as scratch-and-dent items. In the end, they didn't earn my business. Buyers should do their homework before purchasing and make sure the products they're expecting to see are actually available before making the trip.

My suggestion is Home Depot or Lowes across the street, prices are similar if not lower. I wanted to support a small appliance company, in this case my mistake!!!

So they left, and partially put the "new" dishwasher in the spot. 2 weeks later they come back, no one knows what is going on, and they "install" the dishwasher, and when I go to use it and there are dishes in it-it falls forward and slams into my counter- no one ever secured, it so now it bangs back and forth. I called left a message. No one calls for a week, after 2 calls. Then it starts leaking. They blame it on me, and say they can't do anything about it. They can send someone out a (third) time. I ask to talk to the manager multiple times and he is conveniently -every single time and can't ever call back. This won't be the only negative post I put up. I want everyone to know- NEVER buy from here

It pains me to have to give this review because my first impression of John's Home Appliance Center…read morewas initially very positive-allow me to explain. My dryer had been serviced earlier in 2024 by another service contractor and had been working for about 5 months until I started having issues with the unit's heating element not working. I wanted to use my original contractor but since it was the the last week of December he was out of town and I was desperate. I called John's Appliance and honestly the woman who took my call gave me excellent customer service..she was empathetic and she actually knew the model of the dryer I had and made sure that I would get a service call as soon as possible in the new year. And her service person did come out as we had discussed..even if he was a bit late. He was cordial and at the time I thought he had fixed the issue; he said that I needed to have a new heating element installed. When he installed it he said that it would work but that it because it was on older model the heating wouldn't be as strong..I found that to be a little odd but I was grateful that it was working so I gladly wrote my check for $270 and resumed my life. Well.. the dryer once again conked out less than 3 weeks later and I did call John's back again..since I was still under repair warranty (30 days) the same young man came back out and re-tested the dryer unit and then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't find anything wrong with the dryer but that I may need to get an electrician because he thought there was something wrong with my outlet output. Umm..what? At this point I called my original service guy who was back from holiday and asked if he could come and look at the dryer. When I called John's Home Appliance Center to let them know that I was going to use another service repair contractor and asked if they could please provide me with the parts they replaced so that I could let my service repair guy know what they did the same woman who had been so wonderful with me put me on hold AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME. They had my contact information; they knew what I was looking for and they never called me back. To make matters worse my service guy figured out why my dryer wasn't working..the heating element that was replaced was replaced INCORRECTLY which was why there wasn't the appropriate heat transfer..which meant that I had to replace the whole heating element AGAIN..but this time I had Dennis from Hawkins Service Repair do it and do it correctly..with the right parts..instead of a sub par repair job from John's. I expected so much better from this business..and it's just really disappointing to experience un-professionalism like this. If you want repair done right with experience then please do yourself a favor and call Hawkins Repair in PA-ask for Dennis..the man is knowledgeable, no-nonsense and will get it done RIGHT.

The appliance was determined by JAC to be faulty at which time they advised that I would receive a full refund. The story was then changed to the manufacturer would have to refund me. This lead to months of calls and excuses from the office personnel at Johns. It is now Nov. 2021 and still no refund. The rude girl Alex in the office just informed me that she has been patient enough with me! She refused to put the owner on the phone and hung up. I'll see John in small claims court.
