Cute spot to catch up with the book club girlies, drink some wine and unwind. The plants add the vibes

I couldn't have found a better spot. Susanna, Fitch and Sierra and Jules - absolutely fabulous staff and so attentive. Now on to the food and drink - excellent and happy hour is a slam dunk. Look at my $8 HH food sampler. I'll be back !

What's not to love about this hipster/artsy watering hole w/ a petite albeit good snack menu?! With indoor and outdoor seating, this dog friendly place allows your canine friend to join you in either setting. (Thanks guys!!) -- the craft beer, wine, and aperitif selection is impressive too. Lovely space to spend a sunny (or rainy!) day in w/ a friend or book for that matter, while enjoying all the great treats the menu has to offer. Cheers

Came here for the happy hour beers ($1 off beers). I really enjoyed the decor, very different from any other taproom I've been to with lots of indoor plants. Roses' taproom seems calm with a special charm, a small space with some people studying/working on laptops and others enjoying the company. I liked their menu a lot which had beers, wines, ciders, non-alcoholic drinks, sandwiches and charcuterie a la carte it seemed. We tried 2 beers, the Terracotta and the Wish You Were Here beers. Both beers tasted great! The terracotta was a marzen beer with honey and malt and slight hoppiness. The Wish You Were Here was a tropical hazy IPA with modest hops and fruit flavors. The fruit flavors weren't extreme, great balance in the hazy IPA! I didn't like the chairs very much, definitely made for taller folks. The chair was very uncomfortable to sit for a long time and my legs kept falling asleep haha.

Holy moly Batman! I had some time to kill and wanted a beer and a snack I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu of not your average tapas. The beer was tasty and fresh. The food was even better! I rolled the dice on the Portuguese fish in oil. It was a home run. Even tho the bread was harder than I would like if that's my only complaint it was a hit! Service was at the counter and not table side but stretching your legs never hurt anybody. The place is quite nice and clean. My meal was soo good I found my self having a hard time putting to down to drink my beer. 11/10 would recommend.

my friend has been wanting to check this place out and we were in the area! not busy on a sunday afternoon. lots of cute dogs. great decor and friendly staff-- they gave us great recommendations based on our drink preferences. they also had a restroom for customers. I ordered a glass of white wine and shared the canned scallop appetizer with my friend. wine was good. scallops were delicious with the olives and bread. 4 stars because I think the staff forgot about our food order-- waited 20 minutes and saw they weren't preparing anything so we had to remind them. also - a very drunk man came in demanding for the strongest liquor they sold, and the staff dealt with him accordingly and professionally.

Came to Temescal and met up with a couple of folks on my work project. We ordered some drinks and a platter of snacks. I loved the conserva and the vermouth spritz was fantastic! Would totally come here again if I'm in the neighborhood.

I'm surprised I have not done a review for this place yet. I come here pretty often since it's a couple blocks from me. The vibes inside are really cute if you want to escape the weather, however, most of their seating is outdoors. I enjoy coming here and getting a flight of beer so I can try a few different ones. Their charcuterie is also really nice! You can even mix and match and create your own combination. My friend who is vegan did have a hard time finding something on the menu she liked/could eat. The staff here as always been pretty nice and attentive. Definitely recommend stopping by this place for some good beer/wine and vibes.

Tasty beers with unique notes but not in an intense way. They have one of my favorite micheladas, so savory! On a side note, my husband's sugar was low and I was asking them for something with sugar(a coke) and they were so attentive and understood the reason why there was some urgency behind my ask.

Very interesting and unique drinks. My friends and I stopped by for a quick drink and were able to get seated right away. The interior is nicely decorated and really cozy, and I did enjoy the overall vibe. We got a vermouth spritz which was actually quite good. It was a good blend of flavors and also the perfect amount of alcohol. I tried some of my friend's hot wine which was also surprisingly great. I might have even liked it more than the vermouth since it almost tasted like a warm spiced tea. A great place overall!

Next... Pale Ale - $7, now that's more like it! No IPA today, so I had to settle. My daughter got the Yard Bird, Strawberry Lemonade Beer. Suits her. Ready for my 3rd beer, when my daughter said she wanted to go home and party some more?!?! So I abided. Lovely's restaurant is also here on the premises. See pictures and other 5 star Yelp review. Ambiance - Cool space. Lots of semi private spaces that you can rent. See pictures or their website. Very kid and dog friendly! Unisex restrooms with outside sinks, thank you! NO parking! So bad on a Saturday evening that we almost did not come. Open 6 days a week - see picture or their website. Closed on Mondays. Service - Counters service. For both the bar and Lovely's. When I went to close out my tab at the bar, the staff member who came over to help me gave me the dirtiest, impatient, pissed-off look that I've ever received in my life. It was as if I had kicked his dog and personally insulted him, his family and his entire generational line. When he gave me the payment device, he must have accidentally navigated away from correct screen because I didn't have any options to close out my tab (i.e. there was no tip screen, or place to request a receipt). I handed the device back to him and before I could point out the issue, he snatched the device away and rushed off. Knowing something was wrong, I waited at the counter for a few minutes for him to return. I raised the billing issue and his curt response was "you must have waited too long and the screen disappeared -- you're fine". I returned to my table knowing that something was off, but left with my friends since they needed to head out to a dinner reservation. After we had said our goodbyes to our friends outside the brewery, I shared the strange interaction I had closing out my tab with my wife, and as a precaution, she recommended that we head back to the brewery to try to close out the tab again, just in case something was overlooked. I thought this was a good idea, but this time, asked my wife to try to close out my tab, as I didn't want to experience the wrath of the impatient staff member again. To absolutely nobody's surprise, the tab was not closed out! This staff member is by far, the rudest individual that I've encountered in the service industry and should reconsider their employment if they hate customer interactions this much. Truly appalled by my experience and won't be coming back anytime soon. If management wants to investigate the issue further, the tab was opened at the outside bar at 8/14/26 4:23 PM, check #35, and was transacted on by three separate staff members: 1) first person who opened the tab was friendly 2) second person who added on the second round of drinks was the same rude individual who didn't correctly close out my tab later in the evening, and 3) the third staff member was the one who finally properly closed out the tab with my wife at 7:11 PM.
