I love the vibe of this coffee shop. Located near First Street on the corner of S. J and second sits Rosetta Roasting. My husband and I are from Sacramento and we love to spend day trips in Livermore starting our morning at Rosetta. We get in super early to beat traffic and this is our first stop. We love to grab a coffee, today I went for a simple cold brew with almond milk, and sit and enjoy the vibes of the shop. The staff is also so sweet, patient & helpful. The menu is easy to read and understand but the barista are always there to help. The inside has the coolest seating areas and some really interesting and eye catching decor. They have a pastry and outdoor seating. I think there's free wi-fi and the password is listed near the front register, or you may have to ask the baristas. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised by this small business. The interior was intimate, and felt cozy and clean. I was impressed by the quality of the food (opera cake and orange sorbet) as well as the beverages (hot cocoa and cappuccino). Nice portion size for both. Also, the fact that they offer an extensive selection of boozy beverages that are not just straight up wine/beer was very cool! Service was impeccable; the employees made us feel welcome. I did not expect to adore this shop this much. I shared this shop to my friends the same day because they were so sweet and my drink was made perfectly. I asked if they can make my drink which is pretty universal but not usually on the menu and they were happy to make it. I asked for 4 shots of espresso over ice and two shots of white mocha. I have to admit coming here was a bit overwhelming my first time. I didn't understand their menu or how to order a tasty drink. I'm sure most of us are used to ordering a grande caramel macchiato or something of that nature! LOL Perhaps the occasional 2 pumps of extra vanilla syrup but nothing like this. Luckily, the first time I visited the woman taking my order was helpful and explained how to the ordering process went. Pretty much you can make your own drink with a variety of syrups, sauces, and milks. They do offer seasonal drinks to order if your not sure what to get. This second time I went they were offering an eggnog latte for the holidays. Speaking of the holidays they had the inside Nicely decorated for the holidays and they also already have a 1920ish -30ish vibe going on...which I love!! I definitely recommend visiting this coffee shop. Aesthetically pleasing, good coffee, and yummy croissants! This place has a great vibe, and a lot of interesting trinkets for sale in addition to their wide variety of handmade drinks. I also love that they use unsweetened almond milk - it's so hard to find this option anywhere! I usually have a great experience, but unfortunately the last time I was there they made my drink incorrectly with whole milk instead of almond milk (I cannot have dairy). They were busy, so I think it was an honest mistake, but I even reconfirmed with the barista and she assured me it was correct even though I saw her make it. Not sure why it took us this long to find this place, but we did, and FINALLY at that. Just a cool place to be and spacious. In the morning it's a coffee shop, at night it's a bar for date night. They have a stamp card and I can't wait to fill it up, not disappointed at all. First time here and we decided to go a little risky, something we haven't tried before - espresso soda. Not only was it refreshing with it's carbonation, the espresso wasn't too strong at all and made the drink truly shine. We had vanilla syrup added for the sweetness and thankfully the drink overall not that sweet either, but next time the blackberry for sure. We later added to try it as their expresso cream soda. Either way, it's a delicious drink. We are now anticipating their coffee itself next time as well as their signature ones like Nicco. I've only been for coffee and quiche, but what an adorable and hip coffee shop! The quiche is outstanding and the small selection of pastries was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere is really classic and throwback, with vintage everything, even in the bathroom. It's a calming and at the same time energizing place to sit back and enjoy a cappuccino. The barista was very friendly and helpful with my questions, and the service was prompt and excellent. Definitely in my top 3 coffeeshops in Livermore. read more

This place is really cute, has lots of comfortable booth seating, and the latte I ordered was pretty good! I'd recommend this place for social catching up, or light work. I came here to try and get some focused reading done and I was really unsuccessful. The music is so loud, ear plugs only halved the noise. The WiFi allows 2 hr sessions (I didn't stay a full 2 hours so I'm not sure if there's a way to extend it) and there aren't any plugs that I saw for charging laptops. Came here for the first time during their evening hours to study and since my boyfriend works across the street so I can wait for him to get off. I was looking forward to study here since they are open late and can have a drink but was unfortunately disappointed with the staff. I first walked in and started looking at the menu on the wall but one of the staff members, lady heavier side with darker/blackish hair and glasses, came up and quickly covered the menu and said "don't get too comfortable with that menu" and told me there are only certain drinks to choose from and none of those are on it. I asked which specific drinks are available to choose from and she didn't answer me but instead just told me to just scan the QR code for the menu. My boyfriend also gave me a punch card that he earned one free drink so asked to use that but said they cannot accept that during these specific hours. Why even have a punch card to earn a free drink if you don't allow customers to use it when they want? I then walked towards the back to sit and set my stuff down but the lady quickly followed me questioning if I was by myself and if I had a laptop in my backpack. I told her yes and I came here to study and she then said I couldn't sit there. (last table all the way towards the back by window) I asked why and she said I couldn't have my laptop in that whole back area because the brightness on the laptop ruins the "ambiance" or whatever. I looked around and no one was sitting in this whole area and mind you it's still daylight. She also said because Im only one person and that's for a larger group and it will get busy so she can't give up that seating to me. She directed me to where the only "available" seating was for me and it was only these tiny two tables right in the walkway where people wait for their drinks and walk back and forth. I told her this area is probably a little distracting and politely asked if I could sit anywhere else toward the front and she didn't even allow that. The front spot towards the window is "reserved" for larger group as well. I told her I will gladly move if it gets busy and in the meantime if I can sit it any one of these spots just to study and she said she cannot allow that. Ridiculous! I don't think they understand that there are brightness settings on laptops to turn down and people go to coffee shops alone all the time to study!! I didn't know coffee shops have "reserved" seating now. Noted do not come here during these hours if you need to work or study or even at all. Ended up leaving. read more

If you are ever at the Livermore farmers market and you are looking for a cup of coffee. This is %100 the place to go. You can walk to it right off the farmer market road. It's a bit on the busy side and it's not the cheapest place but man. They make a good cup of coffee. Very good taste. Nice and warm. It's a winner. It's a place to go out of the way to get a cup out. I'm so happy I tried this place! We walked by during the Sunday farmers market and noticed this place. I was drawn by its authentic espresso drinks and Italian inspiration behind the drink and coffee. After a summer living in Italy, I was in NEED of some GOOD espresso. I got the Nicco- espresso with orange. 10/10! The orange flavor was subtle and its sweetness balanced out the sharp espresso and cinnamon. Iced chai- so not good! Very obviously tasted like brewed hot chai tea with a slash of milk. Definitely not a chai latte for those who like a strong flavor or one from concentrate. I TOLD THE BARISTA WE DIDNT LIKE THE CHAI AND SHE REPLACED IT! This is always hard because you don't know how they will react. She said she would be happy to make us a perfect drink! Absolutely fantastic. My group of four stopped here on our way to Yosemite over the weekend after finding this spot on Yelp, and the reviews did not lead us astray! Rosetta offers an extensive menu of coffee and teas, and also offers a range of delicious looking pastries and quick breakfast items. The lady at the counter was incredibly friendly, which is always a nice way to start your day. They were offering 3 different fall lattes so I opted for the maple one and it was delicious! All of our drinks were. My friends got one of the breakfast sandwiches and almost keeled over in response to how good it was. The interior is fun and has a lot to look at! My girlfriends and I came by last night! It was amazing! I've never been here. It would be a great date night spot too. We had a quiet mom's night out, which we desperately needed! My friends ordered tiramisu, key lime pie & something else I can't remember. All were beautiful & yummy. Pretty sure there's nothing like this place anywhere else in town. They source and roast their beans, they make their cocktail bitters from scratch and their dessert menu is masterfully curated. I'm not usually a fan of liquor drinks (the wine was fantastic too) but the cocktails were all so remarkably tasty that we are all still talking about them. I chose a chocolate flourless cake with raspberry sauce, but not swimming in raspberry sauce just enough to cut the richness of the chocolate cake. This shop is a perfect way to end an evening when you're not ready to go home after having dinner. When you just need that little bit of sweetness at the end of a dinner. Great place to get together with friends or a date night. The staff is so kind and so friendly. I felt like I was hanging out with friends. I can't say enough about the chocolate flourless cake, so good pretty rich though, and I could not finish it. That's OK though they had other desserts to choose from. A coconut cake, tiramisu, a opera cake, which is both chocolate And white sponge and a few others. They are open till 11 PM and it's right down there all the restaurants so it is so convenient to go to after a meal. They also serve coffee and pastries in the morning and the staff was telling me that their pastries also come from France and Italy as well. COVID REVIEW Jan 2021 I love visiting local coffee shops so I knew I had to try this place out from all their house specialty syrups and drinks. I think their name is actually Espresso Rosetta so that was a bit confusing. I loved their menu on the wall that explains the nuances of different types of coffee. As a coffee enthusiast, I appreciated it! Overall: ENDLESS combinations of coffee, good customer service, and interesting specialty drinks. Definitely lives up to an Italian vibe. They could, however, work on the presentation of their drinks. The barista also let me know that they have unsweetened and sugar free versions of their flavors. NICCO CORTADO TRUFFLE Their truffles are cortados (6 ounce milk and espresso) with their house syrups. I actually liked this more than the cappuccino and I usually don't like flavored coffee. To my surprise, the orange peel and cinnamon actually paired well. I would definitely come back and try other versions of their cortado truffles. CAPPUCCINO I opted for the regular size which is 2 espresso shots with 8 ounces of milk. I liked the creaminess of the cappuccino since the foam was spot on. I didn't enjoy this one as much because there was a slight weird taste that I couldn't put my finger on. The espresso tasted a bit sour? Maybe because of the almond milk?
