But the quality speaks volumes. I love that there are such a range of flavors and that you can get some of them unsweetened - I'm personally hooked on the golden matcha (which has turmeric.) The space is very pleasant. I love the seating and the plants make it feel homey. I come here to detox from a bad day or deep focus on work and it always does the trick. There are so many thoughtful touches everywhere in here - the plants for sale with hand written care instructions, the fresh bagels, the fresh homemade syrups. The service is somewhat bare minimum, but the baristas are knowledgeable and everything else is so solid that I truly don't care. Couldn't love this place more.

It's decorated very cute with a few instagramable moments if your into that. There is a bunch of seating inside and outside. I had some questions about the menu since it was my first time going here. I asked which drinks were on the sweeter side. She was nice. I ordered two drinks to see what I might like for future. I ordered the Spanish iced latte and the caramel iced latte on her recommendation. And then I ordered two different matcha drinks for my niece. My total was about $31 for 4 small drinks. They are a little on the pricier side. They have so much ice that after a few sips our drinks were done. I also had to go back because it was not sweet at all and ask for more flavor. Both of them were lacking flavor to me. I did go back in and the girl was very accommodating and quickly added more flavor. It was better after that. Four of us went, and 6 drinks later.... We thought it was just ok and a little on the expensive side. Not sure if I would go back because it's a little drive for me and wasn't worth it to me. If I'm in the area and really really want a coffee, maybe.

Whenever I go to a breakfast spot, I always try the biscuits and gravy and they came highly recommended by our server. They were very friendly and sat us right away and the first thing they brought to us was their complimentary house coffee cake. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The biscuits were as big as my face and tasted amazing. The gravy was a white gravy the kind you would normally find on a southern fried chicken steak. It was a very generous portion, however I prefer a more traditional gravy with sausage. Individually, though the gravy was tasty and the biscuits were tasty since they were both made from scratch. The bacon was thick cut and crispy just how I like it. Next visit I am going for pancakes. The customer service was amazing. Seriously top notch hospitality. If you find yourself in Simi check them out. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. No dinner service. Range: $$

One thing that excels in this place is the service! The staff were really attentive to all our needs and checking up on us every now and then throughout our meal. The food tastes good, not really that outstanding, but just enough to fill and satisfy the little nook and crannies of the rumblies in the tumblies... The place was nice and clean. There were a few customers when we came in. And we were the only ones left after our meal. The price of the food is reasonable enough. I would recommend this business as a go-to for your breakfast needs!

Our server seem to be really new and not knowing what she was doing. It was frustrating having to ask for everything the whole time. We decided to get the meat lovers skillet, tricolor burrito, fiesta omelette, French toast. I asked for the shredded beef for my tricolor burrito, I also asked for no onions as this was another ingredient with this burrito. When I got my burrito, I thought there was a lot of onions. So I asked the server. She went to the kitchen and asked and was told that the shredded beef comes with onions. I believe that since I had mentioned, I don't want any onions, it would have been great to mention that the shredded beef already has onions so we would have chosen another meat option and not send the dish back to the kitchen. After I received my plate, saw so many onions, decided to mention it to the server and that's when she went back to the kitchen to ask, then realized it has the onions. And when I asked for asada meat, I was told it's extra. All this conversation, the server keeps coming back-and-forth to the kitchen, which was really frustrating. I end up getting the chicken, it was a good option. Our family liked the meat, lovers skillet, and the French toast Food was good however I would not be returning because the service was absolutely horrible

Lately I've been without wheels, and have ordered from here for delivery, but this past Friday we actually had a small meeting near by and we all ate in this restaurant. The food, the service and the quality were all present and worthy of FIVE stars. I had my usual Flying Fried sandwich and it did not disappoint, in fact it seemed slightly better than the last one I had. Their coffee was as good as always, a welcome beverage during a busy morning. Well played FLYING YOLK, you are a credit to our community, keep up the good vibes.

To add a drink and a little tub of fruit to my order was like $5. Eh. Not impressed. 8 grapes, 8 blueberries, one strawberry. Fountain drinks all have sugar except for the Diet Pepsi and the worst iced tea in existence. The most shocking was the restrooms. Omg. The womens was "out of order" and the mens stunk worse than a morgue with faulty air conditioning. My husband wanted to go before we left. I don't know how he did it. I went next and -- this has never happened to me -- as soon as I closed the door I immediately had the urge to vomit. I ran out and exhaled. Gawd it was the most horrid sulfur, rotting flesh, overflowed septic smell ever. So, today is 7 May 2026... if you go there any time soon and think you might need to "go", check in the back before you order. You might want to skip this place til they get their literal shite together!
