I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese, which they offered to toast for me. The food came out pretty quickly and the person taking my order was pretty patient with me taking my time to look at their menu. The ambiance was nice too - it seems like a cozy enough place for people to hang out and I even saw someone working on their laptop for awhile. I will say the foods looked good but seemed a little pricey for the service size, so I avoided ordering anything else this time. Might check them out in the future.

Then somehow the avocado toast we waited 15 minutes for, was remade in less than two minutes...we just threw it out because they likely just put it in a new container. Space is cute, and we drove 30 minutes to come, would not do again or recommend.

Whenever I go to a breakfast spot, I always try the biscuits and gravy and they came highly recommended by our server. They were very friendly and sat us right away and the first thing they brought to us was their complimentary house coffee cake. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The biscuits were as big as my face and tasted amazing. The gravy was a white gravy the kind you would normally find on a southern fried chicken steak. It was a very generous portion, however I prefer a more traditional gravy with sausage. Individually, though the gravy was tasty and the biscuits were tasty since they were both made from scratch. The bacon was thick cut and crispy just how I like it. Next visit I am going for pancakes. The customer service was amazing. Seriously top notch hospitality. If you find yourself in Simi check them out. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. No dinner service. Range: $$

One thing that excels in this place is the service! The staff were really attentive to all our needs and checking up on us every now and then throughout our meal. The food tastes good, not really that outstanding, but just enough to fill and satisfy the little nook and crannies of the rumblies in the tumblies... The place was nice and clean. There were a few customers when we came in. And we were the only ones left after our meal. The price of the food is reasonable enough. I would recommend this business as a go-to for your breakfast needs!

The service was friendly, but what really stood out was the food and all of the different options on the menu. There was a good variety to choose from, and I liked that most of the menu items had pictures, which made it easier to decide what to order. They even have a full page on the menu dedicated to Mexican specialties, which was a nice touch and gave us even more options to choose from. They also had a great selection of coffee drinks. I ordered the Banana Cold Brew, and it was really good. Overall, the prices were fair, the food was delicious, and I would definitely come back. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot.

Our server seem to be really new and not knowing what she was doing. It was frustrating having to ask for everything the whole time. We decided to get the meat lovers skillet, tricolor burrito, fiesta omelette, French toast. I asked for the shredded beef for my tricolor burrito, I also asked for no onions as this was another ingredient with this burrito. When I got my burrito, I thought there was a lot of onions. So I asked the server. She went to the kitchen and asked and was told that the shredded beef comes with onions. I believe that since I had mentioned, I don't want any onions, it would have been great to mention that the shredded beef already has onions so we would have chosen another meat option and not send the dish back to the kitchen. After I received my plate, saw so many onions, decided to mention it to the server and that's when she went back to the kitchen to ask, then realized it has the onions. And when I asked for asada meat, I was told it's extra. All this conversation, the server keeps coming back-and-forth to the kitchen, which was really frustrating. I end up getting the chicken, it was a good option. Our family liked the meat, lovers skillet, and the French toast Food was good however I would not be returning because the service was absolutely horrible

While not as good as Japan they were still great and I would eat them again. Their menu is huge with lots of options for everyone. My kids had chocolate pancakes and chocolate French toast, my wife had a dish with eggs and chicken and I shared the soufflé pancakes. A word to the wise the portions at Lady C's are huge. Probably one dish for two people is plenty. Don't over order. I ordered a side of eggs and bacon for each of my boys and it was all way too much. For three people, two dishes will be plenty to share, even then with left overs. We came on Saturday morning at 9am and while the patio was full there was seating inside available. I would come back.

Some of the dishes are just amazing. The fluffy Souffle pancakes, the outrageous French Toast, and the shakes, wow.... Just so many wonderful options. My father loved the Beef Panang curry and Lava omelet. First time he has had a Lava Omelet. Runny egg that mixes in great with the heat and flavor of the Beef Panang. Wish we had some bread to soak up the juices on the plate. My mom really enjoyed the waffle. So many strawberries and inches of whipped cream. The Ceci Benedict was flavorful and cooked well. It looked so good. The Green Forest Omelet was really tasty, good garlic flavor, lots of veggies. And the potatoes were cooked well and just disappeared after I started on them. There is plenty of parking as it shares a parking lot with a few restaurants. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating inside and out. There are 2 patios, Even if it looks full, seats open up all of the time. Staff is super friendly and are knowledgeable. With such a large menu, the wait staff needs to know their stuff. And the do know it. We had plenty of questions and all were answered with educated answers.

Lately I've been without wheels, and have ordered from here for delivery, but this past Friday we actually had a small meeting near by and we all ate in this restaurant. The food, the service and the quality were all present and worthy of FIVE stars. I had my usual Flying Fried sandwich and it did not disappoint, in fact it seemed slightly better than the last one I had. Their coffee was as good as always, a welcome beverage during a busy morning. Well played FLYING YOLK, you are a credit to our community, keep up the good vibes.

Eh. Not impressed. 8 grapes, 8 blueberries, one strawberry. Fountain drinks all have sugar except for the Diet Pepsi and the worst iced tea in existence. The most shocking was the restrooms. Omg. The womens was "out of order" and the mens stunk worse than a morgue with faulty air conditioning. My husband wanted to go before we left. I don't know how he did it. I went next and -- this has never happened to me -- as soon as I closed the door I immediately had the urge to vomit. I ran out and exhaled. Gawd it was the most horrid sulfur, rotting flesh, overflowed septic smell ever. So, today is 7 May 2026... if you go there any time soon and think you might need to "go", check in the back before you order. Standout…read moredishes include the country fried steak, ranchos huevos verde, Swedish pancakes, and their flavored coffee. Their rotating specials keep things interesting and give regulars a reason to come back and try something new. Ironically, the one weak spot at Eggs N Things can be the eggs themselves. When I ordered two scrambled eggs, the portion was so small it looked like the chicken might have reconsidered halfway through the job. If you're ordering eggs, sunny-side up seems to be the safer bet. Service is generally fast and friendly, though the place can get busy during peak breakfast hours. The decor is a nice touch too, with references to Simi Valley streets and local landmarks that give the restaurant a real sense of local character. Overall, Eggs N Things is a fun, energetic diner and a very Simi Valley-style breakfast spot--great for hearty plates, flavored coffee, and a lively local atmosphere.

My fiancé ordered his eggs over medium, but they came out over easy. It may seem like a small detail, but when "eggs" is literally in the restaurant's name, you'd expect them to be cooked as ordered. The service was also a bit disappointing. Our waitress took our order, brought our food, and then came back with the check. There were no check-ins to see if we needed drink refills or if everything came out correctly, which made the experience feel a little impersonal. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing really stood out either. It was a perfectly average breakfast--good enough if you're hungry and nearby, but not somewhere we'd go out of our way to visit again.
