This was nacho supreme I was highly disappointed. Very disappointing. I paid $32 for two plates and look what I got.

Date: 7/13/2019 Time: 12:55 PM 69° Sunny My husband and I are at the A's game. Since the weather is nice, we decide to go to Championship Plaza to see which food trucks are there. He opts for a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich from another food truck vendor. I am not sure of its name. (I Love Cheesesteak?) Okay, I choose Rosie's Mexican Food. The menu board posted on the truck offers burritos, tacos, seafood (shrimp cocktail and shrimp ceviche on tostada), plate combinations, taco salad, agua fresca (watermelon or mango), etc. Even though the cashier is pleasant and friendly, the taco salad I have ordered leaves a lot to be desired. The description of the taco salad on the menu board is not quite what I see. It did not have the cheese, guacamole and pico de gallo. I am sorry, but pico de gallo is not just chopped tomatoes. Terrible that their pico de gallo did not have chopped onion, finely chopped jalapeños and chopped cilantro. At best, the taco salad is a 2 star. I have had better elsewhere and I am not talking about Taco Bell's taco salad, which is crappy. I am leaving a three star rating because the redeeming factor is the agua de sandía (watermelon) and the cashier's demeanor, as mentioned above. I will return and try their shrimp ceviche and fish tacos.

    Carnitas street taco

We were driving around when we spotted Rosie's Mexican Food Truck in an apartment complex. It's tacos so you know we pulled right in! I went with a classic carnitas street taco and it delivered! The pork was super flavorful! It was on the drier side than what I am use to but I liked the change! It added some nice texture to the taco! It also came with cilantro, salsa and onion ontop. On the side it came with a lime wedge and radsih. I really appreciated the fresh squeeze of lime because pork can be so fatty sometimes you need the acid to cut through! This truck knows how to serve up amazing Mexican food and I will forever pull over to get a taco anytime I see them!

I can totally understand the low rating for Rosie's Mexican Food Truck, it just wasn't as good as you'd hope. I ordered two "Street Tacos" which are just basic Mexican tacos with your choice of meat. I ordered one with beef and one with chicken. I honestly wasn't impressed with the quality of the food and felt that it was not worth the $6 total. They were $3 each and were not worth the price. I felt that the tacos were not steaming hot and fresh, it felt kinda dry and overall lacking flavor. The customer service was pretty good though, the chef didn't understand English, but the cashier understood it well enough. Credit Card minimum is $5 here, otherwise cash only.

I ordered shrimp tacos & ceviche and everything is so delish! Can't wait to try fish tacos next time.

They have delicious Tacos !! My favorite is El Pastor and highly recommend them. Prices are pretty reasonable. I want to try more options on their menu when they are here next time.

I went to the one in San Francisco premium outlets. The food and the drinks are really good. Employees are super nice and it's well priced. It was very clean and sanitized and our food was ready in less than 3 minutes no kidding!! I would recommend to anyone who hasn't been here, loved it!

I was supposed to get my windows tinted and the guy was super dismissive, so my mood was already off. I decided tacos were the only way to save my soul... and this little taqueria delivered. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their customers. The food? Amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. I ordered way more than I expected because everything looked so good, and now I'm stuffed with a whole bag of leftovers to take home. The horchata was absolutely delicious, like truly top-tier. Cold, creamy, and the perfect balance of sweetness. And the best part? It was all super affordable for the amount and quality of food you get. If you're ever in BayPoint, do yourself a favor and stop here. Great service, great food, great prices, and the kind of place that turns a bad day into a really good one. This little fluke of a stop completely changed my mood, and I'll definitely be back.‍

I'm already excited for an opportunity to come back soon! I was told the tacos are a must, so of course I ordered a Chicken Tinga Tostada and Vampiro with steak. I also ordered a Watermelon Aguas Frescas. For the table we did an order of Guacamole with Pork Belly (first time ever trying this!) and Birria Grilled Cheese Bites. Something cool about ordering tacos here is upon ordering two, you can grab complimentary sides that include cactus, radishes, grilled onion, and beans. There's also the cutest bottles of hot sauce on the table for your meal. The service was quick and friendly, ambiance was fun and vibrant. Would be fun to come back for a marg at the bar. Seems like a vibe for that post-work moment. I noticed a special kiddo menu and breakfast menu. Also, they have a pretty cool Birria menu filled with fun items like Birria fries, flautas, pizza, ramen, and more! The grilled cheese bites were a great app to get an intro to what a full plate could look like. Super fresh and flavorful food, parking adjacent in small lot, and left with overall awesome feels.

I pointed out to he waiter that he had a crumb on his chin and he wiped and chuckled like a nice champ. The music is pleasant but a bit louder than needed so I brought out the earplugs. The entire indoor setup is nice. Our food is arriving after what seems like a long wait meaning either the food is being served fresh, hot and tasty, or we are in for a mediocre experience. Our two plates arrived. Chilli relleno and Grilled chicken enchilada. I'm not a fan of the aesthetics of the smallish squair white plates. Reminds me of trying to look upscale. We own plates like these and that didn't work. Wife's enchilada plate was covered with three hot and very tasty chicken filled food bombs plus sides. The chili plate looked a little weak (too much plate showing) but that was the tastiest chilli relleno ever in 40 years of me enjoying these. Served hot with cheese filled up to the ying yang, an extra spiciness I have never had before that I loved and me wishing I had a spoon to scrape up the end of the sauce. Unfortunately the smallish rice and bean servings on both plates were luke warm and tasted so so. . I had similar hotter to those with tv dinners back in the day. The two plates and a coke at $43 has me scratching my chin on whether we will make that drive again. That is unless it is Sunday. Then possibly. .

After giving it some thought, I decided to return and explore what it was about Isla that everyone raved over. This time around, I ordered the fish tacos, and I was hooked! Isla's fish tacos are phenomenal--easily the best in the area and a must-have every single time. I usually go for the tilapia, though I've sampled the red snapper as well. They come out super crispy on the outside yet remain incredibly moist inside, with the salsa and toppings melding together perfectly. I also visited their new location today and was pleasantly surprised by the ample parking and comfortable seating. The space is beautiful, making it even more enjoyable to stop by for those irresistible fish tacos. Here's a quick rundown of my ratings: Fish (all varieties): 8.7/10 Birria: 7/10 (good, but not their standout item) Carne Asada Super Burrito: 5.8/10 When it comes to satisfying my fish taco cravings, Isla remains the only choice.
