My wife and I both ordered 3 asada tacos each and asada fries for our son. The tacos were just ok. The asada fries were better. The place is expensive for just regular tasting food. We paid just over $40 bucks for the 3 of us, & considering we really only ordered tacos. I'm not sure we'd eat there again. Service was quick. read more

Trash. Stopped by the food truck on my way off bart and paid $18 for a California burrito. I honestly went with a Cali burrito even though it was $3 more expensive because I wanted the fries inside. The burrito had no flavor, no fries, no sauce. Just beans, meat, cheese, sour cream and rice. I will never take a chance on this truck again. No wonder why there was nobody in line there!!!!! Date: 7/13/2019 Time: 12:55 PM 69° Sunny My husband and I are at the A's game. Since the weather is nice, we decide to go to Championship Plaza to see which food trucks are there. He opts for a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich from another food truck vendor. I am not sure of its name. (I Love Cheesesteak?) Okay, I choose Rosie's Mexican Food. The menu board posted on the truck offers burritos, tacos, seafood (shrimp cocktail and shrimp ceviche on tostada), plate combinations, taco salad, agua fresca (watermelon or mango), etc. Even though the cashier is pleasant and friendly, the taco salad I have ordered leaves a lot to be desired. The description of the taco salad on the menu board is not quite what I see. It did not have the cheese, guacamole and pico de gallo. I am sorry, but pico de gallo is not just chopped tomatoes. Terrible that their pico de gallo did not have chopped onion, finely chopped jalapeños and chopped cilantro. At best, the taco salad is a 2 star. I have had better elsewhere and I am not talking about Taco Bell's taco salad, which is crappy. I am leaving a three star rating because the redeeming factor is the agua de sandía (watermelon) and the cashier's demeanor, as mentioned above. I will return and try their shrimp ceviche and fish tacos. read more

We were driving around when we spotted Rosie's Mexican Food Truck in an apartment complex. It's tacos so you know we pulled right in! I went with a classic carnitas street taco and it delivered! The pork was super flavorful! It was on the drier side than what I am use to but I liked the change! It added some nice texture to the taco! It also came with cilantro, salsa and onion ontop. On the side it came with a lime wedge and radsih. I really appreciated the fresh squeeze of lime because pork can be so fatty sometimes you need the acid to cut through! This truck knows how to serve up amazing Mexican food and I will forever pull over to get a taco anytime I see them! read more

Rosie's crunchy tacos are to DIE FOR! It is tough to find authentic auga Fresca and perfect crunchy tacos in the Bay and Rosie hits the mark for both. All of her other items on the menu are amazing as well - love the carne asada tacos as well! LOVE supporting a female owned business and her team - they are all amazing. I can totally understand the low rating for Rosie's Mexican Food Truck, it just wasn't as good as you'd hope. I ordered two "Street Tacos" which are just basic Mexican tacos with your choice of meat. I ordered one with beef and one with chicken. I honestly wasn't impressed with the quality of the food and felt that it was not worth the $6 total. They were $3 each and were not worth the price. I felt that the tacos were not steaming hot and fresh, it felt kinda dry and overall lacking flavor. The customer service was pretty good though, the chef didn't understand English, but the cashier understood it well enough. Credit Card minimum is $5 here, otherwise cash only. read more

Rosie's Mexican Food was one of 3 shiny new food trucks at Bishop Ranch 3. came near closing. not surprising no one in line. locale: Food Truck Mafia, BR3, (3/1/19) offerings: tacos, burritos, desserts eats: fish taco(4). barbacoa/pastor taco(3) -fish taco had prefried pieces of fish mixed with lettuce. etc. fish tasted lukewarm. not surprising since owner forgot to list it on menu. -barbacoa premade and pastor prefried, bland with salsa, cliantro, room left on the regular sized tortillas, maybe they ran out of the street size ones. *no rush to repeat. notes: -get here early before the premade proteins cool down, get hard. -parking either was easy or i got lucky and found a spot instantly. read more

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a pic because I was hungry and needed the fuel to power through studying for my chem final. Two words: Pastor Fries.. okay maybe three, PASTOR FRIES + HORCHATA. Bomb dot com. I tried their food truck and they are not shy about packing your plate with meat to fry ratio. I love condiments and extra everything, I didn't fall short of: guacamole, sour cream, onions, tomatoes, fries and pastor. Their horchata was mildly sweet for those that don't like it super sweet, definitely, try it. Checkout was quick, my order was ready in less than 6 mins. read more

I've tried this food truck several times at the Bishop Ranch area in San Ramon. I always order street tacos and so far they have been good. The radishes on the side are a nice touch. The salsa and onions are fresh. I like the carnitas best - it is crispy but still juicy. At $3 a piece the street tacos are a good deal. Two are enough for a nice light lunch. read more

First don't eat here if you have any allergies because they won't allow changes. Apparently when my sister asked for the refried beans to be substituted or removed the owner (assuming she's Rosie) laughed and yelled that she doesn't know how to make the food any other way. Okay, let us know don't yell at us and derisively laugh at your consumers. She then watched the two cooks make everything and ate some food back there. Only one cook wore a mask while cooking. First - Rosie was on this truck and was extremely pleasant! I was a bit late to lunch today and Rosie let me try the meat as the pastor had run out. I ordered the Super Quesadilla wish shredded beef and all other goodness. The quesadilla was fantastic and when I pulled the foil off I knew it was the real stuff :). I'd definitely order from this truck again. @Rosie - Do you have another style of Salsa that is a little less on the sweet side? The red sauce was very tasty, but a little on the sweet side. Are there other options? Overall, service was great, fast, and was great to scarf down. I'd take a picture, but it's a bit too late! Looking forward to trying something new next time. read more

Tonight, Rosie's is 1 of 5 or 6 trucks #atthecoliseum at #championshipplaza. Usually burritos are pretty hard to screw up but they screwed up royally. I ordered a veggie burrito with no lettuce. In my opinion lettuce DOES NOT belong on a burrito! When they gave it to me the man in the truck apologized and said there was a little lettuce in my burrito. Like they put it on and realized and then scraped some off. I didn't want them to waste it and throw it away so I took it. We left championship plaza to eat somewhere else. When I finally took a bite of my burrito it basically exploded lettuce. Ok, maybe a bit of an exaggeration but it definitely wasn't "a little". I was too far away to walk my tired, hungry, pregnant ass back to the truck so I continued to eat it. I was excited to eventually find the guacamole and sour cream (that were listed as included items) those items usually make a crappy burrito tolerable... I NEVER FOUND IT! Stopped at this taco truck on my way home in San Lorenzo. I ordered the steak fries for $12 and not only was the food expensive but it was awful. The fries weren't cooked all the way, it was served sloppy, the meat on the tacos wasn't seasoned.. Never again will I buy anything from here anymore. read more
