My friend and I found this place on yelp and honestly glad we did! Both of our entrees were delicious and so filling. The crispy pork with fried rice was a huge portion so my friend was even able to take some of it home. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Randomly found this spot, this is truly a hidden gem. The service is great, and the food is even better. I'd simply come back just for the crispy pork, it's probably one of the best crispy porks I've had and it's very close in to resemblance of one of my favorite Filipino pork dishes. A little Thai gem in Anaheim hills. I was craving some curry and this places popped up on my Yelp and I'm glad I decided to try it out. It's a family owned restaurant where they were all very friend and nice. The second I saw they had crispy pork I had to try it out. I got the pumpkin curry with crispy pork, some spicy eggplant with tofu and pad see ew with chicken. Without a doubt the curry with the crispy pork was my favorite. They give a good portion of pork as well and it's so crispy and full of texture and flavor. The other items were just as you would expect and tasty but no doubt I'm coming back here for the crispy pork. You can have that add on to Any of the other dishes I believe. Thai food is one of my top favorites and well, this little mom & pop shop has made its way into my list. The pork belly pad Thai was amazing. I wish you could hear the crunch on that pork belly. The portions are great for sharing so I recommend going with some friends, ordering a few dishes to share. Huge parking lot, tons of seating & such amazing service. I love how this place is close to where I live. The food is pretty good and i'm glad they can add crispy pork belly to most dishes! The place was average but cozy. I liked the art and posters they had up which reminds me of my time in thailand. Everything we ordered was delicious and in a generous quantity that we had to take it to go. The staff here were very patient and gracious as we came here on a whim and only had apple pay. This is now our favorite Thai restaurant. We've ordered the crispy noodle dish combo, whole fried fish, and pad thai w crispy pork which tops them all. I am not a fan of pork but the crispy pork is so good, I crave it! The ingredients are always fresh and it's clean food, not mushy or old/recycled. The server is always attentive and polite. The food is good. But the service is just ok. Not as nice/friendly as expected. What disappoint me the most is that our toddler's item fell on the floor and instead of giving it back to us (we were still outside!) or maybe keep it on the side just in case. They just throw it right away, and we are still outside. I will not come back again. I have been a fan of Suthathip ever since they opened in Anaheim Hills about 7 years ago. Although it is a bit out of the way, I still come here on and off just because the food is so good. I assure you that it is definitely worth the extra driving distance to get there as you will find some of the most authentic and delicious Thai cuisines in the entire OC. Their lunch special is also one of the best bargains in town and each entrée includes soup or salad. Pictured above is a broccoli and chicken lunch special served with steamed rice and fried wontons. I also like their traditional pad thai (fried rice noodles) as well as their curry dishes. The restaurant's yellow curry is particularly on point, and I like it moderately spicy. For a hearty dinner, I recommend crying tiger - a tender and flavorful rib eye steak served with their signature sweet chili sauce. Seafood lovers have plenty of fish entrees to choose from. My personal favorite is deep fried tilapia with garlic pepper. read more

NONE of the food is bland here. Their crispy pork is the perfect mix of crunch and tenderness (both fried rice & pad Thai with it are excellent!) while the curries are extremely rich and creamy!! Another HUGE standout at Suthathip Thai is their green pandan sticky rice with mango! Love the sweet and fragrant notes you get from this. I used to enjoy eating at Suthathip Thai, but as of late the quality of food has gone down tremendously. Last month I order food togo and everyone in my household ended up with food poisoning. I did NOT reach out to the restaurant because I thought it was an isolated event. But today, after eating there, both my friend and I ended up with stomach cramps. Last month we spent over $80.00 and today it was a little over $60.00, therefore the cost is high and the quality low. I will never eat here again!! read more

We came 20 minutes before closing and we didn't feel like they were trying to rush us. The calamari definitely missed the mark as the calamari separated from the batter coating as soon as I picked up any of the pieces. Batter consistency and crunchiness was good but just wished it stuck a little better. The taste of the calamari dish itself was lacking in flavor and the sauce was nothing special. Felt bland. I ordered the Thai boat noodle. It's different from what I expected; I suspect this style doesn't use pork/beef blood in the soup since it focused more on the aromatics and spice rather than the deep rich meaty broth. My husband found this place because it showed up on his Instagram reels so we decided to check it out. We ordered beef salad, crispy pork pad thai, tofu pad see ewe, and red curry with chicken. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The only thing that took us by surprise was the texture of the pork. It was a little too crispy. In the reels that he saw the pork didn't look too crispy but the dish we had was excessively crispy. Other than that everything was so good and we will be returning frequently from now on! Disappointing Dining Experience I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, it was far from the culinary delight I had hoped for. I ordered pad thai crispy pork. The meat was overcooked and it was very hard, and the overall taste fell short of expectations. I was expecting fresh juicy crispy pork. Fresh from the oven or fryer. Looks like the pork was cooked multiple times throughout the day type. The dryness of the dishes was particularly disappointing. The pad thai flavor was meh. Also Felt like noodles were not fresh noodles they came short like mashed up left over noodles. We found our new Thai spot in the Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills area! They really followed social distancing protocols - takeout only, employees wearing masks, tables barricading the entrance upon walking in. The employee even processed my payment from afar. I called ahead to place my order and they had it ready within about 15 minutes. My boyfriend was skeptical and concerned that they made our food so quickly but to our surprise, everything we ordered tasted great. We got the crab rangoons, pineapple fried rice with pork, green curry with chicken, and pad thai with beef. I don't think we found anything we didn't like about any of these items (except I don't know how to feel about the pecans in the pineapple fried rice). Everything was perfectly flavored and cooked, and their portions were so big that it took the two of us about 2-3 days to finish all of the food. I can't complain about having these as leftovers though. I can't wait to go here again next time we're craving Thai food! read more

Went here on a random day. My friend and I were stuck on the 91 traffic and I got hungry. Searched Yelp for Thai places around the area and it brought me in this hidden gem. Their fried pork belly is the best. Have it as an appetizer or go with your noodles, you win either way. This was the first thai restaurant I had when I moved to this area. And boy, this really set the standard for thai food in this area. The pad thai was amazing. From flavor to texture of the noodles were so perfect. I have also tried the curry and fried rice dishes here. Everything was really good. I have only done takeout here. I always make sure to call first because they are pretty popular and the wait cane be long. I know because I forgot to call once and had to wait for a while. Good thing there is a supermarket next door so I can walk around while waiting. This is a restaurant I will definitely continue to visit because it is tasty, quick, and close to home! read more
