Was nice to walk in and the person said welcome in , . I walked around store to find some shelf space was empty and some other were full , some organized and others were not. Stuff just laying around not the right place and many clearly had sale tags and others were in some sort of discount price also sale tags some are not clear to read so had to go up front ask for help, staff wasn't rude but not fully cheerful , wasn't smiling at all. Now the female security lady was smiling each way and was talking to you if you had a question or just small talk . I stood in line for 30 minutes with one item. There is no self checkout or less than 10 items lane. There were 8 registers and only 2 open. This was at 3pm on a Tuesday! I will not be shopping here again. read more

When I say this, I really mean it. Janky! It's a hot mess with stuff everywhere and unpleasant staff. I just don't get how they are more expensive than most Ross stores but with less of a selection. Maybe it's the area. Only 5 options for toothbrush holders. Only 1 option for a tall trash bin. Only 3 options for hampers- all very short. read more

If there was ever to be a True Life episode where I was a main feature, it'd be "True Life: I'm addicted to Ross". It's not a healthy obsession by any means but I can't help that every time I come to this location, I seriously leave with at least $50-$100 worth of stuff. Sometimes it doesn't make sense but when it's in front of me, I'm like I totally need this in my life. There's a particular brand of candles and home decor this location carries that is my secret go-to moment. I know the full retail value of them and it blows my mind how I can grab a $50+ candle for only $8. If you see me with 8 candles at once... no you didn't lol. Now Ross is more of a shop where you have to spend time to find the goodie (Not Ciara's goodies but similar). They have bathrooms here and they're super clean just fyi! I also come here for the bamboo thread calvin klein pillows and serta pillows for cool temp control. They're divine! read more

Didn't get to shop comfortably because Lost Prevention was wayyy too annoying and focused on following EVERYONE around the store with their FAKE nods and smiles hahaha...omg this guy asked me EVERY SINGLE TIME he passed me how my day was going...same as it was 2 minutes ago but bout to change to ANNOYING! Go follow customers with the baby strollers and big hoodies on Jesus I wasn't even carrying a Purse! 2 people on register, LONG line at checkout, and 8 people on floor following customers for looking at stuff to BUY!! read more

Lots of clothes and shoes well sorted out in sections around the store. Easy to find the general typs of clothing you want (pants, shirts, dresses). And the shoe department is massive! Like other Ross stores, prices are good, but you need to hunt thru the racks to find what you need because there's no merchandising--plain cotton dresses will be hung next to a work dress. But that's your exchange for the prices you get. And while this one is definitely nicer than some of the other ones in town, I found dresses tangled with each other because they were falling of their hangers, and it hadn't been fixed by staff. For me, this is not a quick stop shop. It takes time to search for what I want, as opposed to a major department store. So if you are opposed to that, then Ross isn't for you. Parking is easy and it's in a great part of town to make this a stop to include in a day of shopping. read more

I've been to many Ross stores, but first time here at this location. All the employees were so nice, even the security guard up front (fyi, checks receipt on way out like Costco- guessing there's a history behind this). Greeted as I walked in, fitting room lady was wonderful and cheerful. Fitting rooms were nicer/cleaner than my usual Ross location. read more

All Ross stores are my favorite to shop at BUT I really enjoy coming to this Ross location to shop. It's not a very big store location but it always has a great selection of all my favorite things..shoes, clothes, more shoes, more clothes;)..ect. Shopping at Ross for me is like treasure hunting since Ross carries such a wide variety of items..bedding, pillows, house decor, pet items, purses, shoes, clothing, ect, ect, ect...and all at VERY budget friendly prices!! Which means a girl can go a little crazy w/ shopping & I'm not breaking the bank!! I can literally spend a couple of hours at Ross just looking through everything. Whenever I'm on the hunt for a new summer dress, or cute shoes or just need some good ol' fashion retail therapy Ross is my go-to spot! I really liked this location of Ross in Austin. I bought two pairs of sweatpants to wear to bed, some nice rainbow CK flip-flops, and a really lovely yellow maxi dress that, aside from a little bit of altering to fit better, was a perfect find! My only neutral sentiment about this Ross is that the makeup and hair supplies aren't that interesting. That said, if I lived in Austin, I would be visiting this location regularly! read more

Okay, a Yelp quickie: Ross is kind of like McDonald's & Walmart, I'm inclined to think a lot of Yelpers go there, they just don't check-in publicly. I could be completely wrong. Whatevs. And pretty much any new store is going to be a great store when it first opens, so enjoy the moment. This brand new Ross is big & bright & shiny, all signs are bilingual, and there's just a whole bunch of stuff to choose from. Cool. I've been seriously stalking this Ross every since they closed the old gnarly one on Burnet. A fresh Ross? Be still my heart! You guys know I love Ross. I mean, I save so much money on workout pants and jeans and pillows and purses and all kinds of crazy stuff that would cost soooo much more elsewhere. This one is stocked to the gills with awesome stuff. I'm terrified of how much I'll spend here. Their shoe selection is vast, the clothing is better than what I've seen at other stores and best of all, everything is new! Sure, there are still people with like 3 kids running around the store but such is the hazard of shopping at such stores. I'll take the possibility of tripping over a tiny human in exchange for a whole shopping cart that totals out at under $100. read more

This local was great inside. They are the biggest one I have been to! Unfortunately the parking lot is quite tiny and the employees were not very nice. :( I would probably come here because the location is good and they are very nicely organized. Their pricing seemed great and they are right beside a Walmart and Yogurtland so I guess for me these are more pluses hehe ~ This area is hopping with restaurants and other places to pick up stuff that you might need so it isn't bad to know there is a Ross here in case you need to drop by. read more

Great, new location! Bright, clean, and organized. Since it recently opened, they're stocked full of merchandise. Ross always has great deals. Why pay full price??? Easy access off Anderson Lane. Plenty of parking. My only complaint is that the cashiers are a little slow, at least the two times I've been. I returned 3 shirts and at the cashier scanned each item, she stopped to put a security on each, hung it on a hanger, and then proceeded to the next item. Couldn't she process the returns later, and not make me and other customers in line wait? Perhaps the staff need a little training on efficiency and sense of urgency when the store is super busy. read more

So, there are some items that you can find here that will be cheaper than anywhere else, including Amazon and Walmart. If you have to replace welcome mats frequently because your pets destroy them, this is a good store to replace them. The bad news is that just about everything about the experience of shopping here is negative. In particular, there is always a ridiculously long wait at the registers. I have no idea how I used to shop here. Not this particular location but this store. It seems like the more I go to these places the less I find appealing. That said, this store in particular is relatively new and in a shopping area. The parking lot on the other hand is the the mother cussing demolition derby! I've been going to several Ross locations all over Austin for the past couple of months to find items to decorate a bedroom. They always have unique finds at great prices (wall hangings and mirrors are super cool sometimes!), but are usually very disorganized, picked over and kind of dirty stores. I've never been to the one on Anderson and was especially surprised to see how CLEAN and ORGANIZE the store was. Best Rod over ever been to in any city, hands down. read more

We used to always go to the old location but were happy they were moving. They never really had lines before The new store is a bit more convenient but is smaller than the old store, but the place was packed. Being Ross their aisle are far too small for the people shopping, much the place where everyone disregards those trying to get around them. They only had three of their many registers open, one of which was closed while we were waiting in line so the employee could leave, yet they still have an LP person standing by the door and several employees working on the floor. They did not appear to be ready employee-wise for their new location. After 10 minutes in line we put our stuff down and left. They need to step it up and make moving the lines at the register their top priority. read more

Clean yes but salesman and management needs more training. Went to look for a watch liked one but wanted to compare ,NO! Can't have two out at same time, ok I wanted one.... go thru the line lady you can't pay here...went thru line 20 people deep came back to same lady same spot...next week went back asked someone for help with a table but told no one available. Ok...dragged it up to front asked same guy can I leave it here go thru *(maize) he said NO. .. drag thru maize...I asked can someone help me get to my car? NO our employees can't go out with merchandise. ..I left table. Think trust and respect is missing here. WRONG TYPE MANAGEMENT for this neighborhood, in fact any neighborhood. One of the most well stocked Ross stores I have ever been to. So much house stuff! I loved it

When I came out of the fitting room I was stopped by a guy dressed in all blue. I had 6 items and 2 I didn't work for me so I handed them to the guy. He counted the items in my hands and then was upset that I had taken shoes into the fitting room. He said " you aren't allowed to take shoes in the fitting room" to which I replied " well she (the fitting room attendant) didn't say that I couldn't". He then firmly told her no shoes allowed in the fitting rooms. If shoes aren't allowed to be tried on with clothing then put up a sign. Also if I were to steal the shoes, they have a sensor on them that would of alerted you as I walked out the door. He just made me feel like shit and like I was a thief. Never returning. read more
