    Was the perfect store to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I really like the affordable prices on most of the items. I also love how there is so many different things to choose from ,lots of home good which I love the best. But overall had a great experience shopping here.

    Ross offers a wide variety of products and affordable prices. It's a great place to find deal on clothes, accessories, HomeGoods and more. The store is well organized, making it easy to browse and locate items of interest. I particularly appreciate the selection brands available at Ross they carry a mix of well-known brands and lesser-known labels, offering a range of options of different preferences and budgets. This allows shoppers to discover unique and stylish items without breaking the bank. Another aspect worth mentioning is a friendly and helpful staff whenever I had questions or need assistance employees were attentive and willing to assist. Their knowledge of their store layouts and inventory was impressive making the shopping experience more enjoyable However one area where Ross can improve is in the organization and cleansing this at times certain sections of the story appeared a bit cluttered. It would be beneficial for the staff to regularly tie up and ensure that the merchandise is will arrange and easy accessible.

    It's Friday 8:39am and the sign outside says they open at 8:30am. An employee walked by us twice at 8:32am and saw us standing outside and still didn't unlock the doors. Now there is 7 people waiting outside the doors and still nothing. Update: They opened the doors at 8:41am

    I am in this store at least twice a week. You have to frequent the store to get the good stuff before it's gone. This Ross has it's good and bad to note: The Good: Very clean, implemented a faster check out system, amazing prices on Calvin Klein/ Anne Klein/Jessica Simpson dresses, and incredible prices on home goods. They have been getting lots of good shabby chic home goods there - many for under $10. The Bad: Poor selection, bare shelves. If you come back to buy something you spotted earlier in the day, it is gone (this is especially true with their home goods). The Ugly: People, stop stealing from this store! Thanks to you, we honest shoppers have to stand and wait for the fitting room clerk to check all of our clothes for sensor tags prior to giving us a number before trying them on and then re-check the items before taking unwanted items and our number back! Oh, and what is up with customers opening up and sampling the cosmetic/bath and body items?! You are hard pressed to find a full bottle of lotion at Ross. They should just have the security guard stand in that aisle. Security has never followed me around the store like others have commented. In fact, I always thought it was weird that they just stand by the door greeting people. Shoplifting is a serious problem at Ross. One of the complaints I hear time and time again is the long wait for a cashier. I give management kudos for trying to address customer complaints on wait times by implementing a faster check out process. Ross has been doing a good job trying to coach customers (asking customers to remove clothes from hangers while in line, asking us to swipe our card once the first item has been entered) so they can cut down on customers' wait time, but sadly some people still don't seem to get it. All in all, this is a great Ross - far cleaner than the ones in Pleasant Hill, but with less inventory than Walnut Creek. If they could just get more inventory in home goods, I would give them a five-star rating.

    Needs to open the dressing rooms. The lines are long for the little cubrs they have. It's a very silly business decision!

    Went looking for bras, and bathroom curtains. Found it to be disorganized, understaffed, and dirty. Will never go there again.

    How much does a tissue paper cost?…read more Today I took my 83 year old mother out shopping to buy a baby shower stuffed animal. Her total purchase was $31. (2 stuffed animals purchased separately) I also purchased 3 baby books totaling $31. My mother asked for one of the stuffed animals to be wrapped in tissue paper to stay clean, and the woman who assisted her was very friendly and very accommodating to her disabled condition. However, the manager, D.Green, who checked us out at the register was reluctant to give us one more piece of tissue paper for the second stuffed animal when my mother asked for it - because it did not make the $20 minimum purchase gift wrap requirement. My mother did not ask for it to be gift wrapped. She asked for a piece of tissue paper, just so the fuzzy animal stayed clean. When the manager told my mother the purchase did not qualify for a piece of tissue paper, I spoke up and said I just bought $31 of books, does that qualify? She replied, 'no, that's on a different receipt' We left without the piece of tissue paper. I called the Store, and coincidently the Manager is who checked us out. I spoke to her because my mother was very upset and is a local resident. I do not live in the area. The manager stated she was following the policy. McCaulou's on Clayton Road just lost a local customer over a 5 cent piece of tissue paper! As a Manager myself I would never argue with a customer over a piece of tissue paper. The woman who wrapped the first gift was great, the Manager, however, needs customer service training as we were not rude or inconsiderate at any time towards her or any staff members.

I immediately started looking through the women's aisle and within the first 5 minutes, I FOUND THE ITEM!!!!! I was screaming inside! I perused through the rest of the aisles and found other good items. This store has a lot of hidden gems!     I went to the store to make a return and had a very upsetting experience with one of the…read moreassociates. From the beginning, she was rude to me. One of the items I was returning did not have a tag, which occasionally happens when items are shipped. She told me, in a harsh tone, that if I ever brought an item without a tag again, the return would not be accepted. I explained that the trousers had arrived that same day and were sent to me without a tag. Her response felt accusatory, as though I had done something wrong. When I mentioned that items should be sent with tags attached, she said she was not responsible and was only enforcing store policy. The situation escalated when she abruptly stopped the return, threw the items she had already processed back toward me, and loudly said, "I will not help you--go to someone else," while making dismissive gestures. I was very shaken and confused by the way I was treated, as I have never attempted to return worn items or abuse the return policy in any way. --She did not greet me when I approached, unlike the other cashiers, and appeared visibly upset. I left the store feeling shaken and had to take a moment before driving away. I asked for her name so I could follow up with a manager, but I was unable to get it. I hope the store can review the security footage to better understand what happened. I believe this situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and respect.

After standing in a long line to the cashier, I asked the lady cashier for a stock check because the shirt I got had loose threads and no other size on the rack. She found one and they need to get it from the stockroom, which would take additional 5-10min. She gave me instructions to pick up the item at the front of the store, on the Collections rack. I thought I could purchase the shirt and wait for it at the front...but no she sent me away. (I didn't understand why I had to leave the cashier after waiting in a long line, pick up the item I was trying to purchase at the front door area, then go back to the cashier again to purchase the item. What a weird process! Never experienced this with other stores.) I had to reiterate, that I just lined up for 10min and I don't want to have to line up AGAIN. She said, "no, you don't line up again. Just go to the side(front of cashier), and WE'LL take you IN FRONT of the line." Ok, I thought that was fair. I left and waited another 5min-10min for the replacement shirt. Walked back to the side of the cashier, front of the line. There was a different cashier, 1 person in line for purchase, and 1 person to the right at Return/Exchange line. The Cashier didn't acknowledge me when he saw me(like "do you have any question, or I'll be right with you.."). When he finished with a customer, I approached the cashier, explained that I picked up the item from stock and I was told to come back to the front of the line. Then he told me with an attitude that,"you just got here and I need to help the person in line." I further explained that I was at the cashier earlier, but was told to leave to pick up the stock and return to the front of the line. He said, with an eye roll, "well, I didn't tell you that." So I stood in line again, and waited for the 3rd time! When he finished with the customer, he wouldn't assist me, and called the other person in line for returns, avoiding me. So I stepped closer again to the cashier, asking for assistance. He moved away from me to use the other cash register, took the other customer, and told me why he wouldn't assist me, "I don't like your attitude." I was surprised..and I answered back, "you don't need to like my attitude, but you guys should know how to follow your "OWN PROCESS AND PROCEDURES." (It's ashamed that you employ a person who can't deliver professional service, who needs more training to follow Zara's OWN process!!!) Maybe if I was instructed to go back in line after waiting for the replacement stock, I would've decided then if: 1-it was worth the wait to go back in line again 2-additional wait time for a replacement stock 3-or purchase the shirt I originally lined up for, but live with the poor quality of loose threads on the seams and collar. I would've went back in line, in peace, and not be harassed by your own employee. No wonder, you guys have 1.5stars on YELP! It's embarrassing. If more customers shopped online, you're jeopardizing the dying practice of professional customer service, and corporate could close down the store, and jobs would be on the line. I'm in customer service so I know how it is to properly treat a paying customer.

He shops at Zara often, so this was a normal visit. After paying, we were given our bag and left the store--but the alarm went off. We immediately stopped and cooperated. Instead of handling it professionally, a staff member approached us in a very rude and accusatory way. We went back to the register, where the cashier confirmed we had paid and printed our receipt. Even after that, the same employee continued to raise her voice, called security, and there was even a police officer present. It was extremely embarrassing. People were staring, and we were treated like we had stolen something--even with proof of purchase. It honestly felt like we were being profiled, which made the situation even worse. To top it off, my husband was told he was banned from the store, despite being a loyal customer. I've worked in retail for over 15 years, and this is not how situations like this should be handled. There's a respectful and professional way to approach customers, and this was not it. We still have our receipt, and management should review the cameras from that time. Very disappointing experience. An apology would go a long way.

Unprofessional staff, terrible policies--save your time and money and shop somewhere else.
