The eye doctor used to be my least favorite doctor visit every year - that's changed since going to Ross Eyecare Group! First, their insurance coordinator Carol Campa provides great customer service that quickly informed me of my insurance coverage and expected out-of-pocket payment for my visit via email. Once I arrived for my appointment, there were no surprise fees! The technicians here are lovely. They are always very friendly and patient with patients as they take their standard vision test. They put me at ease with fun conversation. Lastly, Dr. Mast is wonderful! I've seen him multiple times over the last few years and he is very patient with me and my vision problems. He provides thorough care, such as prescribing me antibiotic eye drops to clear up a dormant infection that was affecting my vision before he finalized my corrective lens prescription. While he makes great suggestions for eye care, he also doesn't pressure patients into choosing certain options for contacts, glasses, contact solution, etc. Overall, a really friendly and knowledgeable doctor that I look forward to seeing! read more

I had more fun coming here than i have had in the past at a Sunday Brunch!! Oh my goodness - where do I even start. So front desk was friendly when i got there. Then Ms. Shanika (Dr Bloom's assistant) came to get me from the front - EXTREMELY friendly and just made me feel so comfortable. We did a few tests and then she sat me in the room for Dr. Bloom. Dr. Bloom is awesome, he is just so honest, and really takes time to answer any questions and tell you what you need vs what you don't need. He values customer service so much and you can tell. I wanted colored contacts (for fun), and Dr. Bloom and Shanika made me feel like i was at Macy's trying on dresses. Shanika was so patient and giving me feedback, almost as though i was her best friend and she wanted to make sure what I picked is what i was looking for. Dr. Bloom said - since i just want them for fashion he will give me testers to start with so that I didn't have to pay for them my first time - WHO DOES THAT!?!!? an honest business!!! After I had my fun trying on contact, Dr. Bloom and Shanika put me in the front to meet with Sandy who was the individual that helped me pick out my frames. Dr. Bloom told me in the beginning - they do not work off of commission - they want what best suites you. HE WAS 100% HONEST. Sandy honored my price range, and there was my second best friend in my visit who wanted to make sure what i walked out with (as far as frame selection made me look and feel good). she was so patient, and worked with me to the point and i knew 100% that the frames I selected were the best fit for me. Overall I can't even put in writing how pleasant my experience was. I will refer all and any business to this office. Not only is it beautiful, but the staff is incredible - beyond incredible. I see some negative reviews - ok great, yea we are all humans and there will always be errors, and when i was there I WITNESSED a patient that was just up at the front - being difficult for no damn reason. I ask that you definitely take those things into consideration with the negative reviews for they did not reflect at all within my experience. Had an eye exam here recently, it was the best eye exam I've ever had.. seemed more thorough than the average exam. They have a wide range of frame prices some high end designers. I never felt I was being sold on anything. The staff are wearing masks. They have been open during the pandemic to be available for patient's needs which I think is amazing. Had eyeglasses ordered there and they came back totally wrong ( they even tried to overcharge me and didn't process my insurance correctly ) ... had to wait an hour to get waited on . Called to set up a time to address the Eyewear they got wrong and insisted I had to co e in and " wait in line " again !!!! Moved to Atlanta (Buckhead) about a month ago, looking for a new eyecare provider. I spent a lot of money on my eyewear every year, and from their website this place seemed decent. Ended up picking out a frame on a Saturday, their selections is okay, not that great for men, a lot of the brands on their website aren't available in the store. Used my insurance VSP, had to correct the optician 2x on my benefits. Told my glasses would come in 7-10 business days. So that came and went, and I called after 14 business days, and they said oh yes they are ready. Again don't know why they didn't call me to say they were ready. Go to pick them up, put my name on a list and I sat there for 30 minutes, and they waited on other customers who came in after me. So I had to leave for another appointment, came back 2 hours later and was finally waited on. They delivered my glasses, asked how they were, and they seemed okay. The optician didn't clean the lenses which were dirty, and gave me an incorrect case for the brand I bought. I'm looking for a new place ....I guess I'm used to a different level of customer service and selection..... read more

Ross Eye Care is easy to deal with. I never have a problem getting an appointment and, in fact, they send me reminders when I'm due for my annual exam. The couple of times I've had an eye infection and needed immediate treatment, they've been able to get me in that day. I've been going to Dr. Mast almost since he's been at Ross Eye Care. He's professional, thorough and congenial as is the staff. I generally get my glasses at the in-house optical shop. You should know they carry upscale frames that tend to be expensive so it might be worth venturing out to expand your choices and lower your price. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in a Store. An associate named Ericka was so rude and told me that"I know the store closes at. 2pm. I had never been to the store before so I didn't know. The whole front desk and the dr. we're standing around gossiping instead of helping me with an appointment or helping me select glasses. Dr. Mast is great, very friendly and interested in helping your eye problems, however I am giving three stars because I consistently encounter such rude customer service from much of the other staff. The front desk and the techs each visit make me feel like I'm not welcome. One didn't say a word to me except for the wall vision test, and was yawning the entire time and rubbing his face, and another was just really short with me for no reason. When I call, I try to be very pleasant and they are still consistently rude. I'm considering changing doctors, because I'm really tired of feeling like I'm stepping on toes when i call for basic things like ordering contacts or making appointments. This is the only doctors office I've ever experienced with bad attitude almost across the board.
