Wow. I saw rating and thought oh must be good. Are you kiddie???? Am I in a hospital. The worst lunch I ever had just look at this? Look at this picture. Hash browns was still raw. Country fried steak look like dog ( shit) food. I'm so angry .. hungry. I haven't eat any of it . Yall need to be shut down.

There's something super comforting about a no frills diner. Served on beige plastic and boasting extremely reasonable prices, what you order at Ross' Diner is exactly what you get - and that's a good thing. My omelet was hard cooked perfectly, the hash browns were nice and crispy and the tea nice and cold. The service was prompt despite the counter being full and I appreciated the friendly banter. Regret not trying a fried pie, but the list of flavored was impressive.

My better half and I completed business at a warehouse in Cartersville and finished in the early afternoon. I had seen reviews about Ross's Diner on Yelp so I suggested we try this diner for lunch. The diner is located in an older building a few blocks off Main St. there is ample parking in front of the restaurant. Upon entry into the diner you are propelled back in time to a classic diner from the '50s. They have only counter seating in a U shaped countertop. The wait staff quickly greeted us and asked for our drink orders. We were presented with menus and gazed at all the breakfast and lunch offerings. My better half ordered the chili dog and chili burger plate. I ordered the Steak & Gravy plate with pinto beans and turnip greens. It includes a homemade biscuit. Both of our meals were delicious diner food. While sitting at the counter, we observed that the wait staff knew the orders for most of the guests who came in after us. The majority of the diners were frequent restaurant guests and likely Cartersville locals. This was an amazing experience to behold because it is rarely encountered in today's world. The great thing was that the staff was friendly and very attentive to us. I returned a few days later and had an early breakfast that was equally good food and service. I highly recommend Ross's Diner anytime you find yourself in Cartersville!

Breakfast orders, shot of interior, some fun magazines, and my glasses. I hope I don't forget them.

This place is everything that I hope for when I think of going to a diner. People are wonderful, food is great, and the menu selections are awesome. Definitely worth the short detour off the interstate. We had breakfast and everything came out exactly as ordered. Coffee was hot, strong, and the cup magically refills itself.

Great little place with Southern charm! The customer service was excellent. The grits and eggs over easy were amazing. The biscuit was a little dry, but overall, it was a great experience. I definitely would come back.

Great breakfast. The food and service was very good. A black coffee, two eggs scrambled, country steak, grits and biscuits with gravy for under $10.00. I wish I lived closer, I would be a regular.

If you want to eat a piece of History this is the place. Went on a Saturday afternoon the Diner was extremely busy the service was exceptional and the staff great attitudes. Had the 1 and 1 there iconic dish, may not be pretty but it's flavorful and and delicious. And you certainly get get bang-for-your-buck here it's worth a try.

Our server was very friendly and we both went with the special for the day. The ambiance is kind of unique. I don't want to ruin it, but it's old school like with a technology twist to it. We sat in the main dining area when something from the ceiling started dripping on us. In addition, the music is much too loud if you are trying to carry on a conversation. Very interesting memorabilia, but that is about the only selling point. Whoever the owner is appears to be giving a nod to the Jim Crow laws in a political way. The bathrooms show "Democrats only" and "Republicans only", and the whole vibe is pro Republican. Most of us have political opinions, but it seems very short sighted of this business to make it so blatant. We will never come back, and I've talked to a number of people who feel the same way. There are much better restaurants in the area whose owners don't interject politics into your dining experience.

As a vegetarian, to have options that were so considerate was absolutely amazing. The waiters were always great and this place is so popular during the week. I made it very clear to the waiter that I'm vegetarian and he was great about being really honest about what can and can't be made vegetarian from the menu. I came twice and the first time I ordered the tomato bisque with grilled cheese as well as the vegetarian option from the weekly specials. Both were incredible, but I was unable to finish the main after having the bisque which was surprisingly filling. If you're vegetarian in Cartersville, there is always at minimum, one vegetarian option here and they are unusually a unique dish that tastes incredible. I also recommend trying their cream sodas. I don't know if I'd get it again, but it was definitely a lot of fun to try. They are not as fizzy as I expected so be warned, but the taste is delicious.
