Our waitress was a older lady super nice in the beginning she actually sat beside us and told us what her favorite dishes were and we told her we needed a minute and she left, my daughter-in-law literally came out of the bathroom and she came over the table and said are you ready yet? I said no we still need a minute. She just got out of the bathroom. When we ordered my son and I ordered the same sandwich, my son asked her can we do an up charge and get the disco fries instead of plain fries? She said yes you can do that. I said I'd like to do that too and she said OK. when our food was brought out my son and I had plain fries when she came back a few minutes later we said these were supposed to be disco fries and she said very rudely well you didn't ask for them like that, my son and I said yes we did and she said you asked me? and we said yes and you wrote it down and she walked away a few minutes later, we get two plates of disco fries, which were delicious. she didn't come back to the table to ever check on us after that and to be honest, I was kind of afraid to ask for anything else. I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was a little dry. I would've liked some extra sauce. We didn't get a bill. We used the little table top thing to pay and when the receipt printed I was like oh my gosh I got charged $20 for two orders of french fries. So my husband asked a younger girl what the cost was for an up charge to disco fries and she said we don't do that and he said oh that would've been nice to know. The funny thing is while we were sitting there the Table next to us ordered got their food and they all three said we're supposed to have the disco fries too. How did the waitress mess up on that. I wasn't happy about having to pay $20 for french fries that just had gravy and cheese. I would not have ordered that them and certainly not two orders. She should've said if you wanted it as appetizer I'll get you the appetizer but no, you can't up charge to disco fries and she didn't have to be so rude.

However, service was REALLY slow.. we waited about 30 minutes for 4 sandwiches, and this was after the lunch rush (ordered around 1 pm, left at 1:30-1:40th). To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! We went all out and got the standard Leo's Meatlover Pie which comes with pepperoni, italian sausage, bacon, mozzarella, meatballs, red sauce and fresh basil. The pie was loaded with a decent amount of meats. The crust was a little soft which is to be expected with all the toppings and the 30 minute ride home after pick up. A quick baking on a pizza stone in our oven improved the "crisp". The pie was pretty good! We are from NY/NJ and have our base expectations set from there. So we are always searching for a good pie. We will try a basic cheese pie next time so we can test each extreme. Will update after that. But for now, we are pleased with what we tried so far. Try it out for yourself.

Very pleasant and wanted to communicate, not just serve us. My wife and I asked for water, and ordered an appetizer of their Mac and Cheese balls. They were awesome. Hot, fresh, stuffed with pasta and warm flavorful cheese. Next we ordered cocktails. My wife ordered a Painkiller. Me an Old Fashion. Taylor recommended I try their version, New Fashion. Made with their mix of a house Bourbon. Man it was good. And the Painkiller? Let's just saw I held my wife hand, and guided her to our vehicle. For our main courses, my wife had the chicken and sausage pasta. I had the Bison Ribeye. Both we would order again without hesitation. The pasta dish was huge. With two breasts and numerous pieces of sausage. Over Fettuccini style pasta, with a lite and flavorful red sauce. It tasted fresh, and rich. She could only eat about a third of it. The rest came home. I ordered my Bison medium rare. The Chef hit it perfectly. Beautiful red meat in the center, nice and warm. So much flavor, and tender. With it I had the potato of the day. They were mashed with the skin. Full of butter, milk, and seasoned. In addition I had a side of creamed spinach. Very rich and deep. The cream tasted similar to a cheese sauce. So good. I brought nothing home. Finished the entire meal there. In addition, because it was our anniversary, the gave us a very nice card. And a piece of cake for dessert. I'm old school enough that as a woman I felt awkward being in an unfamiliar town in a bar full of strangers. Joanne reassured me & checked on me throughout the evening. I had a fabulous Old Fashion, enjoyed the multiple TV's & ended up conversing & laughing with a whole family who were also visiting. First visit to DeVeglio's Fresh Pasta Italian Market, stopped in and picked up an Italian Hero…read more(i.e. Hoagie, Sub, etc.) and their sandwich special of the day, a Veal Parmigiana Hero. I also purchased some of their potato salad and 3 dozen homemade Raviolis (Cheese, Meat, Short-Rib). Both the Italian Hero and the Veal Parmigiana Hero were delicious and full of flavor. DeVeglio's will definitely be my go to for Italian hoagies. The potato salad was equally delicious and a definite reorder in the future. I will have to report back on the homemade Raviolis as they will be eaten for dinner soon. The store had plenty of parking, was extremely clean and well organized and the staff was friendly and helpful.
