I LOVE Roti. I actually drove 35 mins out of my way today for this food. I arrived at 7:45, place closes at 9. I practically had to beg for the person behind the counter to cook me steak since they were "out" as he said. After seeming annoyed that I was placing an order, I had to ask for pita bread. From someone who works in the customer service industry, this was a horrible experience. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Insane good and sooo healthy. Giant salad with protein hummus olives sweet potato roasted broccoli hot sauces pickles onion take any or all of the above. The sauces are all fantastic and all is so fresh. Also the lemonades and ice teas are great- pomegranate blackberry lemon for example. Will come back!!! read more

I like this place better that Naf Naf Grill! Tried them for the first time in Washington DC & loved the food. Fresh food and tasty tea selections to choose from! The reason I did not give 5 stars... the falafel is not the best I've had and the tables were all sticky. The steak is marinated in authentic spices and heavy on the tumeric (my favorite). cooked well with little to no gristle or fat. I'd probably give 5 stars for carryout. read more

When this place first opened, I got a month of free lunches in a contest. I've tried everything on the menu and love it all. After 20 some lunches, I settled in on my favorite dish, a Salad with chicken kabob, tomato/cucumber relish, hummus, cabbage, vegetables, yogurt dill sauce and a pita on the side. If I'm feeling like a high-roller, I go with salmon. It's so good. So good that I ate it nearly every day for a month. read more

This is my second time here, and my only complaint is that there isn't a Roti closer to where I live! The staff are super friendly, and the food is delicious; there's something for everyone. Honestly some of the worst Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. I really hate posting negative reviews but I don't want someone else to waste their time or dollar here. I'm a huge fan of falafel, hummus, couscous, you name it.. all of the sauces included! Wow I wish I knew about this little gem 5 times ago when I was visiting a different Mediterranean grill......the flavors here all mesh with each other it taste fresh and it's just dang good!!! The steak melts in your mouth and the chicken kabob is so soft and juicy, the roti rice was good to , it had flavor ,not to dry not to oily , my husband ordered the rice bowl and I had the wrap, it was just dang amazing and the lemonade and teas on the side by fountain drinks are pretty delishes to, not to mention we ended up going at 540pm on a Sunday and usually places like that aren't to great right before closing and we both throughly enjoyed it, I am in LOVE yummy!!!! read more

I'd give the food 4 stars, not that it was bad but it wasn't the best I've had. It was great for the market that it's in, and excellent portions. The service was outstanding! My fiance and I came in after a bike ride. Never had or heard of the place, but we decided on it since it had an outdoor patio. The gentleman that helped us, possible the manager by what he was wearing, was kind, patient, and extremely helpful since we didn't know much about the place. We then got our food and enjoyed! My bike tire was low so I asked a biker if they had a pump, but unfortunately they didn't. Chris, one of the employees on break eating outside, said he had a pump in his car that hooked into the car he could grab. Not only was he a huge help, it was a pleasure talking to him as well. I love Roti and go often to eat there. I mostly eat downtown and have had great experiences there. I come to the Oakbrook one every once in a while. The last time I was there for lunch I got the chicken roti rice plate. The food was delicious and fresh and most of the workers were nice. I give it 2 stars because the female manager in the grey shirt was rude and pushy. I felt like I was a bother to her. I didn't feel good customer service. And they only had one drink size. As a frequent customer at this location, I must say I am disappointed. It seems that every time I go there that the portion size for the rice plate is getting smaller and smaller. This last time I was able to see empty spots all over my plate. First of all, the rice was served from the bottom and was dry and hard. When I asked if there was any more, the employee just shrugged and smiled and did nothing about it. The amount of cabbage and cucumber served was not even enough to cover serving spoon! For $8+ not worth it! The meats are not hot and fresh and they serve less than a spoonful! Not to mention that last year they reduced the pita size as well...but the price keeps getting higher. When they first opened it was great! Reasonable price per portion. Now, they don't seem to care that this is an issue based on the previous reviews regarding the same. I had Roti for the first time today! Excellent lunch. The chicken was moist and all of my side went perfectly, especially the hummus. It felt very healthy, but also very filling. Falafel and rice plate moist on the inside, crisp on the inside as it should be. The cabbage slaw nice pickled flavor. Uber eats delivered my meal to the hotel happy hour where everyone else was stuck with meat based chili. I give this one star reluctantly! We went on a Friday night @ 6 and the chicken kebab appeared to have been in the steamer all day. Gross. Everything just sucked. The bread was as dry as as a hockey puck, the pickles were way to brined for my liking..The food was served cold. The hummus had a weird taste on the vegetable pizza. The cheese pizza tomato sauce was so acidy it was basically uneatable. The three workers were having a good time that they dropped a pizza. I was surprised they didn't try to serve it to us. I vary rarely give a 1 star. But in this case..everything was just....off? Walked in with my family. Stood by the register to order and everyone just stared at us. NO words, just staring. Finally someone said hello to us but then kept walking towards the back? Was anyone going to take our order??? So after asking who I place an order with a mousey girl walked up and with the quietest voice started talking. She was very young, maybe this was her first job? I got the Chicken Roti, which is the equivalent to chicken shawarma, in a salad bowl. The chicken was SOOOO fatty, there was one piece that was all fat and another string that held 7 or 8 pieces of chicken together. I stopped eating because chicken fat shouldn't exist on a breast of meat if it were trimmed properly. There's nothing worse that biting into your salad and chewing on a piece of chicken fat. I opted for a few falafel...they were so mushy on the inside and tasted off. Almost sweet? I couldn't do it. While my dish smelled amazing, the chicken turned me WAY off. I'm super disappointed but if you truly want amazing and fresh Mediterranean Shawarma or kabab, head over to Pinched. Wentthere on a Saturday night. The Chipotle and Barbicue place next door were full, while in Roti there was only 2 people. We like mediterranean and organic. win win. But, little we knew. When it was time to get the food, the chicken portion was very small and they filled the plate with salad (fine for me); my husband got a salmon skewer so he had to wait while i ate; my son wanted chicken and rice, they served his chicken with burned things that made it look like charcoal grilled. They said the will bring the rice to the table. When my husband got his salmon skewer, it looked great, but he had the first bite, and it was RAW inside. He brought it back, so they made a new one. The guy that made it the second time told us they were sorry but the rice was going to take 10 more minutes, and later on said 10 more minutes because they had to make a new batch. AFTER 20 MINUTES WAITING FOR THE RICE WE HAD ALREADY PAID (unbelievable), a couple walked in and after they ordered, they told them they were running out of food, so they gave them 2 coupons for free food next time. The laziest of the workers, came to us and told us: "we are sorry, but the rice didn't come out good...do you want anything else? for free?here is a coupon for next time" WOW. I was amazed by her frozen expression and by her words. We payed +8 for a plate with chicken and rice, we got a little chicken and no rice, but a coupon for NEXT time? She walked away and stand at the counter with a guy that asked her, why did you do that?, she said, well, i the rice doesn't look good. We left and will never go back. read more

I went in around 11:30am this morning. I got a chicken kabob platter. The chicken kabob as I expected to be a little hot atleast. As they just opened 30 mins ago so I thought it would be nice and hot. I spent $40+ got 5 platters, the chicken was served super cold, the rice was cold aswell. Also the quantity he was adding in the plate didn't even fill up the whole plate at all. My plate literally looks empty. I was really not happy with the service. This is the worse Roti location I have been to. I love the food that they make but everytime I come to this location my food is very cold. I don't understand why they don't have fresh food at this location. It seems as if its been sitting there for hours. I ordered dinner to go for my husband and I. They sent us a buy one get one coupon so we thought we would try it. Ordered one chicken rice plate and one steak. The chicken was dry and the steak tasted bad and chewy. The hummus was bland, the veggies were cold and stale, and the rice was not good either. The only thing that was decent was the pita bread. The eggplant side was good but tasted too sweet like they put too much sugar. I would not go back. None of these "chipotle" style Mediteranean places have been able to get it right. read more

I love Roti. We started going to the one downtown close to the train station. We stummbled across it walking back to the train and were immediately hooked. The concept is similar to QDoba or Chipotle, where you pick your protein, how you want it presented (rice plate, pita, etc), your sides/veg, and toppings. We were happy to find out there's one in Oakbrook and it didn't disappoint! Their falafel was flavorful and moist, the cucumber & tomato and the red cabbage salads were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Roti. My only complaint, there isn't one near me in St. Louis. read more
