This is hands down my favorite restaurant. We get the cheese bread pizza for the table and maybe get another pie but the pizza is usually enough for me, my wife, and 2 year old. The service is always great and the drinks are always full. Another great feature is the game is always on and they will change it if not. The pizza had raw veggies, the cinnabites had no cinnamon or sugar, the wings had no sauce on them and no dipping sauce either, the cheesesticks had no cheese. This was our first time trying out this restaurant. We walked over from Discount Tire while we got a tire fixed. It's convenient for one, but the food was absolutely delicious. I spent the day shopping by myself and decided to sit down and treat myself to a peaceful lunch, since the weather was nice I asked to be seated outside. Thankfully, the hostess seated me and the table was meant for 6 people. No biggie. Shortly after I was seated, a woman(customer) came out to the patio and asked if I was using the other half of the table(they weren't connected but pushed together), I told her no and that she was welcomed to it. Thinking it was just her and I'm assuming her husband. Well her husband said no we can't sit there, we'll sit inside. He said the hostess said it was unavailable. They bickered and ended up sitting outside at the table connected to mine. THEN another woman (employee) came out and set up another table to me to sit at with just one chair and mentioned that the people sitting next to me were a party of 8! I was happy to move tables because it was sort of awkward because the man and wife were bickering about the seatings. Also, how were 6 other people going to sit here? The manager Ashley came and took my order and it was out nice and promptly. This is my favorite pizza place to eat at and I don't get to visit often being that I live about 45 minutes away. So the whole table situation I shrugged off. When it was time for me to pay and head out, Ashley let me know that she was sorry for the situation and no one should have to move seating. She let me know that if the other party didn't offer to take care of my meal then they would. I really wasn't expecting anything from the restaurant but they exceeded my expectations by a million. The service at this place is rude at best. We were seated on the patio. They have umbrellas in places with absolutely no tables. Since it's 96 degrees we tried to move them umbrellas with no help from staff while they just looked on. Moderately busy, It took almost 40 min to get a drink. The staff was unfriendly, and SO busy they gave our drinks away to other tables on the way to our table and then we were short drinks after waiting that long. This is an amazing restaurant. The service is always on point and there is always a manager to be seen. They have a fairly extensive pizza menu that should satisfy most. The bruschetta is one of my favorites there along with the Parmesan bites. I give 5 stars to our waitress/bartender Arreol. She was very attentive and personable. I would go back just to hang out and talk to her. She went above and beyond and probably thought we were a little demanding, but we weren't trying to be. Let's get into the food. 4 stars for the pizza and calzone. The flavor of the toppings was really, really good but I would prefer the pizza be a little thinner and crispier and the toppings come all the way to the edge of the crust. Hubby wasn't crazy about the calzone, he thought it was too doughy. I loved the flavor of the herbs and spices on top of the calzone as well as the flavor and freshness of the ingredients. Beer was cold, which is a huge plus in my book. The atmosphere in general in this place was wonderful. If management reads this: you need to give Arreol a raise! She was awesome! I was in Tyler visiting some family and we stopped by this Rotolos for dinner. The ingredients are fresh and the dough is always crispy/poofy. The Chalmette sticks are my favorite, a perfect combo of savory and spicy. The staff is attentive and food comes out quick. The store itself is a great combo of modern and homey. But really the beer selection is on point! So many local beers!!! Next time I"m in Tyler I'll definitely hit them up! read more

Ate there yesterday with a small group of 3 as it is very convenient if you are out & about in the shopping center. We also enjoy eating outside, especially during a pandemic scare. Entering the door we were seated promptly; it was way after the lunch crowd. Entering the building I was not impressed with cleanliness; floors seem to be dirty & the table closest to the front had not been bussed even though there were plenty of employees & it was not busy. We were seated outside, where we requested but the table appeared to be unclean. It was right by the fence where they had a floor rug hanging over the side, not only blocking my outside view but it is just gross having a dirty rug at eye level a few feet from your face while you are eating. There were other things against the fence on the concrete too; it just looked unkept. Our waitress was friendly & took our order in a timely manner. The pizza was unfortunately very disappointing. This was our first time out to eat since being sheltered & we were so looking forward to over doing it by a few slices. We ordered an 18" to share but did not even eat 2 slices a piece. The middle of the pizza was way undercooked & the crust was soggy. I actually cut off the bottom 3-4 inches of each piece, scraped off the topping & put it higher up on my slice. All in all, attention to detail is lacking here. We probably won't be back. read more

I have always loved Rotolo's. The Pizza is great. The service is usually just fine. But the last time we were there, our server was very attentive, but then he became very aloof. We had a coupon, and my family was having a round table political conversation. So I am not sure if he didn't like the coupon or the conversation, but he was lucky he got a generous tip. read more

I love this place, the pizza is always good and filling. I can hardly get 2 pieces in before I'm full! It's a decent price for real pizza. But tonight. As I was finishing eating someone ran by me throwing up across the restaurant running for the bathroom. Then the waitress gets the mop and barely touches it, chunks left all over the floor. And then she walked on the chunks and took our plates. Defiantly not sure about coming back after this experience. But I was completely disgusted. I know of course the restaurant and staff can't help if people get sick but to just barely put the mop on the floor then walk on the chunks LEFT ON THE FLOOR. Just no. read more

After waiting 10 minutes for a server, then 20 minutes for our appetizer, THEN another 15 minutes for our entrees...we were severely disappointed. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan and I asked for the muffletta. What arrived at our table was a bowl of spaghetti with several chicken strips covered in a skinny strip of sauce and a 6in sandwich cut in two that was DRY AS HECK! How do you serve a dry muffletta?! The drinks we ordered to be delivered with our meal did not show up until my husband was halfway through. Granted...it was busy. But it is a sign of poor management to not have enough well trained servers on the floor on a Friday night. I waited tables for 10 years so I know good service versus poor service. It was my first visit here with my 3 kids on 7/9/16. We were seated immediately. Loved it! Waited and waited and waited and so 15 minutes in, I grabbed one of the waitresses and asked when someone planned to come by and take our drink order. She sent a guy over. Ordered our drinks and one 14" pizza. My kids were good, the girls were coloring and my son was watching the game. An hour later our pizza comes out. But during this hour I was really upset watching the waiters/waitresses play and giggle. It was obvious they weren't at work. No one stopped by to check on us until my son blurted out that the pizza had better dusted with flecks of gold. I could hear other customers complaining. I could hear a waitress tell another waitress while laughing that she forgot to take a table their drinks. The pizza was good. Your service is horrible. We won't be back. read more

Pizza is delicious, super attentive waiter and got me anything I needed. He even let me move tables because I was seated by the bathrooms and the smell wasn't so great. Appreciate the service! Updating my review. Went to the bar and ordered food to go and got home and it was wrong, I ordered eggplant parmigiana, got shrimp and eggplant Alfredo instead, that I did not enjoy in the slightest. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan bites and they were dry with just a little bit of parm sprinkled on them. Oh, and the female bartender was giving all the "cute" men free beer, (I personally saw her give one guy 3 free beers) with a wink and a smile...I would imagine owners wouldn't appreciate that. Management needs to retrain staff and possibly needs to make themselves more visible. read more

We walked into a restaurant that was only half full, with more waitstaff than customers, and sat there for at least ten minutes without even a simple greeting. The waitstaff was all around us, doing cleanup, chatting together at the host table, but never a concern for their first duty of helping customers. Really enjoyed our lunch. Our waitress Jessie suggested the 1/2 Angry Pig and 1/2 Krewe. Both sides were delicious. The 12" pizza was more than enough for two. But we did enjoy an order of the garlic Parmesan bites as an appetizer. Those were amazing! Our son got the kids' Spinach Alfredo and he loved it. Said it was the best he ever had. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and well laid out. We finished with a couple of scoops of gelato. Total check was only $33. Overall it was a great meal. This place was great when it first opened. Slowly it deteriorated, there is plenty of staff but few who actually work or know about service. The ones that do work are spread thin and only able to give mediocre service at best. The counters and tables are dirty (and there aren't many customers), all they need is a healthy wipe down. The bruschetta here used to be amazing now they don't chop the garlic too much (see pic), luckily I love garlic otherwise it would have been inedible. If management and or the owners don't figure this out soon I fear they won't be around much longer. read more

Going from 1 to 5 stars might make it seem like I'm bipolar, but I can assure you I'm not. The new owners and employees have the store running quite well now, and the draft selection has improved by expanding to more local brews. They have also brought back Texas Tuesday, which means you get $2 off all Texas brews on tap on Tuesday evenings. This is a great idea to help promote the crafts over the typical adjuncts that most people feel safe with and shows their dedication to our local breweries. read more

Went in on Tuesday December 6th at 1pm. Our waiter was very friendly and got our drinks to us quickly (we had a fussy 18 month old). Overall we had a great experience. The pizza was really good, although it did take a bit to get out to us but it was well worth the wait. read more

Good tasting pizza, ok service but overpriced drinks. Tucked away at a far corner of the development, I was pleasantly surprised with the fresh ingredients and taste of our pizza. It puts other restaurants to shame. Severs are a bit hit and miss, so take your chances there. Bar is well overpriced, wine is apparently liquid gold judging by their pricing, otherwise no complaints. read more
