We bowled on lane 16 this past Sunday. These might be the dirtiest lanes we ever bowled on. Our hands were black after bowling and not to mention our bowling balls had scratches and gouges in the covers. The establishment itself was clean. They need to take a hard look at their lane maintenance team. AMF should be embarrassed. The other AMF/Bowlero houses in the valley do a significantly better job maintaining the lanes. read more

My friends and family love to bowl, especially here at AMF. Although this time it was a little different. We go in, pay and are told tonights unlimited bowling time. as time goes on the bowler across from us leaves and tells us we can use his lane since there was 5 of us and one of him. We use his lane and the bowlers on the other side see this and complain to this lady who I believe is their mom but also works there.. she then has it shut off. MIND YOU one of their people came and started playing on the same lane we were playing on(lane that the guy let us play on/ gave us.. we also shared the booth with him). they shut it off okay? no big deal we were playing with just one before.. but then ours gets shut off. When we go to the front to ask.. the lady simply says "you guys have more time but we ended it"... but why? "did you guys still want to play"? like not anymore thanks. just all around mean girl, snotty, inconsiderate people. read more

I have been trying out various alleys to find the best one near me. Out of the 6 I have tried, this one gave me the worst bowling experience by far. The lanes were absolutely dry, not sure if it was by design, but my ball would return dry as a bone. Then after a few throws the lane would keep malfunctioning over several games. The pins would reset with pins missing or just plainly the lane would shut down often delaying further play by several minutes each time. After three games or so, I was finally offered to finish my remaining games on the next lane. The staff was courteous and friendly, though I had noticed other bowling alleys being far more attentive and accommodating by comparison. I was hoping for more from this alley, but sadly no... Not mad, just disappointed. This experience could've been just dumb luck as it was my first and only time here, though not sure it's worth the price to find out. read more

So weird. We came in as a large party (12, 6 per lane) and I asked to be on a separate lane for my 4 year old and I, just because he can be impatient and that way he can do his own thing. What looked like a manager? Button up and all, he said, "it's a Saturday so I wouldn't want to have to TAKE the lane from you, I say just have him bowl for someone and I won't charge you for shoes." I'd never been to this location, but it was good! It was nice and clean, the lanes were clean looking and not overcrowded, the balls were labeled and placed correctly by size and weight, and the employees were all attentive to our needs. When I've been to another AMF everyone was so busy, regardless of where they needed to go, they ran past you and gave you no mind. I went with my littles and my cousin and he littles, so it was a group of 6 of us. We purchased a Groupon that was redeemable any day minus Saturday's after 6pm and it was perfect. It was $45 for 2 hours for 6 of us (included shoes). Sometimes bowling can be expensive. Mid-game we asked them to put the safety rails up for us because the kids were having trouble with gutter balls - and it was quick and painless. The woman who came up was very nice. We ordered pizza (it was super string cheesy - like in commercials), some wings and garlic fries. All (if you like the greasy bowling alley type of food) was so gooood! They offered us a pitcher of water to bring to our table instead of having to go back up and refill the little cups for all of us too, so that was nice. I visited this location about a week ago on a weekend late evening and I must say the environment and staff astounded me. I hadnt come to this location for 3 years because my last experience was horrible. However this trip was certainly a breath of fresh air!! The bowl desk staffs warm hospitality made me comfortable and the manager Michelle ensured that my experience was top-of-the-line, although i had a small tab and i was alone. Haven't been bowling in a few years, so decided to take the kids out for AMFs "Early Bird Special" ($2/person per game. Not including shoes). It came out to about $50/$60 for 6 people and 2 games. That was a great deal. I thought it would be packed, but it was about 3/4 capacity. Clean shoes. Clean lanes. And the staff was exceptional, especially Paige and Sue. Paige was patient with helping my kids find the right size of shoes and was laughing with a smile on her face the whole time. Sue dropped by to see how we were doing and gave us some info about Family Leagues and competitions. The Nacho Avalanche was tasty. My son tripped and fell into the table and knocked half of it on to the floor though. Talk about nacho avalanche, lol. The Long Island Iced Teas were BIGGER than I expected for $6 and gave me a nice warm buzz. The bar tender was new, so it took her a sec to figure out how to make them, but she was sweet and provided excellent service and great drinks. Great family bonding activity. Tip; On Sunday nights after 6 pm, Games are $2.50 each. Shoes are also $2.50. Our family of five bowled together in one lane. Almost every lane was full. We enjoyed 2 order of fries $5 each. They were pricey but typical of a bowling alley. Going through 10 games took us about an hour and 45 minutes, Because we brought 3 pairs of our own bowling shoes, our family summer activity was $42. This bowling alley has cool graphics on the screens. They broadcast music videos and sports games. The balls are a little beaten up, and it was hard to find the correct fit for our fingers. Maybe Foursquare was right, and checking in at bowling alleys is just one step away from "crashing some eight-year-old's birthday party". I sure feel that way here, at quite possibly the most kid-friendly AMF ever. Little rascals were scurrying about everywhere, even though it was roughly 9 at night. I tiptoed my way to the bar (tucked in to a far off corner) for a bit for a reprieve. Not much selection, but $1 whiskey sours at the time. Those can get you in trouble. Despite being a large building, the restroom was single-service, with quite the line. Inconvenient. The lanes themselves were as good as they needed to be, although you can tell by the dullness of the floors this is one of the older establishments. Overall, I don't mind this place, it just seems less fun for adults than other AMFs I've been to. I'll make my way toward Bell road instead now. read more

Nice clean bowling alley with good food and good service. They have plenty of loaner bowls to choice from and the lanes are well maintained. The only negative I could find about this place is the bumpers for the kids are manual so if you are playing with the kids the bumpers are either up or down. read more
