Never really checked in because I was left waiting. I tried to order when I was outside and they left me on hold. I guess they didn't need my business. I ended up eating pizza from another pizza spot called Prime Pizza. Not a huge wait or hold time And it was really good. This was my first visit to this location. It is currently under new management. I did not get to experience the old management, but those working there now are great. My family has been going here for 18 years and used to rave that this was the BEST pizza. Recently we brought home pizza as takeout and when we arrived home we opened the box to find burnt inedible pizza. Upon calling we were promised a free pizza the next time we ordered, they were apologetic told us they had someone new in the kitchen. However, on the next visit when we ordered and arrived to get our comped pizza they changed their mind and would not honor what they had told us. Called ahead to let them know we were a party of 54 coming in. They accommodated us well. We pre-ordered 5 pizzas to be ready when we got there and then we would order the rest. I will not order delivery from this location again.How on earth can you charge $25 for a small pizza that was delivered 20 minutes late, the driver wasnt ready to take a credit card payment and to add insult to injury, the pizza was cold! That is not cool. Three miles to deliver is not far. I was told that the manager will be calling to resolve the issue. We'll see.. Next time I'll order Domino's. It's less than a mile away. I write this review with a heavy heart. I always loved Round Table Pizza and had not had it in years. So I decided to order through Doordash. A simple order: 6 twists (with ranch and marinara) and a Caesar salad with chicken. What I got was something straight out of a cafeteria. Never would I have expected to get such small pathetic looking twists, with barely any cheese or garlic in them, and they forgot the ranch to boot! On top of that, the marinara sauce had some white stuff floating in it. I'm no chef, but I don't think that's supposed to be there. Then came the crowning achievement of this miserable order, the chicken Caesar salad. Yet, there was no chicken, no Caesar dressing, no croutons. What I did get was a handful of wilted Romain lettuce and some dry parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Not sure who thought this was a good idea, but clearly charging $10 for a box of old lettuce is a money maker. Not sure how long-term that is though. Thankfully, Doordash customer service took care of this order (and I still tipped the driver for his trouble), but I will never order from this Round Table again. 2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 328/365 It's a tradition for me and my man to get pizza for dinner on lazy Sundays. Decided to order takeout from this Round Table last night. My boyfriend ordered online. We got a large pizza, 1/2 Smokehouse Combo, 1/2 Hawaiian. We also ordered garlic sticks and 2 sides of ranch. I believe he paid online, and it said it would only take 20 minutes. We got there right around the 20 minute mark, and the pizza was ready! We were in and out in less than a minute. The place was easy to get to and there was ample parking in a lot out front. Pizza was delish! I really enjoyed the cheese. I kinda felt like they skimped out a little on the pineapple on my Hawaiian, but it's ok. My boyfriend's Smokehouse Combo was perfect. We also really enjoyed the garlic sticks. We're used to the small ones they offer during their lunch buffet, but found out that the sticks you get when you actually order a side of them are like twice as big. Definitely a plus and worth it since it comes with 6 for $7! Overall, pretty pleased with this Round Table. Super easy to order, and was ready when they said it would be. 4 stars! read more

I'm worried. I grew up with Round Table and it's becoming all too apparent that the number of locations is gradually shrinking. Increasingly surrounded by Papa John's, Domino's, and other mediocre mega chains, Round Table is the ONLY big chain that has always, and continues to stand head and shoulders above the rest. Yes, Round Table is a bit more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for folks. In terms of quality and variety (try the Maui Zaui or Italian Garlic Supreme?), they can't be beat. I love this place. It is big enough to welcome large groups and plenty of booths to accommodate the 1-4 groups. For those that have kids into video games there's a room with a few arcade games. There's also a TV over the arcade room usually tuned into sports. I have yet to experience any bad moments here and since I'm here often enough most of the staff seems to know me already. Sad. Anyway, I have heard one of the cashiers yell through the phone at some people so it's not exactly a Disney experience all the time. Buffet (Lunch) Hours: In more recent times I have noticed the "premium" pizza make its way to the buffet hours. The lunch crowd has picked up more and more, but there is still a place to sit for almost any group. As soon as you walk through the doors you walk forward all the way towards the salad bar and then around it to the cashier. Unfortunately that's pretty much the same path as the hoards of hungry people take to reach the pizza. So expect a lot of traffic during the buffet hours. Non-Buffet Hours: It gets calm and isn't as loud as the lunch hours. That means no all you can eat pizza. Came here w/the bf last night (Sunday night) it was around 7:45 pm and we just randomly stopped by. The place had a few guest but nothing big. We ordered a large pep pizza and an order of spicy buffalo wings. Everyone was nice and attentive. Soda dispenser was low and when we asked for them to replace it they did immediately. We got our pizza not long after and since this was my first time having Round Table Pizza for me it was soooo good. The flavor was fresh and the cheese was stringy like in the commercials. :) The wings were spicy! I can hold the hotness of peppers and this was up there with HOT! They were GREAT! When it comes to a franchise, our go to was Domino's, cheap and easy but we took a chance on Round Table, read it on the Burbank Restaurant FB page it was good, and it is!!! So fantastic!! I don't know what it is about it..maybe its the cheese that they use (because its usually extra cheesy)..or its the abundance of toppings..it is just AWESOME..and addicting! I always order an XL King Arthur!! You have go for the gusto when getting Round Table!! If you aren't looking to eat one type of pizza..then check our their lunch buffet. RTP prides itself for creating pizza selections with toppings catering to "Grown ups" and the sophisticated food types. Thats all fine and dandy but I want to give praise a some suggestions about their lunch buffet... Unmatched food-to-cost ratio. Unlimited pizza, salad, and bread sticks is on their LIMITED menu for the buffet. Shakey's and Peter Piper Pizza offer a much wider selection of food besides the usual pizza and salad. This is not to say that Round Table does isn't quality stuff...in fact, all 3 items are done very well. Other buffet spots carry mediocre at best food selection and never truly does any one item well. I love that you can request a particular topping or combination of toppings on the pies. There are days where all the seats are packed it takes 5-10 minutes and sometimes even longer to get a new pie. This needs to improve as many of us need to eat as much as we can with a 30 minute lunch. SUGGESTION: Have at least 3 kind of pizza out there at all times (CHEESE, MEAT SELECTION, and a COMBINATION). This formula will just about satisfy every patron's basic taste preference. Secondly, offer a pasta choice in the event we are not in the mood for pizza. So I live in La Crescneta and always go to La Canada's Round Table. There has never been any problems it is great. I was in Burbank and decided to get my usual Gourmet Veggie pizza, to go, from this location. when I entered the place, there wasn't anyone to take my order so I had to wait... Then this gentleman appears from the back, I'm assuming he was the manager since he didn't take my order and waited for the cashier to come out and I had to go over my order again. I take the pizza to my friend's house, I open the box, and it did not have the amazing smell and looks that it always has when I get it from La Canada The pizza was not edible either. Besides the fact that it was cold, it did not have all the usual toppings on it, and the crust was burnt. The next morning I call and tell them what happened, and the manager tells me that he was not there the night before even though I saw him. So the gentleman offers to give me a free Gourmet Veggie pizza, the same size as I have previously ordered, and I could pick it up at 11:15 AM. I explain to him how I live far and could not make it to Burbank at that time, and I will call him before I come. He started laughing, told me to let him know beforehand and he will get it ready for me in 5 minutes. My parents happened to be in Burbank, So I told them to go grab the pizza, also sent them a picture of my receipt and the burnt pizza that I got the night before. When my parents got there the pizza was not ready, so they had to wait for it. He gives my parents the pizza, it tastes amazing as it always should, still missing white onions on it. the red onion slices are too thick, BUT...the pizza tastes the way it should. A simple apology would have earned them another star. Oh also, the salad buffet did not have black olives. Honestly, I would drive all the way from Burbank to La Canada, just for the better service and polite staff. The pizza here is great, but compared to other places it is rather expensive. The lunch buffet is so-so. This place used to be one of my favorite places years ago, back when it was larger and had the air hockey table. It is still decent now, but it is unfortunate that they had to give up half of their space to Quiznos. If you want good pizza and don't mind paying more for it, then I say check this place out! I would like to start with how much I've always loved Round Table. I grew up on Round Table pizza. Unfortunately, this location stands out on its own for all the wrong reasons. Upon arriving (around 8:30pm) we stood at the front counter for a while before a guy finally saw and came and stated, "oh I'll go get someone to help you". We stood there for another 3-4 minutes and then decided we would go finish the errands we needed to do quick and come back. We only went back because, well, there's nothing else in that area to eat. Normally this would have been a loss of $30 for the owners. When we arrived, we didn't have to wait this time as the worker was out front. We placed our order and came back 15 minutes later to pick it up. Excited for pizza, we opened the box, gazed down at the pie and picked our slices. We took a few bites and finally fessed up, " this is the worst pizza we have all EVER had". I don't know how, but this has no flavor at all. So here I am with a group of people trying to figure out what to go get for dinner, because were not eating the pizza. Bad service, bad food... You've been warned. read more

Two points to bring up here. 1) Bad service at the counter. We would ask for extra sauce on the pizza. We would be very specific about this. We were always polite to the person taking the order. They never ever did it. We went back 3 times, asked for the same pizza three times, and never got what we ordered. When I brought the pizza up and showed this to the staff, they just said, "the Cook says that there was extra sauce on it." I don't really find that kind of attitude acceptable when I'm the one who's paying for it. 2) The dining room was a wreck. I have yet to ever walk into that place and find the tables clean and bussed. I'm not just saying this out of spite. I'm saying this because that's what I saw when I walked into the place at three different times. Take this review for what it's worth, but there are other locations that do much better than this and are happy to have your business. I am a bit biased, as I grew up getting Round Table delivery in La Canada... and quite frequently. Of all the pizza chains, Round Table has stood above the rest, and truly has withstood the test of time. All the other joints make you feel funky afterwards... Papa John's sucks, Pizza Hut/Domino's/Little Caesars are all trash. The runner-up I would say is Big Mama's & Papa's... but I digress... This location has ALWAYS been consistent with getting our orders right, making a quality pizza, cutting the thing well, and accepting our coupons and giving us the best deal possible. The pizzas are tasty, quality, and while they are pricier than the other chains, you get what you pay for... just make sure to couple it with a coupon, and you'll feel better about it! read more
