Let me introduce you to someone, General Manager MIGUEL! He is the general manager of the Round Table Pizza here in Cathedral City. As an older man who has been involved in sales, marketing real estate, managing a call center, etc, I can tell you from experience that the way customer service is offered greatly affects business. I am a proud member of a local chorus, "MODERN MEN" and we frequently, very frequently, are in need of food for our various rehearsal events and pre-concert gatherings. After sitting through an all day, Saturday rehearsal., eating pizza that really shouldn't be called PIZZA, I took it upon myself to find a better option, and a friend reminded me of Round Table Pizza, which I hadn't had in years. To my delight, it was delicious and our group of men devoured it. Fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and they are not stingy with toppings. However, what really made the difference, is that when I need to order a large amount of pizzas, a lot of restaurants almost act like they don't want your money and they don't want the headache of handling large orders. NOT MIGUEL! He took the time, to not only help me configure my order to make sure that there was enough food for everyone, which he is brilliant at, and now our sectional meeting tonight will be our fourth or fifth time eating their delicious pizza at the Round Table here in Cathedral City. To say that MIGUEL goes the extra mile is a great understatement. My experience each time with this location and with MIGUEL and friendly staff, reminds me of another time, when you would go to the pizza parlor, and it was more than just about getting cheap pizza, but it was an entire event for friends and family with quality pizza, at an affordable price. Was just in there and I understand 12am store closes but we were dinning and it's 11:45pm have been there for an hour already about to leave and the worker come to tell us he has closed the bathroom already. Why would you do that we are paying customer dinning in and with no notice they just closed the bathrooms and it's not even 12 yet. I have not been to Round Table Pizza since they got rid of the pizza lunch buffet. Well today I decided to try the one topping pizza, salad bar and a drink for $14.95. I was actually able to make quite a big salad on the plate which was very good and everything was fresh and ordered a one topping sausage pizza which was also very good and made fresh. It was nice to sit in there as I was pretty much the only person sitting at a table as most people were grabbing pizzas to go surprisingly the staff there was also very friendly. Rewrite We tried the lunch special probably six months ago and it was just ok. The service seemed not happy and a bit like they did not want us there. When we asked for a to go box they said that It isn't included ( a bit rude) with the lunch special. We both discussed how the lunch made us not feel so great afterwards and forgot about the place. I recently gave the lunch another try with similar bad results and not sure about the staff maybe family, I do not recommend the lunch special and the lettuce is probably treated with something preservative. First off the pizza looks amazing! I know this is a pizza chain so I consider this to be what I call "Fast Food Pizza" but for me this is the best "Fast Food Pizza" money can buy. The crust is a little soft but it's also crispy, it's not a New Haven crust but is damn good. If you follow me then you know I like a little grease and this place didn't disappoint. The sauce was super good, the cheese was great and the pepperoni were almost a little spicy! Overall the pizza was not bad at all, especially for what I call "Fast Food Pizza" Next time I will maybe order my pizza a little well done, yes I will absolutely be back! There's nothing more nostalgic than good 'ol Round Table pizza. I recently made a pretty large order from Round Table in Palm Springs for a bachelorette party. We had a number of dietary restrictions in the group (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free) so it was nice to find an eatery that catered to each. They also happened to be the only pizza joint with gluten free crust in the area! Our order consisted of garlic knots, a large Gourmet Veggie, a large Chicken & Garlic Gourmet, and a personal sized gluten free version. Both pizzas were 5/5. Here's a quick breakdown! Gourmet Veggie: Artichoke hearts, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, red & green onions. Chicken & Garlic Gourmet: Grilled white meat chicken, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes, red & green onions, Italian herb seasoning, and creamy garlic sauce. I've been ordering from the Cathedral City store for many years. Somewhere you'll find 5 star reviews from me. I allow for bad days because no one will get it right 84% of the time. Unfortunately those days seem to be gone.Today is not my 1st poor experience recently. Wrong sauce, wrong crust, insufficient cheese to hold the toppings, insufficient sauce to hold the toppings. Today? Super extra golden brown with some charred spots. I didn't take a photo of the cinnamon twists but they're missing about half the cinnamon and glaze. Round Table is probably my favorite pizza chains because of their specialty pizzas. This review is based on the special gourmet pizzas only. We ordered delivery during memorial day weekend and got our pizza delivered within an hour. The Maui Zaui is my favorite and I'm willing to pay a lot for it since these pizzas are pretty expensive. We also ordered a large of the Gourmet Veggie Pizza and the Italian Garlic Supreme and those were amazing as well. The total for 3 large specialty pizzas plus all taxes, fees and tip came out to be around $150 so they are not a cheap pizza joint. I wish it were a bit cheaper but the quality of their pizza is great. If you want a basic cheese or pepperoni pizza, you're better off ordering elsewhere since they will be similar to dominos. I wouldn't get anything else besides a specialty pizza here. read more

I went to Round table pizza today, I ordered a king Arthur's supreme with anchovies, when I got home and was gonna have a slice, I noticed that there were only two very small pieces of anchovies on the pizza, I called back to the store to let them know, because if they ran out, they should have let me know when I arrived, and taken the extra charge for anchovies off. I ordered the family feast and was shocked by how much the price had increased. I've been a fan for 40 years and typically order the specialty pizza, Garlic Lovers supreme. It was always jam packed with meat, mushrooms and garlic...oh the garlic! TMI alert-I'd typically be burbing it the remainder of the evening. But last nights delivery sure did disappoint. I received a paid invoice in my email. When I picked up the order the cashier said I owed $1.63. I said I didn't understand because I paid online. STAY AWAY! Worst customer service I've experienced in years. The stupidity of their business decisions are mind boggling. I tried to download their iOS app but it wouldn't download. That's not their fault. So I ordered online on their website. I go to pick it up and my large pizza with pepperoni, MUSHROOMS and yellow onions. But it was now pepperoni, GREEN ONIONS and yellow onions. I told the cashier that was not what I ordered and if he could add some mushrooms and just leave the green onions in, they didn't need to be removed. I accidentally ordered food to be delivered from here through grub hub rather than directly from the restaurant's direct delivery person.
