Had come across this place a few times and decided to give it a try for dinner. It was quite busy so I thought that was an indication that the pizza was amazing (it was alright). I didn't care for ordering at the counter. If you order drinks and/or salad you have to pick it up at two windows down. Everything is self serve down to the napkins, plates, silverware, etc.. The only time you will get served is when the pizza or other entrees are delivered to your table (via a number). The pizza was just ok; nothing to write home about. The prices are astronomical (33 bucks for a medium specialty pizza) and 10 bucks for a small antipasto salad (feeds 2). Used to be the best pizza every time, the small I order still is, but the $35 extra large that my son eats has been going downhill the last few times. It used to be beautiful and cooked perfectly but now there are always bubbles at the top of the of the pizza instead of cheese and bubbles and burned areas by the crust. Last night I asked them to remake it and they didn't have a problem doing that, when I showed them what we got. Unfortunately, the remake was worse, bubbles and black on the crust still but now also burned on the bottom of the pizza. We won't be back. Best pizza in the desert hands down! Great informative help at the ordering desk and felt like a very family friendly place. Had a garden salad bowl and extra large pizza. Was plenty for my wife our two boys, 4 and 2, and my brother. Highly recommend. I'm mad I've never had it until now. I've been coming to the desert for the last 8+ years and my wife just told me about this. I'm now divorcing her because of keeping this place a secret from me for so long. I come here all the time, every time I come the service is worse. Pulled up today for some wings and small pizza at 9:42. As I walked in the lady immediately with an angry face yelled "pick up?" And I said "no, wanted to eat in. Am I still able to?" And she rolled her eyes and said "I close at 10" and I said "so no??" And she said "you can only sit in the middle". I continued to order as she huffed and puffed with a nasty attitude, the receipt says the cashiers name is karmina. At the end I just told her to put it to go. I advise the owner to maybe set a kitchen close time if his employees are going to be upset and rude about costumers coming in to buy some food since I'm pretty sure most of their costumers are locals. Came in a few weeks ago and it was freezing in the dining area. 50s outside and cold refrigerated air blowing down on the tables. We asked to talk with the manager after being told that they could not adjust the thermostat. Waited half hour for the manager, she was too busy to see us as she was preparing food in the back. Today's visit we ordered a special pizza and asked if a small portion could be left plain as our elderly Mom can't eat all the items. The manager was not accommodating, saying we could only get half the pizza plain, and not a couple of slices. The reason stated was that "they never do it that way". Basically telling us they can't and won't accommodate. How difficult would it be to just not add any toppings on two pieces. It's not like we are even asking for different toppings - just no toppings. So much for customer service, ugh. read more
