I have been traveling for work the past few months, long days and hours type of deal.. anywho I had previously ordered on 2 occasions to my hotel. I'm a huge fan of the Pizza Guys chain as I'm a longtime customer of the Apple Valley, CA location. I had a delivery for some wings, a salad and my usual favorite ..a large Taco Pizza for me and my gf. Unfortunately I got a ..base model version of a taco pizza due to a "new employee still training" which I completely understand. I spoke with Kathy and explained my honest dissatisfaction to which she was phenomenally understanding in resolving the issue and rectified it immediately. This is the type of communication and professionalism that's rare in the food service industry. Kathy is the perfect example of what a manager should strive for.. patient, professional, and proactively engaging in making sure customers are happy. Major Kudos to her & her team!

Our go to, a large pizza with half chile verde and half creamy garlic chicken was underwhelming. The pizza itself was overcooked which resulted in a dry pizza. Luckily the chile verde topping was still delicious but without ranch it was barely edible. The chicken pieces were dry and hardly had any sauce or garlic. The potato wedges we ordered were also disappointing. The potatoes were soggy, pale and undercooked. And when I mean undercooked, a majority of the potatoes were raw. The saving grace was the buffalo chicken wings. Cooked well but not spicy at all. As well as a small cheese pizza which was nicely sauced, plenty of cheese and baked well. I will disclose that the pizzeria was busy but that has never been an issue in the past. We will return as we enjoy their chile verde and creamy garlic chicken pizza.

I paid $6.25 for a small chicken sub. I haven't tied the pizza yet, but I'll defiantly come back to try it out. Things to note, they don't have a bathroom and they only have a few tables, but it is a takeout joint. I'm happy to have stumbled upon this place!

My favorite pizza in the world was Papa-Lolo's and then Mom's U-Bake. It was fantastic until a few…read moremonths or more ago they switched many ingredients, most notably the sauce and the sausages. The pizza was in-edible after that change and I thought I lost my favorite pizza forever. The GREAT news is that I recently tried it again and they are back to the original sauce and original sausages and the pizza is perfect again! Thank you to the owner for going back to the original ingredients and providing excellent pizza. Any price is worth this amazing pizza. Please support this small business and go buy as many as you can. Here is to the memory of our lost Papa-Lolos, and to the continued success and legacy that Mom's U-bake now carries on.
