We ordered on a Saturday night. The wait time was estimated at an hour and a half but our order arrived within 50 minutes. The pizza at this location is delicious! We chose Original Montague's All Meat Marvel and the Wombo Combo again and were not disappointed. The pizza is extremely flavorful and each ingredient melts in the mouth, from the high quality cheese to the crispy pepperoni! I feel that this pizza is cooked to perfection and is delicious, whether eating it fresh or the next day cold from the fridge. Porterville Round Table never skimps on the ingredients and the pizza is extremely filling. I recommend going with a pan pizza if you like thicker crust. I also like that they deliver napkins, plates, parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. I can think of no other delivery place that brings plates. We tried to tip the driver cash but due to COVID he refused the tip, so we called in and tipped him on the credit card. I appreciate that our delivery driver put his safety and our safety first. Can't give anymore than one star because if you show up at 8pm on a Saturday they won't serve you and they are removing the salad bar even though they close at 9pm. All I can review is the customer service which is awful. Basically the staff tries not to acknowledge you so you won't want to order and leave. Thankfully that's what we did. Years ago when you ordered a regular pizza it would come with a lot of the toppings, now they seem to count the toppings when they put them on. Even when you pay for extra toppings they don't come with the toppings that they used to put back in the day with a regular pizza. My wife and I got there at 8:00 pm. I walked right up to counter. I ordered a large gourmet veggie pizza, and two large sodas. There were at least 7-8 people working. 3-4 were talking to a woman at a table laughing and joking around. There was two other people sitting at a different table waiting for there food. There were to go orders going out. After about 40 minutes, I got up and asked how much longer? She asked for my receipt, and I pulled it out of my pocket and handed it to her. She then reached up and took our pizza off of the shelf and handed it to me. They never called out our order, and when I looked at the receipt it said to go. The place is empty, we are 10 feet away from where we ordered the pizza, and they are more interested in talking. And no apology, that our pizza probably sat on shelf for 15-20 minutes. She never asked if it was to go, although, I did say after we eat, I might by a chocolate chip cookie, which I did not, because I did not want to wait another 20 minutes.
