Went in at 10:20 on a Friday night (40 minutes before their posted closing time) and they wouldn't seat us - they said they were "take out only after around 10:30 or 10:45". If that were actually posted on their hours, that's fine; But for a restaurant to refuse to seat and serve customers well within posted business hours is absurd. Not only that, but they were very rude and dismissive about it. They told us to eat outside - it was forty some degrees out! And they didn't even have chairs outside! Don't care how good their pizza could be - won't be going back to risk being treated like that again when there are so many places around with great customer service that actually let you eat inside when they're open. read more

Wasn't feeling too hot and didn't feel like driving... I was thinking delivery. Got on yelp to see what my options were and low and behold... why haven't I tried the Round Table on Lincoln? Took a yelper's advice and ordered the breadsticks and ranch w/ my pizza. Waited less than the 45 minutes they had stated on the phone. Delivery guy was really nice and repeated my name a few times. The food was bomb... best round table I've had in quite some time. If you are thinking all round tables are created equal, quite simply, they are not!!! The breadsticks and ranch were delish! Pizza was great! I will definately be calling this place again in the near future. It's been a few days and I can't get those darn breadsticks outta my mind! I remember Round Table was the 'expensive pizza' when I was a kid. (not much has changed especially for the quality. Its definitely good, but not spectacular) But back then, it was my favorite because they packed all the gourmet veggies on there. And I fell more in love w/ it when my older brother worked there (another store within that chain) when I was about 12, he'd bring a personal pizza all to myself every Friday night he'd get me out of bed so I could eat my pizza, so sweet! Never really ate there again, until my late 20's. Then my neighbors invited us to watch the game over there recently. I called my order in, and to my surprise I was offered another pizza of equal or lesser value. I originally ordered a specialty gourmet pizza so I got another! I used to love Round Table. I've had it since I was a kid but I think this place will make me change. I paid over $60 to have it delivered to my house and what I got was a cold pizza. So sad that I'm going to have to leave as a customer. It was such a good pizza but it is severely overpriced and a customer service is terrible. I asked for my pizza at 3: 15 pm. We came in and ordered the special, 1 large 1-topping with cheese twists and sodas for $19. A total steal for our family of 3 (+1 baby). The owner/manager totally brought our daughter balloons while we waited and very carefully tied it on her wrist. I cannot remember a single time that any restaurant employee paid so much attention to children to make sure they feel their experience was special. I totally felt the love. He came and checked on us SEVERAL times and actually waited on us. Not only this, the pizza was great. We had won a pizza party through a locks of love event to dine here and receive a large pizza and 4 sodas for free - we aren't in the area a lot, so we thought we would make a special trip of it. Parking was easy - on the street right in front (was shocked since we went on a Saturday evening) - went in and was surprised that it wasn't crowded. We ordered and got our drinks and sat down to wait - the kids were enteretained by the 2 different TVs playing 2 different shows - one was playing football and the other exercise equipment infomercials. The Willow Glen Round Table Pizza is profoundly disappointing. I mean, I can live with the questionable business practices; e.g., if you ask for just pepperoni on one half and just olives on the other half, you get charged for two toppings, even though the amount is quite literally the amount of one half the toppings. Even so, I used to love the pizza there. But about eight to ten months ago, the crust in one batch turned out to be offal. Excuse me, I mean awful. Soggy, doughy, and yet bad-tasting, with a bad texture and bad consistency. I don't know about you, but I have to have great crust. It's a "must-have" and it was one of the best things about Willow Glen Round Table Pizza. And it's been awful about 2/3 of the time I go there. What happened? I genuinely don't know. It feels like they changed the recipe to one that has much cheaper ingredients. And look...if I wanted scum-on-a-slab, I'd order one of those pretend pizzas, like Domino's or Little Caesar's or Papa John's or Shakey's. If I'm ever in the mood for one of those non-premium pizzas...if I ever get that hungry...I'll shell out the $10. But I just spent $36.42 for a large King Arthur at the Willow Glen RTP. I could get a Large Giorgio's Special for $28.50, or I could get a great pizza for less than $20 at Willow Street Pizza. But I won't go back to Willow Glen Round Table Pizza. You can get a "hot & ready" pepperoni for about 5 bucks anywhere now. Our bill with a 2-liter added on was going to top $63 after the delivery charge. For TWO pizza's and a 2 liter!? I told the woman on the phone that the prices seemed pretty outrageous compared to other pizza places. Her reply was "thats our price, if you don't like it, don't order from us..." So I didn't. Since I was a kid, I've had a sort of allegiance to Round Table Pizza but this location disappoints. The people behind the counter are not the friendliest. Worst. Experience. Ever. On the past when they had older mature workers it was fine, not anymore. I went in over the weekend in hopes of getting a pizza. I called ahead and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I show up and the pizza is not as crispy as I had ordered. So I asked them to please put it back in. The young Caucasian boy at the register who looked like he was in high school at first was confused. Then he understood. I think his name was Anthony. I'm not too sure though. It was obvious that the other kid has dropped my pizza on the floor. Anthony comes back like nothing while he other boy is making another pizza. He then tries to charge me. I had 2 American Express and visa gift cards on me. I gave them to him and he claimed it wasn't working. So I gave him another one. He couldn't figure it out. Ive used them all the time and no other store has ever had an issue except for these high school kids. Finally after them not knowing how to charge the cards, which I explained was just like a regular credit card. Nothing happened. At this point I'm annoyed and frustrated. So I just handed them my debit card. After a few tries Anthony or whatever his name was, was finally able to charge me. Now keep in mind that I've waited 20 minutes, showed up and dealt with these 2 kids who act like they came straight out of the movie Idiocracy for AN ADDITIONAL 15 minutes. THEN....
