I've been going to this pizza parlor for a very long time (41 years) and my last review was eight years ago so I thought it was time for another. They just recently remodeled inside Which looks very nice! If you're looking to eat pizza and watch sports, this is the place ! The restaurant is always clean and warm or cool on hot summer days and the workers are always so nice and their pizza is made with love and the freshest ingredients they really make and cook it like it's for them! I highly recommend This location for dining in! Once again, shout out to the manager and all the people that work there always so kind and fast see you all very soon

The inside has been remodeled!! This is so cool and amazing! I love it! I love that delicious pizza and salad! The staff are so friendly!

I was raised loving round table and I raised my kids to love it but the quality of pizza from the Scott's valley location is ruining it for all of us. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with heavy red sauce because that's my and my kid's favorite thing about round table and not only did our pizza have hardly any red sauce if any, it didn't have much cheese either so it was essentially $25 bread sticks that were practically inedible. This isn't the first time I received a low quality pizza like this from this location either, which is why I prefer the felton location but unfortunately they are closed on Sundays now. I feel cheated in a way, partially because I paid so much for something I threw away most of, but also because I'm bummed that the experience at this location is making my kids not love something I wish they would love as a kid like I did.

Sucks when you're eating your leftovers and feel something hard in the bite you took, turns out it was an old staple you almost ingested. Dined in Friday night, so the stars are for the customer service we received.

The quality & service has gone down at The Scotts Valley location! It was very insulting when manager used some negative overtones towards my Family and I. I got the wrong order delivered again. I believe they can see the history of what you order in the computer. The manager on 9/3 at approx. 8:15pm. made a derogatory comment. I bit my tongue kept my cool and walked out. I drove over to Mountain Mikes and ordered a combination pizza and waited in the parking lot! In fact the combination pizza was delicious even better than Round Tables in their heyday! It is unfortunate that many franchises have employees running their business into the ground...and don't even realize it I did ask for the Owner/manager's name and office number. The manager on duty refused and told me to google it. He made racist comment towards my family under his breath. He continue to argue and told me I got what I ordered. Slow down on the phone read the order back to confirm it's the correct pizza. On top of everything else it was under cooked and Greasy...! Toni and Alba's Sad to see you go . Mountain Mikes you're my go to pizza in Scotts Valley. Round table Scotts Valley has put a bad taste in my mouth

The lunch buffet is a great way to sample a variety of pizza without breaking the piggy bank. The service was friendly. They even ask if we had any request on pizza. The restaurant was kept clean. The pizza was fresh and taste just like a Round Table pizza. We came early, so all the pizza was freshly made. The buffet is a great value. It includes the salad bar which had a good selection of toppings. Its quick affordable lunch.

(We have eaten a few times at dinner but I was curious as to how different would the lunch be but it didn't appear any different, but then it could have been the Memorial Day special is the same as dinner offerings). I tried a little of each of my favorite foods, ribs, dim sum, fried shrimp, walnut shrimp, bok Choy, green beans, salmon, egg rolls, Mongolian beef, stuffed shrimp, sushi and dessert watermelon and a creamy strawberry dessert! Wow, it was all very good, I would have liked to go for seconds to try more different foods but I was full. Gohan is a really great deal considering that Vegas buffets cost you $80 plus for a feast like this. If you love Asian food and especially seafood, this is the place to try! They have plenty of seating and the table staff are on top of clearing off dishes from your table.

The food was similar to other offerings I've been to but with a little more variety. I wouldn't say the food was bad nor was it the best. Heads up with the snails since they braised it with a star anise flavor, never had it like that before. I came in for lunch and will have to come back for dinner one night to see the other offerings. Not bad at all.

Final Thoughts: 2.50/5…read more My parents heard about this place and they wanted to try it. Definitely been a long time since we went to a buffet. This family really does not consume a lot of food, so sometimes going to a buffet really isn't the most idea when you're trying to get your moneys worth with quality and quantity. Location for here is somewhat farther than other places that we usually go to. We did finally get the opportunity for all of us to go, so it happened. Will round to be 3 star for today. Food: 1. Sushi bar (Simple sushi rolls with imitation crab, salmon, avocado, seaweed salad, ?tofu skin) Their selections of sushi are quite limited. Honestly, it felt like the same type of roll with just one item differing. Not even really sure if these are actual types of sushi rolls like at other restaurants. They did look slightly haphazardly put together, but overall rolls are fine and nicely plated on the larger plate to get. Heft fillings for most of them, which I appreciate. 2. Seafood Options (stir fried shrimp, braised mushrooms, mussels with cheese, clams) Most of these items felt like they were frozen and then reheated verses fresh. The assembly of these dishes seem simple enough, so they continuously refilled these. Some were steamed perhaps like the clams, others were baked maybe like the muscles. The texture is a lot more "rubbery" and difficult to remove the meat from the shell. Flavor was just alright for most of these options. 3. Classic food choices (fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, eggrolls, broccoli beef, French fries, pizza, ribs) These are items are nostalgic for me if anything. Also feels like something I can cook from a bag or even get at Panda Express. Honey walnut shrimp was alright. It felt super rich and oily with the amount of mayonnaise. Not necessarily a complaint because I really like that dish, but I could only have a few of them. Orange chicken was also quite good and nostalgic for me. 4. Desserts (?Mousse cake, cream puffs, coconut macaron, soft serve, palmiers cookies) Honestly, I love desserts and sweets, but there was something about these items that weren't enticing at the time. Maybe because I was really full already from the other foods. The cake felt a little bit dry. Seems like something we can get in bulk somewhere and not necessarily freshly made. Soft serve was almost like this sweet water with just a bit of milk in it, which was interesting. 5. Fruits (Cantaloupe, canned lychee, oranges, pineapple) Very small selection of fruits here. Not too big of a fan of canned fruits, but it was something that they had. The cantaloupe was the only fruit that I could really "enjoy" because it was fresh and better looking than the other options. My parents liked the oranges, as well. Some nice vitamin C for them after the big meal. Labeling: Nothing Labeled None of their items are labeled, so just be sure y'all are careful of food allergies or intolerances. --------- Quality: As expected for the price Their quality is ok??? Ish??? It's what I expected for the price. A lot of the foods appear frozen and then reheated or cooked. Sushi was rolled on the spot and refilled. Some foods felt like they were just sitting there under a warmer. For the seafood, definitely felt like from the freezer and not fresh. You can see this in the clams because they were really stuck onto their shell and absolutely would not come out cleanly. Texture is a little more chewy. Price: Affordable for the Buffet If you want affordable and all you can eat, this is the place to go. One of the reasons why my parents want to go here is because of the price. This place is in Gilroy, so a little farther away from where we are, but we still wanted to try it. Prices are fully on the rise. For an adult, it will be $18.99 now. There are discounted pries for kiddos between 2 and 11 years of age. Senior citizens of age 65 and older will also get a $1 off discount. Very sweet and totally works for us. Service: Fast Not sure how crowded this place gets, but we were seated immediately after coming in. I didn't see how busy it was outside, but most, if not all of the seats were filled at one point. They took our drink order and then we were free to go get food afterwards. There's always a trash plate and they took those away pretty quicky. Ambiance: Dim lit Interior was quite dark and dim lit. The area where the foods were was really warm and this might be nicer on a cold winter day versus summer. The space actually looks quite small for something of a buffet style. Perhaps there aren't too many options, but it/s definitely a nice small buffet to go to for a change of taste once in a blue moon. Location/Parking: Spacious area This area is very spacious and located where the South Valley Plaza Shopping Center is. It is within kind of the side corner of this plaza. Highly unlikely there will be a concern with parking because of how large the area is.

I don't remember much about the place so I got no positive or negative experiences I can compare to this visit. I have been to many similar buffets all over Northern California so my expectations are not too high here. My first attack was the sushi bar. Very good sushi selection for lunch. Comparable Tomi and World Gourmet Buffet in Fremont. No complaints. Made my way to the hot foods. Some familiar and some different items. First time seeing curry beef. The stir fry rice noodle they had was bland so I put the curry over it. It was good, I got a second helping. They had a pork ribs soup with either wintermelon or radish, couldn't tell what it was but it gave the soup some sweetness to it. If you're Asian you might have had it at home. It is light and soothing. Different than the usual hot and sour soup which they had but I skipped. Those were the two items I wanted to talk about in my review as no other Asian buffet had these. There are other typical items, aren't much different from other places so I'll keep this short. Must finish your meal with soft serve ice cream! Everyone in our group had a connection to Nepal and to a lesser extent India, whether through having been born there or having lived or traveled there extensively. By the time we finished, most of the restaurant was full, including with families. We were pleased to find an Indian buffet in Santa Cruz, and found many of our favorites on the buffet, including chicken tandoori, meat and veggie curries, basmati rice, daal (lentils), naan (bread), pakora (deep-fried fritters), raita (yogurt), salad, chutneys, and more. However, we all agreed that, while there was a good variety of food on the buffet and it was of acceptable taste, some of the curries were bland and watery, lacking the depth and complexity of spices usually found in Indian food. We wondered if the spiciness had been toned down for presumed American tastes? Some other reviewers also mentioned that the buffet included chai (warm sweet spiced milk tea); I'm disappointed to have missed this personal favorite! I forgot how much we paid for the buffet, but it seemed reasonable for the Santa Cruz area. The restaurant was bright, with a mix of tables (with white tablecloths) and booths. We didn't see too much of the staff, but they were helpful when called. The bathroom could use more attention. Parking was sufficient, easy to access, and free. The restaurant offers catering.
