The service was absolutely outstanding, none of the staff were rude, they were all sweet, very pretty too! The buffet was very calm and light, overall it gave a cozy vibe! Even the people there were so sweet, even if they were just eating there! Only issue is the women's restroom, which was messy, footprints everywhere, as well as toilet paper. Sakura Buffet has a nice variety of food and desserts, and the food itself was good. However, it was very busy and items weren't restocked quickly enough. The bathroom was also pretty dirty, and the atmosphere felt chaotic with kids running around. As soon as we walked in kids were at our table. I seen signs posted so this must be an ongoing issue with adults not watching their children. I also felt a bit rushed so they could seat more people. You must come wanting lots of variety but not the highest quality food with over a 100 options! It is always busy so there's fresh food constantly being refilled. They have all the standard Chinese American classics like orange chicken, chow mein, broccoli beef. As well as a whole fried section. They used to have crab legs but no longer. The Mongolian noodle station is ready to made and I definitely recommend! The sushi not so much except perhaps some of the rolls but definitely not the nigiri. Their dessert section is really plentiful, but the pastries are all store bought so stick with the fresh fruit like the strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew which they freshly slice versus the canned fruit. Honestly one of the best Chinese buffets I've had in a while. Huge variety, and it was busy (Wednesday around 1:30 PM) so the food stayed fresh and constantly rotating. For $20, it's honestly an unbeatable deal. It's still a buffet, so of course the quality isn't top-tier, but I was genuinely surprised by how good everything tasted. I'm giving this place 5 stars for its ability to be affordable and quite delicious. We paid $50 for 2 adults and my infant was free. During these expensive times, I would say $25 a person isn't bad for all you can eat & drink. We go on Sunday's, the busiest days and there's often a line but it always goes by so quickly. They replenish items quickly like the popular chow mein noodles and shrimp dishes. They have recently been remodeling and improving the place. The only complaint I have is the outdated water feature with koi fish they have up front. The fish do need a bigger pond and the statues don't make sense given the atmosphere and clientele. I visit Sakura Seafood Buffet twice a year. This place is delicious. There's many different sea food, salads, fruits, snacks, pastas, all kinds of drinks including coffee and tea. What's included in that price is the buffet & a fountain drink cup (self-serve). Bathrooms were not clean. Workers had masks on their chins as they served food. No COVID protections whatsoever. I think it's so funny how most of the reviews are either one star or five stars and nothing in between haha. I think my review would be 3.5 stars but I always round up. I laugh that I somewhat frequent this place. I laugh because I don't remember being a fan of any buffets post-puberty (KBBQ being the only exception). High turnover means that there's a degree of cooked freshness even when the ingredients aren't perfect. So much so that it passes most average diner palates. Perceived value right? Here's the quick routine, however, if you're here for the first time and want to make the most of your time here even if it's just for 30 minutes like I usually do. Green beans. Deep fried shrimp. Deep fried crab. Clams in black bean sauce. Fried rice/noodles. Roast duck. I take full plates of each and line my table up. I'm done in less than 10 minutes and pay up, laugh at anyone who has stared at me put that away so fast, and laugh again paying just $12. Laugh again when I grab two cones of ice cream on the way out wondering and playing heartburn roulette as I decide whether I should take a Tums or just a yogurt drink. $12.
