Athens Plate was extraordinary and enough for two.

My friend and I arrived just as Gregorio was opening and he couldn't have been nicer!! Seated us right away, gave us time to ponder the menu, prepared a delicious Cappuccino and brought a delightful Athens Plate with beautifully packed dolmades, flavorful and chunky hummus and tzatziki, delicious olives and really delicious pita bread. The atmosphere here is classy but laid back. The inside is decorated nicely and we felt welcome and valued as customers. Gregorio recognized we had a lot of catching up to do on serious subjects and so he let us sit for a while after we finished our meal. Love that!! I'd definitely return here for dinner or another lunchtime meal. DELICIOUS & super healthy!! MIND diet rules!!

The Little Oliva is a chain restaurant. The decor at this location is similar to the one on the hill, and it's very inviting. I really like the ambiance. It wasn't until I went to use the restroom that I realized just how much seating they have, both indoors and outdoors. They open the doors wide open so you can enjoy the wonderful beach air while sitting indoors, too. I was advised I could sit anywhere, so I chose a table outdoors in the corner. The majority of the tables in the outdoor front area are shaded and comfortable. I could feel the ocean air blowing through. I ordered a latte with oat milk and the Greek Omelette which comes with a side of potatoes, side salad, and bread. No design in my latte this time. This is the thing, the food looks way better than it tastes. It's all a little bland. From the latte to the food. The roasted potatoes were most likely the best tasting item on my plate. The service was friendly and efficient. She noticed a gnat was in my glass of ice water when she was pouring and replaced it immediately, before placing it on my table.

I had previously booked a table for 6pm on February 6th to celebrate my husband's birthday and specifically requested to be seated near the live performer, having had a positive experience at this restaurant previously for a friend's birthday dinner with a party of 8. I dropped off the birthday cake in the afternoon. However, upon arrival, the waiter Gregory informed us that there was no record of our reservation, despite my showing him the confirmation text and the cake. We were offered a table far from the performer, which was not what we wanted, so we left without dining. This resulted in a disappointing conclusion to what was supposed to be a special evening. Photos attached were proofs!

This place has incredible food. My father got the lamb chops that had an amazing grilled flavor. The service was amazing, our waiter was very nice and helpful the whole time. The location is amazing . You can sit outside and feel the breeze and warm sun. The music is great and overall this is an amazing restaurant.

    Lamb chops!

Found this place on Yelp, and stopped in for dinner on my birthday after a candlelight concert on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. We arrived at 8:30 PM with a reservation on a Thursday night. The server was pleasant and cheerful, despite the late hour. Our entrees arrived quickly and were piping hot .. Lamb and Taormina., Everything was fresh and tasty. Only good things to say about the food , service and ambiance. Very cute.

My friend and I were craving Mediterranean and after a little Yelp search we found The Little Olivia! Whether grabbing dinner with a friend, having a date night, or a large gathering, this place can accommodate all avenues. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating flowing into each other without being/feeling too cramped. We were greeted shortly after arriving around 6pm on a Monday night. We were given the option to sit wherever we would like since it wasn't too crowded, but slowly got more busy into the night. Our server was very friendly, although I can't remember if he introduced himself or not, so I'm not sure what his name is. He answered any questions we had about to menu and gave us time to decide. He checked in on us throughout the meal and made sure our waters were filled. They brought out pita and olives, which was lovely (although we aren't olive people). The pita was simple on its own but nice as a complementary starter. We were able to split our meal as both were generous in size with leftovers. The fish was flavorful and very moist, but there were many bones so beware! Plenty of side salad and yummy seasoned veggies, as well as several tasty roasted potatoes! The pizza was good, nothing out of this world, but I did like the delicious truffle oil flavor. Perfect thin crust for me! Overall, had a very enjoyable first experience at this restaurant in the Rivera Village. They do have a bathroom and parking on the street with paid meters until 9pm. Prices are decent for upscale Mediterranean cuisine. I will definitely come again!

I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon, where a few other patrons were already dining. The seating has around 6 or so tables inside that can fit around 4 each, and they also have high chairs for children! I ordered a number 17, which is the gyro, and got a side of hummus and pita then found a table to sit at. I had just finished buckling my child into the high chair when my order was delivered to my table! They are super fast here! The super friendly waiter delivered my meal, and I dug in. The gyro was stuffed with meat! This is a huge deal, since a lot of places skimp and don't give enough. So extra points to Al Hamra for a job well done. The flavor of the meat was juicy and well seasoned, super delish! The hummus and pita was good, although I usually add a bit of spices to my hummus so this one was a little plainer than I'm used to. Either way, it was a nice addition to the meal. The grand finale were the desserts! I usually go for baklava, but decided to try the knafeh, a layered cheese dessert with syrup and pistachios. Get the knafeh! The warm cheese and syrup were so delicious and made for the perfect ending to a good meal! I will definitely be back, the food was super tasty, and the people working there were friendly and helpful. Thanks for the happiness, Al Hamra!

Our group of four adults and two kids came in starving. I had the chicken kabob wrap, which was a perfect burrito-sized meal, while my husband enjoyed a beef and chicken kabob plate that fully satisfied his appetite. Honestly, the highlight for me was the warm pita served with garlic mayo, so much better than the cold or room-temperature pitas you often get at otherMediterranean spots. We also shared dessert, the kulfi cheesecake, and left completely stuffed. Al Hamra is a cozy family-run restaurant with just a few tables, but the food makes it well worth it. I'll definitely rotate between this spot and Chicken Maison for future visits.

This was my second visit, and unfortunately I had the same rude experience. I tried to overlook it before because I liked the food, but tonight sealed it for me. I brought a friend because I had been hyping up the spicy hummus, and we were excited to go. We arrived around 7:16 PM, and right away the cashier was rude and told us our order had to be to-go because after 7:20 PM they don't allow dine-in. I mentioned it was only 7:18, and she responded with attitude, saying, "Oh, it just turned 7:20." I don't mind paying for good, quality food--even if it's not cheap--but I won't tolerate rude service. No matter how good the food is, the experience matters just as much. In my opinion, the staff could really use some customer service training. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back or recommending this place to others. Not worth it.

We always start with their fresh-brewed green iced tea and hummus with crisp crudité. Their panini-pressed sandwiches are fantastic, and the house-made yogurt and chili sauces are so good you'll end up putting them on everything. And the lamb kebab? Hands down the best I've ever had, perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and something I crave long after we leave. What keeps us coming back, though, is Hameed, the owner. From the moment you walk in, he treats you like family. You can tell how deeply he cares about his guests, his staff, and every detail of the restaurant. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare these days, and it's a big part of what makes Turquoise so special.
