Lavender & Honey is one of my go-to coffee shops in Redondo Beach. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love their super cute vibe and they have plenty of seating inside the cafe and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I usually order their Iced Americano made with their house espresso which has a slight taste of honey. I like my drinks cold and appreciate that it always comes to me with ice in it and not mostly melted like some other places. Their seasonal Pistachio Honey Latte is also really good, I would recommend that hot or iced. The cashiers have been very friendly to me and willing to make suggestions if I ask for help. The baristas are also nice and they consistently make my drinks really well even when the cafe gets really busy. The one down side is the small parking lot, but I can usually find street parking nearby if the lot is full. Overall, I consistently come back to this cafe for their coffee, pastries and sandwiches. read more

We picked up a few pastries, which were excellent, along with some specialty drinks that my family really enjoyed. It took a little while to get our order, but that's pretty much expected on a busy Saturday around 10:30 a.m. I had the drip coffee. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the cream was kept behind the counter, and no one mentioned it, so I ended up drinking it black. Not my preference, but an easy fix. Overall, a pleasant neighborhood spot. Great atmosphere, tasty pastries, good coffee, and drinks my family really enjoyed. We'll be back. Solid 4 stars. read more

I came to this coffee shop on my way back from a long run at the beach. I've been wanting to try it out for a while and finally got the chance. I love that they had a chilled water tank that's self serve in the cafe because that hit after my run. For drinks I got a teddy graham latte with oat milk which was a seasonal spring menu item. It was topped with cinnamon which gave it almost a little spicy kick in the beginning that I was not mad about. The oat milk was so creamy and I liked that the latte wasn't overly sweet. I also got a matcha latte with oat milk for my mother-in-law. The matcha was delicious and the drink again was not overly sweet which can be the case at some other places. I didn't get any food this time but the pastries were all very temping and looked so good on display. I also saw some other customers eating sandwiches that looked hearty so I may need to make another trip here to try out some of the food. This place is cute! (an added perk: free easy parking in their lot!) I was here a few weeks ago (10/13/25) after a pool day with my dogs and decided to get something to eat and drink for the drive home because there was a lot of traffic. The place was clean and welcoming and there's a section right when you walk in where they sell their own honey products and more. I looked at the menu beforehand but I didn't expect them to have a fall menu with a lot of amazing seasonal options so I changed my mind last minute. I ordered and Iced Apple Pie Matcha Latte (I asked for it slightly less sweet) and boy, did it hit the spot! I love when cafes come up with something like this where you haven't gotten anywhere else. This matcha was absolutely delicious and it came with a dehydrated apple making the presentation on point as well. I also ordered a Cali Turkey "Club" and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches are made to order which sets them apart from a lot of cafes and coffee shops that sell pre-made sandwiches. You're allowed simple mods (I asked for extra tomato and add jalapenos). Absolutely fresh and delicious. One thing to note is that they ran out of the bread they normally use so I opted for multi grain bread which was even better in my opinion. Service was 10/10. The lady at the register was very kind and helpful when I asked her questions about whether I can make a drink less sweet or what kind of mods I can do for my sandwich. I even ordered a make-your-own sandwich for my dogs with just the meat, cheese, and bread and they devoured. Extra shout-out to the guy making my sandwich because WOW. My sister-in-law who lives here in Redondo Beach stopped by Lavender & Honey for pastries before meeting us for brunch and snagged some Matcha Scones for us. She knows I'm a hardcore foodie and pastries are my weakness. Haha. I love a good scone but it's usually hit or miss as scones have a tendency to be very dry. Luckily for me, this was a win. The scones were not dry at all but more moist than anything. The matcha flavor wasn't super strong so it was a good hint of matcha. Oh wow! Whoever made my orange creamsicle latte knows what they are doing! Usually when I come here, the drinks are pretty average. This iced creamsicle placed the espresso flavor forward and then the homemade citrus syrup which added a nice flavor. Even with oat milk it was simply perfect! A wonderful coffee spot in Redondo Beach. Its sister cafe is the original in Pasadena. You get the same vibe in Redonda and the staff is amazing, welcoming and helpful. Eager to connect with you to make you feel appreciated. We stopped here after picking up the Hermosa Beach Triathlon bib for my hubby. So glad we stopped. BUT, overall, someone has really put a lot of thought & creativity into the sandwiches, drinks & selection of pastries. One last thing......it helps if you back into your parking spot. 4-1/2 stars I enjoyed my pistachio honey latte (nutty and sweet, with the cutest latte art!) and potato chip pastrami sandwich: never thought potato chips go inside a sandwich, but they added a nice texture to it! Pastries (almond croissant, cardamom bun) were decent, too. Unfortunately, the white cherry matcha drink didn't quite work, as I found the cherry did not pair very well with the matcha. Tried this place today the pastry was good but the cold brew is not on my fav list. Went for a good iced coffee but they don't really over this the way I'd like it. The issue I really have is that most if not all tables were not clean nor did anyone come out to clean. The seats and floor also had food everywhere which is disappointing. Lastly, for being in Redondo for a few weeks my preference would be a place with more ambiance and comfort for the chairs. Stopped in today and absolutely loved this place! The coffee was excellent, and their toast bar is next level so we ordered three different toasts and every one of them was amazing. You can really tell they put care into their ingredients and presentation. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for hanging out or getting a little work done. The only thing that threw me off was being charged $2.15 for a refill on my iced tea. For a sit-down spot where you're already eating, I think refills should be free or at least a small charge like 75 cents. Other than that, everything else was top-notch. These indoor tables are sized perfectly for a group meeting or for individuals who don't want to pick between table for food vs laptop / books or paperwork! A lot of coffee shops provide tiny little tables for the average person to find efficient. I asked the cashier to "surprise me" between the salted caramel latte or honey lavender latte. I was surprised with the smooth and delicious flavor of the salted caramel, it's yummy and the flavor profile is balanced. I'm glad she chose for me! I came here with a friend recently in the morning to catch up. The place was packed and we barely got some counter seats inside. They have an outdoor patio with several tables as well but it was drizzling outside so we opted to sit indoors. The vibe is very minimalistic, clean, modern, light wood aesthetic. Great place to study or get work done. I got an iced lavender honey latte which was pretty good, balanced, and had a strong lavender flavor which I liked. We also got the L&H Toast which just had goat cheese and honey (where's the lavender?) and the Avocado Toast which was just okay.. it tasted dry and like it was missing something. It would have tasted better if it had a spread on the base of some kind. Both toasts were small and subpar, and I probably wouldn't get it again. I like how this cafe has a "kids bar" on their menu with various kid friendly drinks such as a babyccino and L&H steamer as well as food items i.e. PB & J and a petit parisian.
