3.5: actual rating. This only because their pastries are gone by early afternoon. My friend and wanted a coffee and pastries and most of them were gone. Only, one or two were leftover from morning. I'm guessing that they're popular even with the competition down the street, T & A. The coffees are good and the service was great, very friendly. The space plenty big with lots of chairs, benches, and tables. I will come back later to sample their pastries. Enjoy!
The staff was friendly when we ordered. The matcha comes unsweetened I added both lavender and simple syrup it barely added sweetness to my matcha but luckily the matcha was still good. My friend got the latte he seemed to enjoy it. Music was a bit loud from where I was sitting and there were a lot of people working.
The cutest little coffee shop! Lots of drink and food options. Great place for lunch, meeting friends, or doing some work. It gets PACKED in the morning so plan accordingly!
I came to this coffee shop on my way back from a long run at the beach. I've been wanting to try it out for a while and finally got the chance. The inside is large and spacious with a lot of seats. It's really open and has nice natural lighting and there is also a little patio area with outdoor seating. I really liked the vibes of the cafe and that alone would convince me to come back. There's a lot of various merch on display as well as house coffee beans and bottled drinks. There's also an area with board games and books to borrow. The cashier at the front was really nice and chill. He listed the different options for milk for my lattes and refilled the water tank at the end of the station after being notified it was low. I love that they had a chilled water tank that's self serve in the cafe because that hit after my run. For drinks I got a teddy graham latte with oat milk which was a seasonal spring menu item. It was topped with cinnamon which gave it almost a little spicy kick in the beginning that I was not mad about. The oat milk was so creamy and I liked that the latte wasn't overly sweet. I also got a matcha latte with oat milk for my mother-in-law. The matcha was delicious and the drink again was not overly sweet which can be the case at some other places. I didn't get any food this time but the pastries were all very temping and looked so good on display. I also saw some other customers eating sandwiches that looked hearty so I may need to make another trip here to try out some of the food. Overall, really nice cafe that I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area!

My girls and I sat with our sandwiches and watched multiple people come and go, seems like a decent place to grab and go for coffee too! I have to try next time, I was there for the sandwiches! Staff was friendly. Parking was really hard as there aren't a whole lot of spaces, you'll have better luck on the street or in a residential area.

This was our first visit after my friend recommended trying their fall inspired lattes. We came for the lattes and decided to stay for lunch. That was a great on the spot decision! We ordered to share: Iced fig and cardamom latte. I liked it, a tad too sweet for me. Next time, I'll ask them to adjust the sweetness level by a quarter. Pumpkin spice latte. This was really good and perfect sweetness level. Definitely a repeat! L&H toast. Goat cheese, lavender and honey. Pairs well with both lattes! Parisian sandwich. I tend to crave a Parisian ham sandwich. At first my husband thought I was joking when I would ask for a ham sandwich. Now he knows I crave a Parisian, not just a plain ham sandwich!Their take on the Parisian is not bad and will suffice. I'll probably order this again. Their menu looks interesting and there's a number of items that we'd like to try. There's limited tummy space so we'll have to come back multiple times to try their lattes and sandwiches! Try it! This place is cute! (an added perk: free easy parking in their lot!) I was here a few weeks ago (10/13/25) after a pool day with my dogs and decided to get something to eat and drink for the drive home because there was a lot of traffic. The place was clean and welcoming and there's a section right when you walk in where they sell their own honey products and more. I looked at the menu beforehand but I didn't expect them to have a fall menu with a lot of amazing seasonal options so I changed my mind last minute. I ordered and Iced Apple Pie Matcha Latte (I asked for it slightly less sweet) and boy, did it hit the spot! I love when cafes come up with something like this where you haven't gotten anywhere else. This matcha was absolutely delicious and it came with a dehydrated apple making the presentation on point as well. I also ordered a Cali Turkey "Club" and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches are made to order which sets them apart from a lot of cafes and coffee shops that sell pre-made sandwiches. You're allowed simple mods (I asked for extra tomato and add jalapenos). Absolutely fresh and delicious. One thing to note is that they ran out of the bread they normally use so I opted for multi grain bread which was even better in my opinion. Service was 10/10. The lady at the register was very kind and helpful when I asked her questions about whether I can make a drink less sweet or what kind of mods I can do for my sandwich. I even ordered a make-your-own sandwich for my dogs with just the meat, cheese, and bread and they devoured. Extra shout-out to the guy making my sandwich because WOW. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be sure to stop by!
Ahhhh!!!! I wanted to love this cafe. Everything is so beautiful here. Unfortunately, the drinks were very watery, didn't have any coffee flavor. Great neighborhood cafe. We enjoyed the cold brew smoothie, a matcha scone and one of the Spring sandwiches. It's a popular place to enjoy a meal and conversation so seating can be hard to come by especially on weekends.
My sister-in-law who lives here in Redondo Beach stopped by Lavender & Honey for pastries before meeting us for brunch and snagged some Matcha Scones for us. She knows I'm a hardcore foodie and pastries are my weakness. Haha. I love a good scone but it's usually hit or miss as scones have a tendency to be very dry. Luckily for me, this was a win. The scones were not dry at all but more moist than anything. The matcha flavor wasn't super strong so it was a good hint of matcha. Lavender & Honey has been on my list so next time I'm in town I hope to stop by and check out the store and grab some coffee and pastries.
Oh wow! Whoever made my orange creamsicle latte knows what they are doing! Usually when I come here, the drinks are pretty average. This iced creamsicle placed the espresso flavor forward and then the homemade citrus syrup which added a nice flavor. Even with oat milk it was simply perfect! The girl at the counter was super helpful too! I got my usual blueberry lavender jam and matcha ginger scone! Hats off to you L + H!
Very nice and comfortable place to take a break from a walk. Got a fresh brewed coffee. It was a nice and smooth cup of afternoon coffee.

Hands down the best coffee shop in the South Bay. A wonderful variety of seasonal pastries, breakfast items, and coffee and tea drinks. Parking is a bit challenging as there are only 4-5 spots in the lot, but plenty of street parking both on Aviation and in the residential neighborhood. Interior of the coffee shop is so cute, lots of tchotchkes and one of a kind cards, sauces, and even their signature lavender syrup for sale. Plenty of seats inside to plop down with your laptop and do some work, or sit on the patio outside with your dogs. I've been coming here at least once a week since I discovered it. I'm bummed the pistachio latte is seasonal (and sold out!) but the brown sugar latte, either hot or iced, from their standard menu is absolutely divine. Coffee lovers, this place is for you! read more
I walked in here, my expectations were to find an average place serving good food in a fast cozy setting. Ill start with service, the staff were was friendly but unfortunately very uncoordinated. Food would come out of the kitchen and onto the counter in different orders so within the same party, someone's sandwich would be made before another person's lettuce. This means the food got mixed up on the counter and while I was waiting, witnessed three people's orders get mixed up. Again they were nice about it but not a good system. We ordered a turkey salad and a Parisian baguette, first off my salad had a lot of old lettuce in it. The fresh ingredients tasted just ok, like low tier super market brand food. From a culinary standpoint, the salad could've benefited from sliced almonds or something crunchy. The Parisian baguette bread was very hard tough, with a decent amount of ham, but not enough spread or cheese.. The cashier did admit that they don't bake their own items instead a "fresh "delivery shows up every morning. I will not be coming back, but I wish them the best. read more

really wanted to like this coffee shop, especially since it was my first time here. the baristas were not friendly at all. i thought it was just to me but i saw the cashier taking order have a not so great mood about customers. i ordered one of the pastries and she handed it to me without being warmed up. it was cold and dry. the ambience was nice and had a cozy atmosphere. we also ordered an iced matcha but got a hot one. we did get it replaced though. unfortunately i don't recommend this place for friendly guests OR the pastries read more

A wonderful coffee spot in Redondo Beach. Its sister cafe is the original in Pasadena. You get the same vibe in Redonda and the staff is amazing, welcoming and helpful. Eager to connect with you to make you feel appreciated. We stopped here after picking up the Hermosa Beach Triathlon bib for my hubby. So glad we stopped. 4-1/2 stars I enjoyed my pistachio honey latte (nutty and sweet, with the cutest latte art!) and potato chip pastrami sandwich: never thought potato chips go inside a sandwich, but they added a nice texture to it! Pastries (almond croissant, cardamom bun) were decent, too. Unfortunately, the white cherry matcha drink didn't quite work, as I found the cherry did not pair very well with the matcha. Plus, the matcha wasn't strong enough, as I was tasting mostly milk. Overall, L&H is a nice little place with come decent coffee and sandwiches. Service was pleasant, too. I'd go back to try more food and drink from this establishment! read more

Came in on a weekday to grab a quick coffee and lunch. But I was amazed by everything they have available that I took my time browsing. I loved how many people were there either working or networking, lunch dates, etc. Aesthetic: 10/10 I was amazed by everything they have here! Service: 2/10 The girl on the counter was not very friendly. Not very welcoming personality either. Idk just weird. Like she was forced to be there. I mirrored her attitude because I was not about to deal with any of it. Ordered my drink and food and it was done within 10min. Thank you! The girl handing/making the drinks was just like girl behind the counter taking the orders. Zero customer service skills. My iced coffee was a 10/10!! Which has been very hard for me to find a place where I really like the coffee or doesn't make me feel some type of ill. I got the cinnamon creamed honey iced latte and it was delicious. I also got the chili crunch toast and it was very savory, I really enjoyed it. I will be coming back soon, hopefully customer service has improved! read more

There's a parking lot and street parking available. Beautiful bright space inside! Lots of tasty pastries on display and drinks on the menu. I tried one of their seasonal matcha lattes and it was delicious! Staff is very friendly. I also enjoyed perusing the grab and go items like yogurt parfaits and pantry items for sale like honey, tea and lavender sugar. I will definitely be back. read more

Tried this place today the pastry was good but the cold brew is not on my fav list. Went for a good iced coffee but they don't really over this the way I'd like it. The issue I really have is that most if not all tables were not clean nor did anyone come out to clean. The seats and floor also had food everywhere which is disappointing. Lastly, for being in Redondo for a few weeks my preference would be a place with more ambiance and comfort for the chairs. Did not feel it was a place that I could relax and enjoy a good iced coffee. read more

The grab and go fridge makes it easy if you are in a rush, while the shelves of merchandise, artisanal chocolates, and pastries invite you to linger. Great place for light breakfast and lunch. Pretty spacious inside with some seating outside as well, and saw some folks with computers. They also serve drinks and food in their own cups and plates if you have it for here! Love a more sustainable business. Small parking lot available. Brown Sugar Latte: 4/5, would probably get less sweet next time! PLT Sandwich: 4/5, meat tasted just a tad saltier than I wanted to but portion was great! Stopped in today and absolutely loved this place! The coffee was excellent, and their toast bar is next level so we ordered three different toasts and every one of them was amazing. You can really tell they put care into their ingredients and presentation. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for hanging out or getting a little work done. The only thing that threw me off was being charged $2.15 for a refill on my iced tea. For a sit-down spot where you're already eating, I think refills should be free or at least a small charge like 75 cents. Other than that, everything else was top-notch. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to! read more
Cute Scandinavian interior design style coffee shop! My party and I definitely noticed the spacious size of the tables inside the coffee shop (outdoor tables are smaller). These indoor tables are sized perfectly for a group meeting or for individuals who don't want to pick between table for food vs laptop / books or paperwork! A lot of coffee shops provide tiny little tables for the average person to find efficient. I asked the cashier to "surprise me" between the salted caramel latte or honey lavender latte. I was surprised with the smooth and delicious flavor of the salted caramel, it's yummy and the flavor profile is balanced. I'm glad she chose for me! I'll mostly likely be back, for a longer period of time and dwell in the space for a few hours working! =) Oh and they have journals, honey and other cute trinkets that would make for good gifts! read more
Lavender and Honey, Redondo Beach Review Stopped by Lavender and Honey for breakfast after finding out Tommy and Atticus next door was closed on a Monday. This spot turned out to be a pleasant surprise! It's a cool, laid-back place to hang out in the morning. While it doesn't have the huge selection of baked goods like some other spots, they make up for it with unique breakfast sandwiches and pastries that hit the spot. The lavender-flavored coffees were our favorites --really well-balanced and not overpowering. The interior is roomy with a calming pastel colors that makes it a great place to start the day. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. Only downside is the limited parking, so you might need to circle a bit. Definitely worth a visit for a chill breakfast! read more
