Living in Sacramento for a majority of my life, I have become accustomed to the city's grueling summers. However, climate change has seemed to add an extra layer to the heat...humidity! Although the overall temperatures haven't been too crazy thus far (fingers crossed this remains true for the remainder of the summer), humidity and high UV indexes have been prevalent. Therefore, my wife and I knew that we had to contact our home warranty ASAP when we realized that our air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. When I say not functioning properly, I'm specifically referring to a slow flow of mildly cold air blowing through our vents. After sharing this with our home warranty, they informed us that Round Tuit Heating and Air would be the business fulfilling our needs. The morning of our appointment a friendly employee by the name of Nick arrived at our doorstep. Nick inquired about the issues that we were encountering and quickly went to work! Roughly 30 minutes later, Nick had completed the required repair and informed us that the slow flow of almost warm air was due to a freon leak. To remedy the issue, he used a sealant to address the leak. Since the repair, we have noticed that the air blowing from the vents is more intense and much colder. So cold that my 12 year old needed to cover himself with a throw while watching TV. We are definitely looking forward to better sleep, an overall cooler home, and a lower electric bill. After having our furnace replaced, which included removing and putting back freon in the A/C condenser, our A/C wasn't working. My home warranty assigned Round Tuit HVAC to come out. I was called within 5 minutes of calling my home warranty company. They had a technician, Mike Pacheco, come out in only a few hours. He was quickly able to recharge the condenser unit with Freon and a leak prevention. Round Tuit was recommended by our home warranty people. The home warranty people have not sent decent contractors for most services so I was skeptical. Making the first appointment with the office was a pleasure, helpful/friendly office staff. Jesus was the 1st person to show up from Round Tuit. He did an awesome job diagnosing the problem of a heater that was completely "shot". Randy was the next person who came to discuss options. Discovered that the ductwork was crushed in several areas and needed to be replaced. A heater was recommended along with options to improve airflow throughout the house. An upgraded system with a fair price was quoted. Work could start within 3 days of the quote - just enough time to pull all parts of the order together. Technicians Dylan, Nicholas and Tony came to do the install. Everything went according to plan. All work was explained as it was happening. They were on time, efficient and friendly. We were told 2 days to complete the work and it was 2 days! They cleaned up everything and hauled off all the garbage. The unit (and a new thermostat) was throughly tested and found to be in perfect working order. Home is now blessedly warm. Round Tuit will check on the system twice a year for the first 2 years. I will be happy to have them back in our home. Everyone of the people we dealt with at Round Tuit was professional and friendly - a good combination! f I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I had to use them because of my home warranty, but from now on I will be specifically requesting a different company. They showed up at 7 PM for a 12-4 PM appointment window -- no call, no heads-up. After their second visit, I never received the invoice or documentation of the repairs. When I asked for it, it took two emails just to get a response, and that response was that they needed to come back out to "reassess" and "redocument." What?! How do you not already have that information documented from your own visit? When I replied that I wasn't taking a third half-day off work to fix their mistake, they simply never responded. Called my home warranty company because I had no air flow coming out of the vents in the back half of my house. The service person came out a couple days later. when they got to my house I showed them the crawl space. they said that ethe ducts were clearly disconnected and needed to be reconnected. But "it's we and muddy under there and um not crawling in the mud." So my home warranty won't send out another contractor until I "fix the mud", well it's been raining for 2 weeks so not sure how I will do that. read more

This HVAC service provider sent Jesus out when our AC did not work. He was professional, kind, friendly and provided excellent customer service. He said we needed a new fan motor and ECM. He returned to install the fan a week later. When we turned it on the motor hummed loudly and was not functioning correctly. It was not pushing enough air. We asked for a tech to come out and check. They sent Mike. Mike said it was fine. We had another company send a tech out who told us the noise was unacceptable and the motor was wired wrong as well as not pushing enough air. Don't call Round Tuit. Not worth the hassle. read more

The technician performed a minimal inspection and completely missed the AC system was surging and in the process of failing. The technician either improperly reattached the capacitor, or completely missed that it was installed incorrectly, but either way the capacitor arched and shorted out the compressor, leaving me with no AC for FOUR WEEKS during the hottest days of the summer, during a heatwave with triple digits! When they sent another technician after the entire system failed, he told me "no harm, no foul" since he was there now. Maybe it was for him, but it put my very senior animals in a medical emergency over a four-day weekend! They were so cavalier about their "missed diagnosis" and the effect it had on my household. Round two it came out to our house to survey our air condition. They sent a young guy named Jesus right away. He determine I need a new unit then he continue to try to sell the whole system while the warranty only covered for the parts since there was no big sale they decided to ghost us and not put the part in. They lied several times to our warranty and to myself left us without a AC working for over a month they technician Jesus came and disconnected some parts and left it as is. This place is horrible and their manager. Nick is a piece of shit and has no balls to return phone calls and do your job. The young girl that answers the phone is trained very well to lie. I'm not a sour person for not getting the work done. I'm grateful they didn't do the work. Do not hire these people. I totally recommend to find someone else pass on this company. My experience with Round Tuit Heating & Air was great. My WiFi thermostat wouldn't connect to the internet, after trying at least 50 times over several days, to no avail. When I called, Nick came out right away and worked to reset the entire system and was able to get it connected back to the WiFi. He was friendly and knowledgeable.
