Found this place via an online search. Friendly staff, dentist, and front desk. The wait is never long. They give you pricing upfront if you ask. I got 2 fillings done and I normally HATE the dentist....this was my best experience ever. I hate the sounds, and the smells, and time. The dentist here completed the most pain free and quickest yet high quality fillings I've ever had. I was shocked. I still don't like the dentist but it's much more manageable! It's really hard to find a good dentist, and I feel lucky to have found this place. This dentists and staff are all around amazing. It's also a super clean office. I've met with both dentists, and they both are knowledgeable and kind and take the time to really help you. I never feel rushed or just treated like a number. I recently had dental work done and it was quick, painless, and Dr. Mielo made me feel comfortable by explaining everything. His assistant Dana is super nice. I had a 6month appointment yesterday, the Dental hygenist Kaitlin was amazing! Gentle, listened to me and was a doll! I was seen by one of the new dentists there, Dr. Trinidad, she was very nice and thorough. I cannot wait for my next cleaning with Kaitlin January 2024! Friendly staff and accomodating. I followed Dr. Steele here from Kenilworth Dental. I've been seeing him for YEARS and even though I now live in Maryland, refuse to switch. Until he retires, I'll make the drive just to be comfortable. So, I'm a new patient to the group. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and the woman on the phone was super pleasant. Took the information that she needed and then let me know that she was going to mail me the new patient information so that I could take my time filling it out and just bring it with me on the day of my appointment. I received the paperwork the following week. They also have that text service (that you can obviously opt out of) to remind you of your appointment, as well as confirm your appointment. It was nice, especially with me living out of state, to have a confirmation and reminder that I needed to make arrangements accordingly for that day. I was half way into my drive and realized I'd forgotten the paperwork that I filled out. Oops! So I showed up early as to not mess up their schedule and fill everything back out. The staff was really, really nice. Super understand, pleasant, calm, and personable. It was so nice. The office was clean and neat, with no one raising their voice to be heard. It was actually relaxing. I sat around a bit and then was greeted by Janette (sp?) who took me into the back. She seemed very sweet, and genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person and not just my teeth as a patient. We made some nice conversation and she welcomed me to the clinic. She told me exactly what she was going to do- I was due to some xrays, obviously a cleaning, etc. They have a digital Xray "thing" (I know, super technical). Instead of the individual films being loaded into the device and then you biting down for them to take the Xray, it's just a little brick. It makes Xrays so much faster and they can see the result right away in case it needs to be redone. It was nice not having the edges of the film cut into the top of my mouth for once. Throughout the visit I felt like I really got to know some of the staff in a genuine way. I swear that my teeth have never been so clean. Last summer I finally had my wisdom teeth removed, so Janette was now able to clean the back of my last molar. Holy cow. It felt like my mouth had been through the deep clean cycle. Sooo nice. Dr. Steele was great as per usual. We got to catch up about the family, his and mine and I got a clean bill of health! I seriously recommend this group. Dr. Steele told me he would treat me like his brother, I need major work and as time passes it all gets worse. I've been calling for 3 months now to try to get an appointment with no luck. The lady Kathy at the front desk has been less than helpful. He sent me to an oral surgeon and a periodontal specialist, said he would talk with them finalize the plan and get me going..... that was in May, 3 weeks ago I called with a major pain and was told by Kathy that I should see the other dentist..... really not sure what happened or didn't but if you need major work I keep looking. Turns out if I had a brother like him I'd keep looking for someone to help me. read more

My family has been coming to this office for several years now and I must say that we have been given great service over the years! The staff are wonderful and the work done here is never short of amazing. They're also honest as well; I spoke with someone about getting porcelain veneers and instead they told me truthfully that I didn't need them since my teeth were already healthy and good looking. Any other place would have just taken my money and did the procedure, however Dr. Mielo gave me his honest opinion and saved me thousands of dollars! Instead of veneers he suggested I get my teeth whitened. Prices are reasonable and services are professional and great. Friendly, clean office, quality unrushed dental care. Been coming here since 2008 and the dental care I have received over the years is phenomenal. Very clean office and friendly staff! I have had to have massive dental work done over the years and was usually in an extraordinary amount of pain. If I had an emergency whether it be a late night visit so Dr Mielo and his staff can correct the problem or he's calling me in a prescription for antibiotics at 9pm at night from his home I've always been taken care of and have never been judged or felt uncomfortable for the condition of my teeth. The work he does when it comes to root canals and crowns is nothing short of amazing. I highly highly recommend this practice. Not only did I find the staff to be rude and the office filthy, the cleaning utensils he was going to use looked like they were not even cleaned. Dr. Mielo was recommended to me by a trusted friend who retired as his office manager. After working for him for years, she believed him to be compassionate and ethical, professional and skilled. I had recently moved to the area and went to an HMO dentist listed by my insurance provider. After a lifetime of near-perfect dental health, this HMO dentist recommended numerous invasive and expensive procedures involving drilling and scaling. Moreover, she wanted to replace a perfectly sound bridge. I paid to see Dr. Mielo for a second opinion, as he wasn't covered by my HMO, and it was money well-spent. He did a thorough dental examination and talked with me at length about the condition of my teeth. He assured me that I needed no procedure and that my bridge was sound. I've been a patient of Dr. Mielo's at Round Valley Dentistry for over 7 years, now, and consider myself extremely fortunate to have found him. His office is technologically state-of-the-art, immaculately clean and organized, and comfortable. He doesn't overbook, so patients never have to wait more than 5 minutes for their appointments, and he has plenty of time to thoroughly explain examination results. Moreover, Dr. Mielo is funny, confident, and personable.
