They don't have quality standards and then don't stand behind what they sell. This isn't Goodwill, so I did expect *some* level of quality and service. I purchased a fur coat that needed repair (it had 2 holes) - which was fine as I was going to have it remodeled anyway. When I brought it to the furrier, she informed me that there is nothing that can be done with it. The pelts are so dried out that they cannot be fixed. "It will continue to break apart, as the skins are so dried out. IT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD TO YOU". It's trash. The store knows enough to get their handbags checked and verified. But furs they just accept, and do not KNOW enough to check them out. It's a mistake to trust them. It seems they take whatever is brought in - no matter the condition. And they don't stand behind what they sell. Roundabout might pretend to be a boutique - but they don't KNOW what they are selling, and do not vouch for anything you buy there. I finally understood why the store is always empty when I walk by. It's the rude associates that drive people away! Jasmine is one of the rudest person I've ever met. She thinks she's super hip and cool so she judges what you buy in a rude way. I'll never shop here again solely base off of my experience with her. I also recommend going to the RealReal. Laurie, a PATHECICALLY unprofessional conseignment store manager, sells Banana Republic in the back while pretending to be a couture store in the front. Laurie hides behind this sad façade, ripping people off. She stole my stunning LOROPIANA women's shirt, I had bought for $2000.00 and today I was told they sold it for $60.00!!!! Don't bother coming here or to any of their branches. They scam and steal from clients and take advantage and bring dishonesty to a new low!! SHE MUST CLOSE. Read these reviews and stay away from this store!  I have been a customer for many years and have purchased high end expensive items.  Today, I went into the store to consign something that I had purchased a few weeks ago.  Jasmine, the person at the register, was beyond rude, obnoxious and condescending.  As I explained to her,  I was following the store  policy and did not want to return, but just wanted to consign.  Her attitude was disgraceful and every word the left her mouth was said in a condescending way. Furthermore, she told me in an extremely patronizing way that if the decision was made for the owner to take my items - which I purchased from that store - she would let me know.  Really?  Her attitude was disgraceful.  If it were my store, she would be fired on the spot. What does it take to be nice to people; especially a customer. My advice -- Go to the REAL REAL.  I have purchased, consigned and returned to them. Their customer service is extraordinary... why bother with this kind of behavior at Round About.  I will never set foot in that store again to purchase anything.  STAY AWAY there are so many better places to go with better customer service. read more

I've only been to this store once, because I take a train into Greenwich and when lunch time rolls around, making the trek all the way up seems like a marathon away .... but really??? I've had probably my second favorite consignment find ever there .... next to my Chanel denim dress, of course. New with tags --- Chloe collection olive wide leg, high waisted, pleated wool pants with over sized suspenders to boot.... and walked out the door with them for $180??? This is the kind of store that makes thrifting fun and totally worthwhile ... The help is more than gracious -- and the other customers running around grabbing finds definitely seemed like regulars ... says a lot about a store owner/sales person that knows their clients by first name .... really. :) Don't thrift enough to get to that level, but overall ..... Don't expect much when you receive your birthday $50 jewelry credit. Its a ploy to get you into the store because the discount can only be applied to their cheap costume jewelry found on a side rack. Do not consign with this business, they will lose your items and will never compensate you!!! Their bookkeeping is a mess. Nothing is automated and they will never give you any updates on your items. Will just give you the runaround. I consigned multiple items and it would take phone calls upon phone calls to get any updates. They lost a designer dress and it took three years to finally get an answer from them that they have no idea where it is. No apologies, no money. They have no process, no inventory management, no sane computerized system to manage their intake. A basic Excel spreadsheet can do the job. They still use carbon copies and don't keep track of anything. Completely irresponsible. read more

I really liked the layout of the store and the racks weren't jammed. The clothes and accessories are definitely high-end. I appreciated how meticulous the two women were when looking over my clothing, however, they should lose the attitude. These two were incredibly rude. I love this location! I have been to NYC and Westport but found this one to be the best. LOTS of fur right now and the prices are wonderful and I was lucky to stop on on a 20% off day-allowed me to do a little Christmas shopping and get some great things for people on my list that might not ordinarily get gifts like this. They have the Chanel, Hermes and shoe sections in separate areas in the back and I found a much coveted pair of Gucci almost flats in Great condition. Lots of handbags overall and the high end ones are priced at what you would find in the marketplace. Prices were great, makes me sad to think of all I have paid at retail all of these years-but they are discriminating with the quality of what they accept from their consignors and it is great that they have the brand new merch in both clothing and shoes. Also I thought the jewelry was better than what you usually see-real gold, Tiffany Perretti mesh earrings, Roberto Coin bracelets etc. I live in NYC and CT weekends and would def make the stop coming or going and would recommend anyone who is a shopper to take the train out from NYC with this as a destination as well as being able to shop on the Avenue in Greenwich. read more

The problem with this store is one arrogant and rude saleswoman. I overheard this saleswoman with a French accent boasting about how she was going to sell a $1200 dress. She kept going to the the customer and telling her how great / hot the dress looked and then laughed at the customer behind her back because her boobs were too small. Then she bragged to another employee about how much her commission was going to be. Later she had a long personal conversation and ignored me completely. I decided not to buy anything and left. Very tacky given the prices and location. read more
