Roundabout is a place where the food feels like home. Most often my wife and I come for the pastrami, or the Western cheeseburger. Both are top notch and deserve their own review. We compare all pastrami to The Hat. And Lordy if you want to save 45 mins driving (at LEAST) and have a great pastrami, look no further. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is comfortable and way more modern than you'd expect from the outside and the service is on par with a sit-down-dine-in place than a counter-order-style that it is. Highly recommend this eatery for all occasions. Oh and don't pass up their breakfast burrito. One of the best in the desert! read more

I saw a lot of advertisement for this restaurant on Facebook reels. So I thought I would try it as I'm driving through the area. It was a very good stop indeed. Brooklyn, The clerk cashier and waitress was very efficient, friendly and professional. I had the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy, eggs hashbrowns, and I ordered a side of pancakes. It was delicious and very reasonable in the price. The place has a drive-through and is very clean and roomy. I will definitely come back here again when I'm in the area. We were driving back from Southern California to Las Vegas, so I looked up good places to eat in Victorville. Roundabout Grill is a ways from the freeway but for us, that was part of the appeal. Their menu is extremely varied. The next time we stop there, I want to try the Mexican food because it looked phenomenal. (I was kind of jealous of what the table next to us had ordered when I saw it.) We both went for breakfast food this go round. The pancakes were fluffy and the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered steak and eggs. He said it was really good. The prices were also extremely reasonable and the service at the register was friendly with our food coming out quickly. We will stop here on our next road trip. read more

Reminds me of a higher scaled Denny's or IHOP. The food was really good. Some food lacked seasoning like the fried zucchini. The servers were very nice but at times forgetful of requests and some refills but no biggie. I will definitely come again with the family. read more

Easy compliment I can give to this place is the burger is better then Tom's and every burger around its area (minus In N Out). The restaurant is big nice and clean as well as open so you can see stuff like the pastrami being cut. Food felt aittle expensive for what I thought was gonna be just another Tom's clone. I was pleasantly surprised when I got my food the burger tasted good and the fries were fresh. So in retrospect the proce wasnt so bad. Best of all was there was a decent amount of people inside. I hope it has traction to stay around (which it should considering its next to medical buildings and a bank). Will go back and won't be going to Tom's any time soon. BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICH! I'm a huge pastrami fan and have tried multiple places in this high desert, Round about grill definitely takes the 1st place prize. The Pastrami meat was lean and full of flavor. Will definitely go back for it. My wife got the green chile chicken Enchiladas, they were also very flavorful but a little heavy on the salt, if there was a suggestion box I'd definitely leave a note. Little's less salt on Enchiladas would make them perfect. Needless to say we'll be back to try more of their foods, customer service is on point, and having mutiple options to choose from on the menu is always nice. But wanted to update my review since I have been back numerous times. I live out of the area but always visit Roundabout Café when I am in the area. The food is fresh and freshly prepared. The serving sizes are large, and the value is great. Now let me tell you about the customer service. It is top notch. Someone is always checking on you to make sure everything is ok, and you do not need anything else. Even if it's not the waitress that originally served you. You can order at the counter also but we always sit and order at the table. Drink refills are prompt and usually without asking and they even bring extra napkins without you having to ask. My Dad recently had the Chicken Wings with the Orange flavoring, and the owner (sorry forgot his name) asked my dad how they were. My Dad said he loved them, and that the Orange was his favorite. The owner said the was looking for the perfect orange flavoring, that he was not happy with that one. He suggested my dad try the Sweet Chili and brought him out a sample of the Sweet Chili and the Lemon Pepper. While everyone that works there is amazing, we got to know Isabel pretty good and love to see her also Mayna who is one of the owners waits tables and she is so nice. Support your local business owners. There is plenty of options to choose from at the Roundabout Grill. They also have a drive thru. I forgot to say there is plenty of seating, tables and booths. I have been here twice and the food has been pretty tasty for the most part! Their carne asada fries have nacho cheese but surprisingly it adds a really good flavor! Definitely different. Best pastrami by far! I say after "the Hat of course". Everything is good! Unfortunately, I did not like their cheese burger. The meat was pink (not well done), had a lot of onion and little sauce. I was bummed because that day I really wanted a good burger. But don't let this review stop you. That was just my burger experience. Everything is good, breakfast & lunch. Not gonna lie I looked at their menus online and I was worry about not finding something I like the menu doesn't look so appetizing however I am so glad I went with my gut to try it out. The food was amazing the staff was quick and friendly. I don't think there is anything in the menu we didn't LOVE the prastrami was delicious the zucchini fish and chips had the perfect crunch. Chris, His wife and family have knocked it out of the park. His employees love what they do, and you can tell.
