Most importantly, he has the skills and experience needed to reduce the credit card debt my boyfriend has to a manageable monthly amount and the overall total he will have to pay is less than any other debt organization was able to offer. He also showed us how my boyfriend's credit score will not go below a reasonable score as we go through this process and how he can quickly and easily build it back up to even higher than it is now. So my financial situation sucks. Bad financial decisions, family emergencies, lack of budgeting structure. Horrible service. Just awful! I have left numerous e-mails with Roundleaf about status on a collection account because the collection company continuously call me. Nobody ever got back to me about my inquiries. The collection company called me at work! If Roundleaf was supposedly negotiating with them for a lower balance, they should NOT be calling my cell phone much less my work place. I called Roundleaf to find out what is going on and then Lorena tells me "oh so they are willing to reduce your due balance for...." Ya'll couldn't have told me that weeks ago or whenever this event occurred?! Also, they scheduled an appointment for my husband and I to meet with Richard and e-mailed the confirmation date and time. Prior to July 25th 2012 I had reached a point of utter breaking point. In the prior year my husband had lost his job and things simply spun out of control from what we were used to. I was a prisoner to my cell phone ringing off the hook day and night with creditors calling me, creditors calling my job, to the point one even came to my house to serve me paper work- a scare tactic... I literally felt like a prisoner, this lead to disrupted thoughts of being able to vision the future, financial fights with the best man I had ever met, and anxiety through the roof. A friend of mine which whom I am forever in debt of care to gave me the Roundleaf contact of Richard and a previous business partner. I remember speaking with Lorena to book this appointment and she was pleasant and let me know everything I would need for the review of my documents. I came in to a very nice conference room, ready to simply burst in to tears, Henri at the time assured me "whatever it is, we can handle it". I was so emotional at this time simply looking to hear something positive and possibly take a breathe in of something fresh. I was offered a snack and a soda and I sat watching as my financial life was reviewed. I hear "this is nothing Tanika, really- we can take care of this!" you can imagine my thoughts were lacking confidence here... One thing, that did lift my spirit was I went in with a mess of papers, threats, letters, numbers and... Left empty handed as to pass of this in which had held me back from simply smiling on a regular basis. I would say in about 1 months time I did not receive another call, my phone was almost silenced.
