Spanish for "estate," or in this case farm, counter-style service and limited interior seating part of Finca's charm, Chef Aguirre's training includes the likes of Suzanne Goin and Thomas Keller while California's central coast yields a bounty of Fish, Meat and Produce. Offering Baja style quick-casual Mexican Food since May of 2021, Avocados from Morro Bay mashed into under-seasoned Guacamole with freshly made Chips, ownership focuses on local Wines and spirits across a menu of beverages including housemade Agua Fresca with flavors that change daily. Pricey for what it is, though ownership clearly cares about local businesses from Mary's Poutry to Octopus and Shrimp from independent California fishermen, guests can choose to sit indoors or on a porch out front while dining on wood-grilled Steak or a California-style Burrito filled with battered Shrimp. Attuned to the flavor profile of its target audience, namely the sort of people touring Paso Robles' wineries, those expecting spicy Mexican cuisine need to keep this in mind as Jalapenos largely come pickled while other Peppers are tempered by Cream, leaving dishes like the Duck al Pastor nearly too sweet.

Mushroom taco was pretty bland, lacked flavours. Shrimp taco was ok. But the potato taco was not good mainly because according to the menu we were expecting a taco shell (deep fried) with some potato cubes and cheese but instead the whole thing (even the fillings) was deep fried. It was extremely rich and had absolutely no flavors. Service was fast and good! The place is clean and really cute!

Five stars solely for the amazing customer service experience!…read more CUSTOMER SERVICE: It was my birthday and I was in Paso for the weekend staying at a hotel. Everything seemed to be closed early on a Sunday night, except for Tacos Valle! We were so hungry. I called around 10:45 pm and please forgive me, because I forgot the name of the wonderful person who did this amazing thing... When I called, I asked if they do delivery, but it's a food truck, so they don't. Who I spoke to offered to drive us our food personally! That was the nicest thing someone could do, especially that night! I placed the order stressing EXTRA CHEESE on everything. I'd pay. I gave the person who dropped the order off a very generous tip of 70%. I appreciated the amazing act of kindness! FOOD: We ordered an ASADA QUESADILLA, NACHOS WITH CHICKEN, TACOS AL PASTOR, and QUESABIRRIA TACOS with CONSOME. I have to be honest, because that's what a review is about. The food had great flavor, but was extremely salty in my opinion. Sadly, there was no consome included, the nachos came with "nacho cheese sauce" and chicken with chips that did not taste homemade, the quesabirria had almost no cheese, as well as the quesadilla. The last thing that was a bit odd, was they didn't have any guacamole or sour cream to purchase. I feel awful for saying anything negative about the food, however, it just was not enjoyable to us personally, mostly due to the extreme salt content. Maybe it was an off night! OVERALL: I am still giving a 5 star review, because the customer service was stellar! Above and beyond! For that, I would 100% recommend trying the food for yourself!

It was interesting that they put the onions and cilantro on the side--these are best right on the taco. It's a taco truck that rivals any from the SoCal area. The restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Paso Robles, making it an easy stop if you're exploring the area. We had reservations through OpenTable and arrived a little early. They seated us within a few minutes, and although outdoor seating was available, it was around 97°, so we were happy to wait for an indoor table. The inside has a really cool Spanish hacienda vibe with rustic wood beams, warm lighting, and plenty of unique décor to take in. It's a fun space with lots of character and is connected in the back to the tiki bar next door, making it easy to continue the evening with a drink. The atmosphere was lively without being overly loud, and we really enjoyed the classic '80s music playing softly in the background. The oysters were fresh and very good. My wife ordered the ceviche and enjoyed it. I had the hanger steak salad--it was decent, but I'd probably skip the beets next time and order something different. Overall, the food was good, but it didn't quite rise to the level of "great." Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, Fish Gaucho is worth a visit for its downtown location, unique Spanish-inspired atmosphere, and solid food. While there are probably stronger culinary options in Paso Robles, we'd happily come back to enjoy the ambiance, check out the connected tiki bar, and sample a few different menu items.

They gave us complimentary chips and green salsa to start with. That Green salsa is a bomb! I will visit this place again and again just for that sauce/salsa ! I had shrimp tacos. I love it when someone serves me basic food right! We also had grilled fish plate which came with beans, rice, grilled fish and salad. This fish was grilled perfectly but it was bit bland. The amazing salsa helped to add more flavour. Overall, lovely place ! Definitely visit again!

They have their own parking lot to the side so if you can't find parking, park there. We ordered take out and even with the 17 min drive back home, the tacos still tasted fresh. I can't imagine what it would be like if we dine in. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting PR! Well worth the visit
