If I can give zero stars I would.... I bought a vehicle and they told me that I would not have to pay for any oil changes for the life of the vehicle... I even asked "what's the catch" and they said none! So a year and a half later I go for my oil change and they advised me that I would have to pay $270 for recommended services before my oil change would be free! My car has 16,000 miles on it! What on earth would I need to replace so early! Tyler and Matt were my salesmen and they did not tell me at any point that I would have to pay anything to get my free oil change! Classic BAIT AND SWITCH stealership. Said they had the car I wanted at hard to believe price to lure me into the dealership. Did not show me the car or even the sticker until darkness set in. Kept me and my family waiting for over 5 hour to sign the paperwork, wearing us all down. Then came the "finance manager" - a bitch on wheels that pleaded stupid ignorance of the deal we already negotiated. Nearly walked out at that point. Another 30 minutes wasted, while they had to get "approval" from general manager. After I signed the delivery paperwork, my wife noticed that the car was missing the $2500 feature we negotiated over the phone. Luckily, we didn't take the car, but these crooks already processed my lease return and made it hard to turn in the lease at another dealer. I can't stress enough how angry I am at this dealership. I do not live close to them. They sent me a letter (see photo above) saying they could pay off my lease and get me a new one blah blah blah. Anyway, when I brought that letter in they were like no. It's actually not true. We can't do that. Route 33 Nissan - Deceptive advertising - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Hamilton Square, New Jersey

Doesn't honor AutoTrader price and low ball offers on trades. Avoid! Wasted my time trying to buy a used car with this dealership. They advertised a vehicle on AutoTrader at a certain price which is what I was willing to pay. After the test drive and then waiting around 20 minutes the salesperson brought back the deal of the advertised price +$1500 because I wasn't a repeat customer, +$1500 because I wasn't a recent college graduate, +$1500 in preparation and dealer fees. This was on a car that was advertised at $25,995 - they wanted to charge over $30,000. On the other part of the deal, I had a Nissan to trade in and figured they would give a fair offer since they are a Nissan dealership. Had a price from AutoTrader, KBB trade in value and CarMax that put the value at $19,000 on trade in. This dealer offered $14,000. So with the initial deal being off by $4500 high on the price and $5000 on the trade, I said that we were too far apart and asked for my key to my car back and wanted to leave. Told them I didn't want to do business with a dealer who didn't honor their advertised price or couldn't give me fair value on trade. They wouldn't give me my key back until I spoke to the sales manager, a gruff, mean man who told me my expectations were wrong and that they were offering a great deal. I told him again we were too far apart on the deal and I wanted my key back. He never presented a different offer on either side. Terrible, small time, old-fashioned car dealer games cost them a cash buyer with 811 credit rating and multiple car needs over the next two years. Went to CarMax the next day and got the same car for the advertised price and $19500 on the trade. Avoid route 33 Nissan at all costs. read more

I was shopping for the car I wanted for weeks and no luck. I saw the car I liked so I went to go check it out. It was on a Saturday and thy close at 8 on Saturdays but I walked in there around 7:45 and they treated me as if I was the first to arrive that day. My guy Joe helped me out and even though it took a couple of hours to finalize the deal. I didn't feel rushed. I told Joe what terms I wanted. If I could rate this no stars I would. Came in to see a car listed online on cars.com for $12,500. Excited about a great deal and in need for a car I drove over an hour there with my girlfriend. When we arrived at about 7:30pm we were "greeted" by a "salesperson". He asked if we were interested in anything specific. I said I was and showed him what car. Mind you this whole time he never once said his name to us nor did he give me any type of information on the car. We took it for a test drive and he sat quietly in the back while playing games/texting on his phone. I asked where I should drive to which I got no reply, asked where I could make a U turn, again no reply. We got back to the dealership and I said I wanted to check out the rest of the lot and he suggested we go inside first and talk numbers. Before we made it 5 feet from the car my girlfriend noticed the sticker price was almost $10,000 more than the price online. I asked this "salesperson" about it and he said he was going to confirm the online price and then talk to his manager. The idiot didn't realize that we could see him standing in another office, once again, on his phone. He walked over and gave me some nonsense about discounts and rebates. Basically pulled the old bait and switch and tried to tell me that unless I was in the military, in college, and a loyal Nissan owner then I didn't qualify for anything. This place is shady. I spoke to another salesman at another dealer close by and they said that this dealership IS KNOWN TO BE SHADY AND DO THIS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!! I was looking for something to lease for my son. I saw their ad on the internet and called them. I spoke to a lady and asked about their deals. It sounds a good deal and willing to trade in one of my cars. I looked at nada and kelly blue book for the price of my car and its between $3500-4000. I went to the dealership the next day and asked for the lady. She is not in that day and spoke with another sales guy. I own an auto repair shop for more than 10 years and been racing cars for a long time. I have been leasing cars for 15 years now and i know how it works. Right off the bat, this effing sales guy has been talking bs, he said "For you to get the internet price, you need $8,000 down." Who in the right mind would put up that kind of money for a leased car (Altima S)??? And the best thing he told me is, the car i want to trade in is worth $397. I felt insulted, i want to punch the guy. I have junked hundred of cars and junkyard pays me from $350-500 each car. Again, i have an idea of what my car is worth so i left the dealership. He asked smart questions and answered a lot of mine that enabled me to make the best selection on the perfect vehicle fit for me. I never felt pressured to take any of the many offers provided. They continue to ask questions that ensured that I was going to get the best car for the best price. I LOVED and appreciate so much the way that I was treated, that I keep in contact with my sales rep for any questions or concern that I may have with my new 2015 Nissan Rouge. It has only been 30 days since I purchased my Rouge but my son's car was totaled so we need a replacement car. Never ever take your car here. went for my free oil change it's the only place i take my car for oil Change the lady at the desk was mad because i declined there services she was very sarcastic and condescending. I had a appointment was told didn't matter still 2 hour wait. ok so i left came back was told my oil pan was leaking(which it was not when i brought it in) 2016 Sonata. was told i need a new oil pan$427. That the put a washer on it and that hopefully that would hold it 2 days later oil leaking in my drive way. ( not leaking when i took it there). Was told by service manger that the plug hole was warped. So out of curiosity i ask what cause that (at this time i'm still trusting and believing him) he said ware and tare ok now you losing me a hand full of oil changes this car only 4 years old. So i called Hyndia and consulted a Mechanic. Who both said it came from improper oil changes. So i called nissan back spoke to l Lindsey who represented her self a Service loyalty manger come to find out she is just a receptionist. Spoke to her 3 time and my daughter once my 3rd call Saturday stated she does different job on Saturday and and i should have a advisor i ask for name and number she stated she didn't know and would call me back it is now Monday no call i call and she is off. So Know its been a week and a day i can' drive my car. so right now i am highly pissed. Service manger Tony was useless because he the one who told the lie that it was warped. I recently started the process of looking for a new car. After some research, I went to Nissan to look at a 2017 Rouge. This was the worst experience I have had in a car dealership. I am a young female, and it seems that made the salesman and the owner/manager think that they could talk down to me, be condescending, and infer things about my credit and finances. The salesman was newer and had no idea what he was doing and kept walking away to "verify" with a higher up. That higher up eventually came over to me and started talking to me, explaining that I can't get a new car because I can't afford it (I gave no information regarding what I could and could not afford), and then began to pry about my finances. While I understand that this is needed so that they can give me a deal, there is no reason to demean or talk rudely to me to try and get that information. I went into Nissan simply wanting to test drive a 2017 Rouge, and was not even allowed to LOOK at one. I asked multiple times to test drive it/look at it, and they refused to show me and instead brought around a used one to drive. Not impressed at all. Spend your time and money elsewhere. read more

I cannot be clear enough about how horrible my experience was at this deceitful dealership. We went in to get my girlfriend a car after seeing one she liked advertised online. Upon arriving we sat with a salesperson who asked us the normal questions. We told him our price range and I showed him the ad. We also asked about a lease deal on a new car that was mentioned in that same advertisement. He took that over to the mysterious people in the back and returned to tell us it was a mistake on cars.com's part and no such deal existed (mind you, that offer was on every one of their online ads). I suggested they remove that from the ads, he gave me the "yeah, yeah" and when I checked a couple days later it was still there. We test drove the car that we wanted to see and my girlfriend liked it. I asked the salesman AGAIN if the price listed was accurate, he assured me it was. They then showed us some other cars in that same price range but none of them interested us. There were a couple other cars we wanted to look at that day, so after spending about two hours there we continued on. We didn't like anything we saw at other dealers and returned to Route 33 Nissan ready (and excited) to make a deal. They sat us down and showed us the number, magically, $2k had been added to the price. We were told that the online price included a "customer loyalty" rebate. Frustrated, I explained to him that this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the ad. We went back and forth and my anger continued to increase, even my girlfriend was getting worked up. He finally brought his manager over who was incredibly rude. I told him that they knew our price range and they even showed us OTHER cars in that range. We were told they assumed we were aware and implied that we should have known. The manager offered to meet me in the middle and cut the rebate in half, leaving the car ONLY $1000 more than listed. We promptly walk out. It's dealers and salespeople like this who give the car buying experience such a bad name. I hope you will read this and go somewhere, anywhere, else! read more

I'm not sure what the other negative reviews are about, but my purchase experience was easy and the Salesman Joe Zuccari was nothing but completely professional, honest and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions, and the deal I got was more than $2000 cheaper than other offers at rival dealerships (one in NJ and one in PA). Like so many other people here we got seduced in by the - supposed - great deal. We were promised a rebate of almost $6000 with a final purchase price of $8770 plus tax. This seemed too good to be true and we exchanged several phone calls and e-mails to double check and confirm the price and the rebate. They confirmed everything in writing, saying we were getting a military discount through USAA's car buying service. When we got there the promised car was suddenly $20,000 (when it had been less than $15,000 on line). This eliminated the rebate and then, to add insult to injury, after a bunch of hidden fees were suddenly added, we were left with a car that was priced at almost double the original quote. We declined politely and left. I cannot say this strongly enough. These people are 100% out to rip you off. Don't waste your time and gas money following up on their ads. If it was possible to give them no stars I would have. read more

Grimy salespeople who will lie to you and take your credit information and sign you up for a Nissan credit card (with 22 percent interest rates) and try to present it as a "shopping pass" for you to use for car repairs. My credit has been ruined by this dealership. The Sales Manager is rude and one of the General Managers suggested that I refer one or two customers a month to them to gain a referral fee to pay off the credit card that they signed me up for without my knowledge! They use tricky and deceitful language and will say anything to make a sale. Dishonest and unethical! I would tell everyone you know to stay far away from this place! I did oil change today. This has to be worst place for service. For 35$, they have not even put genuine Nissan motor oil which lasts for 5000 miles. The quality of oil is very low and they have put a sticker to change oil in another 2500 miles. I have changed oil and did servicing in Acme nissan , Windsor nissan etc. Compared to them this place has to be the worst. Even a third party garage shop will do better servicing than them. I had a great experience at Route 33 Nissan. I went in to get an oil change and have my drive belt checked. They were super nice and friendly and took me right in. Their waiting room was clean and comfortable so I was able to get some work done while I waited. Also, they offer coffee (which was pretty damn good) and bagels for you while you wait! I thought that was a nice touch. When I was done, they weren't able to hear the noise I had described from my drive belt, I guess my car wasn't cooperating. But they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They informed me that my brakes would probably need to be replaced soon, which is right in line with what my boyfriend mentioned to me a few days earlier (He is a service advisor himself for a different car company). Because of this, I honestly felt like I could really trust what they were telling me which is hard when you don't know a lot about cars. The individual who waited on me was Jerry and I noticed his award for 2017 Top Service Advisor when I was checking in. I know Jerry must have received this award for a good reason because he was so thorough and kind. Finally, they even gave my car a bath before handing me the keys back. Never really felt good leaving after buying there (obviously my fault for finalizing the deal against my better judgement but my wife loved the truck). Service dept has been awful for the first year. Run around with a part that was broken when we go the truck. First oil change was supposed to be free (wouldn't give more than one free even though every other dealer gives many - even lifetime) Just paid for the oil change that was supposed to be free and they overcharged by $7. They tried to refund it but I told them it was the last $7 they'll ever get from me. $37 oil change "estimate" became $44. I should've listened to others who have had bad experience. Hopefully at least one or two listen to me and avoids this dealership and service. ***update-I should've posted originally - CUE the generic comment from the dealer.
