Negative stars would be the most appropriate. I never write reviews but was compelled to once I got my money back from my credit card and couldn't be held hostage by these guys anymore. Please stay away from this organization. It took them over 8 months to replace my engine, and that was with CONSTANT hounding. I was told it would take 4-5 days to replace the engine when I dropped it off. Yes, I have text transcripts and phone logs with Ceder, as well as pictures of all of the damages described below. When I finally got my car I was just happy it ran and I could get it off the lot. Both my son and I knew the engine bay didn't look right, but I just wanted my car back. Fortunately, my credit card ended up refunding me my money for all of the damage Rowetech had done. Below is a partial list of issues that were discovered upon getting the car home: When I dropped the car off I told Ceder the coils, plugs, and other parts were brand new and to swap them over to the new engine. Ceder said he replaced the coils and plugs (and charged me) but could not provide a receipt for the "purchase" of new ones or any other parts. The cover over the coils was not attached with the original OEM bolts, and one bolt was missing. Exhaust leak at the catalytic converter and the nut was missing (snapped off), multiple hoses were not put back into the correct looms in the engine bay, and multiple clips and support brackets were not attached in the engine bay. The skid plate near the catalytic converter was not attached and just hanging loosely by two bolts. Almost no clips and undercarriage wiring were attached (just left loose or broken), and clips missing for the air shield around the right front wheel which led to it rubbing on my drive home and wearing a large hole through the air shield. Plastic nuts missing from left splash guard around the wheel. CV axle band not attached correctly (which led to all of the grease being spun out of the CV joint and a new axle had to be purchased and installed when I returned home). The windshield wiper covers were missing, and dirty handprints were all over the inside of the car, A-pillars, and sunroof. I can't imagine anyone taking a car to this place based on the number of greasy hand prints all over my interior. The COMPLETE air intake was missing and nowhere to be found. The exhaust bracket cross member was missing (This is part of what would have held the skid plate on near the catalytic converter. The two main bolts that hold on the front bumper were missing (there are only four that hold the front clip on and they only put two back in. The windshield washer fluid hose was not attached and laying in the side of the engine bay. Engine wiring harnesses were laying loose including one right next to the fan. The plastic clips were missing that attach the cover shield for the cowl. Screws and miscellaneous parts laying next to the radiator. Transmission was fluid leaking. The air cleaner breather box was not secured (in addition to the missing air intake mentioned above). The fuel rail pressure sensor connection point was broken and the wiring harness snapped off. The wiring harness that attaches to the front of the air cleaner was not attached and broken off. The steering rack was loose with the bolts over-torqued and stretched. Finally (although I'm sure there's a lot more I'm forgetting) the right-side engine mount is held to the frame with two flange bolts (M12 X 40 I believe). One of the bolts was an M8 that I just lifted out with my fingers. No threads were even engaged because it was completely undersized and they had just put it there to fill the hole. Unbelievable! It was uncanny how many OEM bolts were missing and the shop just used whatever they could find to make it work. It seriously looked like my car was used as an experiment for an 8th-grade shop class, except I'm sure those students would have shown some pride in their work and put things back where they belonged. As I said I never write reviews but hopefully and this will save someone from thinking they can save a few dollars and steer clear of this shop. read more

Took me a bit to write this hoping theyed give a damn and get back to how I meet them, nope, Completely ignored when I took my car in after a bad coolant u pipe on a 3.0 v6 2005 A4, they began, So good with people skills and a past timing job, which when they ignored me I took it elsewere and they told me the timing job was incomplete and missing new water pump gaskets, I even recommended people there and also did a bad job for transmission work and bent his side skirt body as also mine, still once in a blue I ask myself what happen, I believed in a long relationship for yrs to come and Nope, not me or the business man I recommended. read more

I've purchased ALL my parts for my Audi 2.7 from them. By far the cheapest place to get parts, also had the same car tuned by Ceder the car rips now, ceder is a tuning god! I've also had multiple repairs done by the shop and the techs there do awesome work in a timely manner. Always great communication from Ceder about what's going on and how long it's going to take. If you have any repair/tuning needs this is definitely the shop to go to. TONS on stage 3 s4's and various other cars are built out of this shop! read more

We needed our Audi codes read and didn't have a VAGCOM. Cedar came out and did a house call due to my car not running. I told Cedar I wouldn't pay and just needed a VAGCOM reader and he was still willing to come out and read the codes for free. After about an hour at my house, no codes came up and Cedar couldn't figure out the issue. Paid Cedar $100 even though he said he would come for free. Cedar said if we got the car to his shop he would be able to diagnose it within an hour. Dropped the car off on April 23rd. Gave him a 3 hour max to diagnose the car. Almost 3 weeks later; today May 11, he has nothing to report as to the problem with the car. Called and dropped in to the shop multiple times in between and Cedar said he had been looking at the car. With NO diagnoses and Cedar spending 45 minuets total on the car in a matter of almost 3 weeks he charged me $75 for NO diagnoses. Decided to take my car somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

After my first Audi I learned the importance of having a mechanic I trust. After being taken to the cleaners when just asking for a quote on a clutch, Rowe tech was there to save me. Fair pricing, quick turn around, and face to face time with the person working on your vehicle is something a normal shop just doesn't do. Essentially a Criminal Operation in my opinion. I was directed by the owner of a vehicle to pick up her vehicle when the putative owner of Rowe Tech ('Cedar') and his mechanic refused to release the vehicle EVEN WHEN PERSONALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY THE ACTUAL OWNER HERSELF! (Note: nothing was owed as they hadn't done any work which the owner 'Cedar' confirmed.) The next day, they performed unauthorized work - the owner authorized NO WORK PERIOD- on her vehicle and when I advised them to stop as the owner's agent, the mechanic assaulted me as I was walking out the door to make contact with law enforcement. Portland Police were called and a police report was made. [BTW: The Officer recommended I write this review.] The vehicle now has battery problems and other issues. I wrote Ceder about installing a Magnaflow on my 2000 Escalade to bring the volume down from the straight pipe setup. I gave him the dimensions I had to work with (based on another shop's assessment) and He quoted me nearly 50% of what the other shop did. Told him to go ahead and order it and let me know when I could get it done. He wrote a few days later saying it was in but wanted a picture of underneath the truck to make sure. The muffler he ordered was too big and didn't want to risk it. He went online looking for one that would work and when he couldn't he called his rep to find one. When he did, he offered to drive over an hour to get it so I could still keep my appt. I told him absolutely not, take your time and call me when it comes in. The next week I get a message that it's in, and slots me in that afternoon. I show up and asked if he'd also help me undo a couple stubbon bolts for the rear seat, which he quickly agreed to. Turns out the size of the pipe the other shop told me was WAY off and Cedar's employees (one of them was Matt) spent 2 hours using different size pipe pieces to create a custom size reduction adapter to make it work for me. He did what he said he would, for the price he said he'd do it for. All in all, I'm super happy with the result and he's also incredibly kind! Thanks again bro! read more

I've had plenty bad experiences with shops.1000's $ and sometimes waiting to a month to get my car back. but I felt good about this guy as soon as I got to Rowe tech. He dropped what he was doing and started it right away and was super informant on what he was doing. Like watching a doctor.
