A couple nights ago, I had stopped at a gas station to buy a drink. I was only 3 blocks from home and now my car would not start. Since i had AAA, i decided to just call and have them give me a tow home. AAA was busy and didn't have any trucks available in my area, so they sent a tech, named Manny from Rowlett Towing because he's great with batteries and the operator had confidence that Manny could help me. Manny was my lifesaver! Just from hearing the tiny noise that my car was making when i tried to start it, he knew that it was just a dead battery. He told me that he planned to give me a jump, but TOOK EXTRA MEASURES to run diagnostics on my car. He brought out a mini machine that would read the battery level, check my alternator and my starter as well. The machine confirmed what he already knew - i had a dead battery. After giving me a jump, he let it charge my battery for a little bit and checked all accessories in the car to make sure that everything was working: lights, air conditioner, power windows and stereo. We talked briefly about my current battery. The printout from the diagnostics showed that only my battery was bad. My alternator and starter were ok, so he helped me to confirm that it was time to get a new one the battery was already old). He suggested Autozone. I checked out AAA prices for battery service - Autozone won. Manny didn't have to go the extra mile. He was doing a service for AAA. He could have easily just jumped started my car and let me go on my way, but he used his head and got down to the real problem. I am very thankful. read more

Absolutely horrible company. The driver couldn't find me with clear instructions then arrived and was so rude. His name was Mike. This horrible man with a Napoleon complex. Pulled my car out my spot to begin the tow. Casually told me my engine was bad -- making panic (he is not a mechanic). When I told him to not discuss it with me I didn't want to be further stressed. He told me I could be stressed all I want but not stress him and he would gladly take leave my car. I was shocked and angered. Told him nevermind, I would call AAA for a different tow company, this he said fine. Left my car in the middle of the parking lot were "he" drove it, blocking cars and unable to start. Got into his truck and left me there. He thinks he so strong and tough. A real man. A good man. A decent man wouldn't behave that way. Never use them!!!! read more

This company is a piece of shit. They recruit people to work for them as trainees, they use them and then they refuse to pay them. When my husband asked for his paycheck as he was promised to get paid today, they said he they didnt know him, as soon as I told them who I was apparently they knew who my husband was. Now they want to pay him $200 just to get him away that's 15 hours worked.. my husband worked for them for over a week that is more than 15 hours. U ppl are disgusting!!! Karma will bite u in the ass. I will do whatever I can to let everyone know not to support this company of thieves. I have been in the area for 20 years...and this company has always been designated by AAA. I have never had questionable service, they have always been professional and the guys are pleasant. Well, I sent off my Porsche to the mechanic...picked it up and for whatever reason how it happened...the front spoiler was not on. I called to state the issue and the experience was accepted professionally. Worst experience with a tow personell. I got a flat tire and called AAA needing to have my car towed with a stop to my house made (along the way) so I can grab cash to have the car repaired the day of. Tow guy (Richard) arrives, attitude already sensed as soon as he exits the truck. I explained to him what I needed and he shortly said no. After I asked him why he said "we don't do that" I said well you can't help me then....he turns around again coldly and says well fine I was gonna fix your tire. It turned into an unnecessary back and forth when he could've proposed that option from the beginning...he then left. We waited over an hour for them to come out and say they couldn't tow us because his shift was over in a hour and they could come back in a hour when the new shift started! George was so nice and helpful! My husband and I have been AAA members for years -- and knew that our vehicle needed a jump. The first AAA rep that we called (NOT George) said that the battery was fine - and did not give us a print out of the battery test. A few days later, the car wouldn't start again - and thankfully we were paired with George. George took one look at it and noticed that the battery had not been installed securely - which is why it wasn't starting. This battery was installed by a AAA member. He tightened the battery, did a full test on the battery -- and totally fixed the problem. He had such a great attitude and was so kind to us. If I could give them a negative star, I would. The owner is shady, please be aware and document everything. After I was a hit and run victim, AAA sent these guys to tow my vehicle to the collision center. The tow driver said that if the center was closed he would take the vehicle to their yard and complete trip in morning, Ageed. I call triple A when I get home that evening to see where my vehicle ended up, they connect me Rowlett towing. I speak with the owner and he confirms my vehicle is there and to let my insurance know, which I found odd but I was in no mood talk, so I just thanked him for his time. Five minutes later he calls me back to tell me that my vehicle will be a total loss. I tell him that as I appreciate his opinion, but as he is not a collision center nor is he my insurance adjuster that I will let my insurance determine that. The owner just said that he wanted to let me know, I found this very odd, I've never had a tow truck yard go out of their way to tell me something like this, very unusual. Without going into to much detail, Rowlett stalled my insurance from picking up my vehicle to take out to the dealerships collision center, with surprise charges. Fast forward three weeks, I go to the Collison center to pick up my non totaled vehicle, completely repaired, as I drive away, I notice the front all weather dealership issued floor mats are missing. I go back to the Collison center, they assure me that this was the way the vehicle was recieved. The dealer showed me the pictures taken of the vehicle in the state it was recieved and sure enough, the mats were not in the vehicle. Rowlett stole them, allegedly. Now it made sense why the owner of Rowlett was calling it a total loss, it seems the intention was to turn my vehicle into a pick a part store. I've filed a theft report with AAA and will be filing a report with the better business bureau. Don't trust these guys, watch out, they are very shady. I would hate for anyone else to have to have this happen to them. read more

I would not recommend using their services to anyone, unless you want to be treated rudely! Richard was supposed to tow my car, but instead left it in the middle of the road and left because I did not have an id on me, he did not even bother to move the car back to where it was parked! So I was left in the middle of the road, very upset ( not to mention that I am pregnant )police came and It took me awhile to explain the situations to them. When I called the company , I spoke with Tango who was very rude and was yelling at me saying that I was a liar and Richard did not move the car. I have pictures where the car was originally parked before he moved it. So those uguys are bunch of liars. On June 10th our car broke down and we called AAA. They send this guy Richard who was great. Treated our car like it was a Rolls Royce. Told him we needed to get to the dealer before they closed and he knew the best route to take to avoid heavy traffic. Extremely safe, cautious driver. Most professional and just plain a pleasure to ride with. If your ever stuck on the road, call these folks. They will for sure take great care of you and your vehicle. read more

I called AAA to have my car towed because someone at the bar I was at a few nights ago took my key. I need my car towed to the nearest dealership to get a new fob programmed ($330 plus tax). So, I'm waiting for the tow truck and I get a call asking for details about the car. They go on to tell me they can't tow my car without a key, "you can't tow a car without a key because the car needs to be put into neutral." We argue back & forth, I say, explain how an illegally parked car gets towed. He says, it can be done, but your car will be damaged. I exploded! - I asked for the name of the towing company, which he didn't want to give me at first and upon my insistence he relented but try to obscure the name by saying it really fast, then mumbled, and then I either couldn't hear the beginning or he intentionally misspelled the name. I made it to my work place with the flat and they came out to my office, were there exactly when they said they would be, changed the tire super fast, and were so nice and friendly. And the whole thing took 15 min. I've had good experiences with everyone I'd used through AAA, so it's par for the course. So i called these guys for a quote..... and 1) he gave me a very reasonable quote and 2) the guy took the time to ask me what was wrong. Long story short, I put in a new battery and my engine kept dying ( wasn't idling ). The guy over the phone told me that for toyotas, I needed to reset my engine and OMG, he was absolutely correct! I've had a crappy day and this was just the cherry on top.... so for this guy to take a second and ask what was wrong and to actually help me.... i'm in tears from just pure gratitude. This was the worst towing experience I have ever seen. I spoke with AAA to get a tow truck for my car. When they FINALLY arrived( after a long time) the drive sounded rude, when I said I'm getting ready to head out since it was last second notice of the driver's arrival, he hung up on me. When I went outside to meet him, he was no where to be found. I called their office to see where the driver is since the number he called me on was the office number, the guy on the phone said he is outside, I had to drive around the building to find him. When we finally found him, we were right next to his car and tried to wave him down so we can go by the car that needed to be towed. The driver ignored us and continued to talk on his phone. When I called their office to see what was going on, he said the driver has decided to leave. Like what??? The guy on the phone replied with we don't need this he doesn't need to come back if he doesn't want to (not said verbatim). WORST TOW SERVICE EVER!!! If there was a rating on the negative scale they would be past the negative range of bad service, in my opinion. read more

EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful driver as well as the owner. I requested a dispatch through AAA explained the condition of the vehicle the driver said the only way they would tow is for a fee, because the car was non-opp and this was NOT an emergency roadside. He then said I don't understand what you don't don't understand, while trying to explain to FAISAL what I don't understand he proceeded to get back in his truck to take off while I'm in the street talking to get his information.
