Best meal in a foodie town with food motivated plans. I showed up and was pleasantly surprised by a robust gluten free menu. The tamale was sublime, lamb tartare rich like wine, and the duck dishes were unique. Great drink menu as well. Great food and high class without being pretentious.

Enjoyable meal in a cozy space, with good service. We sat at a high-top table near the bar which was initially a little loud, but calmed down once everyone had food. My dining companion also had the lamb burger, his with chips, which were also very good and came with two dipping sauces - one aioli and one tomato-based (not pictured).

if you like a good dish with a twist, i guarantee you can find something that fits your palate. there are so many innovated flavors. chicken pate is a must have, it's very unique to pair with the cherry, raw peas and apple. that I would never thought of to spread on the pate. the duck fat fries didnt stand out but the polenta fries are very unique with the sauce. on the special menu they had the lamb ribs as appetizer, but the portion is enough for main course. the sauce is a boom with honey, curry and balsamic. Main course duck breast is very juicy. one let down is the pad thai, i'm not sure that's pad thai no matter it's a twist or not, it's way too sweet. they have different types of Negroni on the menu, my favorite is the NM nigroni a bit bitter and not too sweet. the restaurant is nothing fancy, inside a traditional adobe house with expose wooden beams. service was great, our waiter is very attentive.

I came here to say for a birthday dinner celebration. I made reservations through open table app, it was easy you just have to book reservations with a card to hold your reservation. Upon arrival I thought parking would be an issue but super easy the had a nice size parking lot, street parking is also available if it's full. The ambiance is incredible and the service was too notch. Our server was so nice so explained the special for that night and was really knowledgeable about food options and what we wanted. We started with the Duck Fat French Fries and that's a must. Everyone in the restaurant was ordering them for an appetizer and we also order Honey, Yellow Curry & Whole Grain Mustard Glazed Lamb Ribs which was incredible and finger licking good lol. Then we order the Duck Confit Pad Thai which was out of this world and must try which is their best dish. Doe dessert we order the cloud cake. Wine options are great and you will have someone coming around to explain the wine . Overall this place was incredible. And can't wait to return back. Excellent place for date night, family dinner or hanging out with friends.

I HIGHLY recommend checking out Joseph's Culinary Pub. The food was absolutely FANTASTIC and like 99.9% of the menu is (or can be made) gluten free. And the ENTIRE dessert menu is gluten free! FAB-U-LOUS! They get booked up everyday so reserve ahead! Pictured is the duck pad thai and butterscotch pudding. Both were fantastic. Not pictured is the chicken posole which was AMAZING! The staff is all so friendly and it's such a cozy, hip place!

The food and service was great! The decor is interesting with many copper vessels of all kinds. Sat at the bar for dinner with great service from barkeep.

This place is a must try for foodies. While my server didn't provide the level of wam hospitality that I'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber, he was quite attentive through my meal. I would be remiss if I did not say that the busboy and busgirl bringing out my plates were superb and much friendlier than the server. Their famous duck fat fries were spot on loved my lamb lollipop, too. The rabbit bolognese lasagna, not so much: I guess I didn't care too much for the texture and taste of it. Negroni cocktail was spot on and Cloud Cake, their Italian meringue cake, has to rank as not only the best dessert I had in Santa Fe, but the best dessert of 2024 period.

Butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce and sea salt. Not to be missed.

We were planning a trip to Santa Fe from FL and researched top rated foodie spots. Joseph's Culinary Pub had a menu "soaked in duck fat". Our table of four was warmly and enthusiastically greeted by our knowledgeable server. Complimentary house potato chips were lightly seasoned in lime salt and served with a small pinch pot of artisan olives. We started with duck fat French fries served with sides of garlic aioli and homemade curried ketchup ($11). The serving was small but flavorful thanks to the subtle duck fat. We also added a plate of duck fat fried polenta logs lying in Gorgonzola dolce and a side of crispy grilled radicchio ($18). They were very good- crisp on the outside and moist inside. Not my favorite but very shareable. For another shared course, the warm grilled ratatouille featured kale, fennel, roasted red peppers, ricotta, eggplant, zucchini and a tomato vinaigrette ($18). Delicious! A table favorite. Two guests had the duck confit pad Thai ($29), moist and tender duck, glazed in hoisin sauce with rice noodles, peanuts, cilantro and charred cabbage. Mild heat. A nice combination of flavors. My entree of spicy beef tenderloin stew ($19) was a bowl of tender beef chunks, potato cubes, spices and onions. The chef's decision to base the stew in a runny gravy was a departure from a thicker stock. Perhaps a serving of bread pieces would have helped soak up the flavors. Another guest expressed disappointment with the Crispy Chicken Breast 'Under a Brick' ($36). Surrounded by a bed of crisp bacon, red onion, fava beans roasted corn and roasted red pepper coulis, the breast was dry. The medley of accompanying ingredients balanced the disappointment. Of the four desserts we shared- orange blossom scented tres leches cake, lemon tart, warm chocolate cake with chantilly cream and butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce- the pudding was on top, followed closely by the tarte. In all, the dining experience was very enjoyable. The place is small but the chef and staff work to give their guests a memorable time. Reservations are recommended.

I truly think Joseph's is incapable of making a bad dish. My photos are not pretty but the hamachi and kale starter? So buttery and delicious. Duck fat fries were crisp and fresh. And the orange blossom tree leches cake was divine. Don't forget my cocktail. More, please.

There's this scrappier, slightly rough-around-the-edges feel compared to the newer installations, and I think that's part of its charm. We actually went out of our way to visit New Mexico just for this, which says a lot - and I'll say it was worth it. However it did leave wishing for a bit more, especially knowing how expansive and polished the newer Meow Wolf locations have become. But in a weird way, it made me appreciate the evolution of the experience even more. You can really see how much the artists and teams have grown across locations, and how much love and intention is going into what they're building now. I always love seeing art, interpreting meanings, and putting the storylines together. Overall, this place is very well done and I enjoyed my visit. Thank you! My only complaint was that tickets online seemed priced different than tickets in person and seemed to change price depending on the day/time. We came about 3 hours prior to closing and this was more than enough time for us to fully enjoy the place and see everything. They do have a bar out front to the side before you enter as well and a gift shop. I have attended their other location in Las Vegas, so it was fun to compare it to this location and see how different they are all around. This location definitely is smaller in size and very different in theme, but still cool to see.

The venue has a magic you can't create other places and is more cost-controllable than a hotel! I truly appreciated how Pilar and Karen answered every question, asked some we hadn't thought about, and made all of our other wedding vendors' jobs easier! The venue can work indoors (with a smaller guest list) and outdoors. It naturally separates space for the service, the meal, and dancing. There is a designated bar area and protected place for the DJ equipment. Our party guests ranged from 18 to 80 and everyone found a comfortable place to enjoy the event. We didn't need exceptional or elaborate decoration to have a beautiful event. The venue and grounds are gorgeous with just enough space for an intimate event, and lots of nooks and crannies for great photos. We originally planned our reception at another location that fell through (blessing in disguise) and we booked with Pilar at Neptune, sight unseen as we're from out of state. Throughout the process Pilar was amazing and helped set our mind at ease as we worked to plan things out, even directly coordinating with our caterer to make sure everything was just right, opening up the day before so we could see it in person before the big day, and putting our last decorations in place while we got ready.
