Amazing meal at @arroyovino last night. The 2016 Pagodes de Cos and Duck Confit together was mind blowing Everyone loved their meal. The Cabbage appetizer was especially delicious. Beautiful space, great wine shop as well. Professional yet friendly service. Can't wait for my next visit.

Fantastic fine dining restaurant with amazing views, music and flowers everywhere. The service is impeccable and informative. The cuisine is worthy of a James Beard Award... someone please tell them ;) This restaurant is a must if you're celebrating a special moment in Santa Fe!

This was our anniversary dinner for our trip. We planned it a few weeks in advance. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but I was wrong. Jonathan, our waiter, and the staff was on their A game and I doubt they are ever off of it. Beyond the service the food was incredible. Every course complimented the next and stood on its own. If you are in Santa Fe and are a food and dining experience lover you have to come here. Thank you Arroyo Vino staff. Shout out to Jonathan (spelling?). A magical evening.

We were tipped off to this great restaurant/wine shop by a sommelier at a restaurant in a different city. It was a great referral, as the food is superb. The grilled artichoke made a nice starter, and the house-made chicken liver was wonderful. We also really enjoyed the spring salad. The chicken had a great coating of Indian spices, and the halibut also offered a nice medley of flavors. Of course, being attached to a wine shop, there are lots of nice selections on the wine list, although we would have liked to have been able to browse in the shop and then take a bottle into the restaurant. Wine prices aren't exactly bargains, but it is a ritzy part of Santa Fe.

Salted caramels as a birthday treat. They were incredible!

Arroyo Vino is a short drive from Santa Fe and it is worth the trip! They do close early, so be sure to make an early reservation via the OpenTable app. The parking lot is a little rustic, so if it is snowy, icy or rainy, leave your Jimmy Choos at home. We were seated immediately by our waiter, who delivered my French 75 and my companion's iced tea very promptly. We ordered the house made straciatelli and the chicken fried quail. G's mind was blown by the quail and the straciatelli was served with a heavenly soft focaccia with the most delicate char that was a perfect taste comparison with the cheese. Wow! If I could add star eyes that would be + 2. For our entrees, we ordered the porcini rubbed heritage pork chop and the cider braised Piedmontese short rib. G said it was the best pork chop he had ever eaten IN HIS LIFE. + 1! And the short rib was very moist and tender. I would have preferred it to be a warmer temperature. However, I understand the chef has a specific experience in mind. We were stuffed after 2 appetizers and two entrees so we passed on the dessert. Even though we passed on the dessert we got a special treat to celebrate my birthday, salted caramels. Thank you, chef! The service was just outstanding and not stuffy. + 2!

Fantastic meal! Nice atmosphere, great service, beautifully prepared and presented dishes, lots of menu options with an expansive wine list. Pan Roasted Scallops w/curried cauliflower puree, peas & nut dukkah was tender and delicious with a nice blend of spice & nut flavors. Grilled Artichoke pesto aioli was quite good, but the star of the meal was Pan Roasted Cauliflower, with quinoa, dates, carrots, saffron cauliflower purée, and pistachio/sesame dukkah. Tastes as great as it looks. Vanilla Panna Cotta was a perfect ender. Will definitely visit again when we're in Santa Fe.

WOW. Wine here is AWESOMENESS!…read more Yelp friends ... Armando Rosales is the friendliest bartender I've met in a long while He's from Espanola so he's super down to Earth ! (Future manager I think) He let me sample some great wines 1) Signature Canyon Five ~ fruity. Unique 2) Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon ~ AMAZING ! I ordered number 2 to pair with my (incredible) FRENCH ONION SOUP If you have that on your menu I have to try it but this was truly exceptional ! Following that I had the New York Strip. Medium rare. GREAT but I did ask for a side of Green Chile. And Garlic Aioli for the potatoes Nicely cooked but I added some salt and chile to make it pop my taste buds. YES. I would order it again the same way The Pork Chop looked great as well Desert was also very good. Truffles and Port wine ...I love Port wine (Spicy chocolate truffles with lovely RED CHILE in them) I think I'd give these guys 6 stars of if I could because Armando was so cool toward me !

We ordered flights of white and none of them were cold enough. I understand if they had been reds, but on a hot summer day, one just craves a cold glass of wine and/or bubbly. Once we were done tasting our wines and the food arrived, we had to ask a couple of times/people to remove the large glasses and apparatus they rested in from our table since there wasn't room for everything. The hummus and pita with hot honey and feta was pretty good, and our son loved his pasta dish from the kids menu, but that was the extent of the magic here. The paninis the rest of our party ordered were again, just ok. When I went to the restroom I was appalled. There was some really gross stuff sticking to the wall next to the toilet; I couldn't tell if it was barf or poop, but it really turned me off. Good thing we were already on our way out. The atmosphere is kind of a New Orleans vibe with a high ceiling and covered terrace upstairs with plants that you can see from the downstairs area. That was nice. The day before when I was walking around the Plaza, they had a big carafe of fruit-infused ice water outside the restaurant with plastic cups for people to help themselves to, and it was super refreshing. That was the best thing about this place.

The first time we came, we had a delicious cheese & charcuterie plate with all the fixins, including a spicy jam I asked to take to-go when we were done. Evan thoughtfully topped it off and put it in a small container. Wines were delicious--the hubs and I each ordered a flight, he a "refreshing whites" flight and I a mix n match situation (also whites, but with bubbly selections as well). The grandparents got their drinks by the glass and the kiddo was happy to have water and snacks. The ambiance is cool, both literally and figuratively....it was so pleasant to come in from the summer heat into this stylish and AC'd spot featuring local artists' work on the walls, and the hand soap in the bathroom also felt artisan and special. Individual hand towels to dry off hands after washing as well. The second time we came in it was just my husband and myself, and Evan gave us the royal treatment once again. There were other patrons and he graced every party with the same attentiveness and expertise. We each ordered a flight, and when Evan was knowledgeably explaining the wines we selected, it made me crave and decide to ask for a glass of bubbly. He went above and beyond to bring us a sampling of bubbles on the house! What?! Definitely will be back if we are ever in the area again and we highly recommend this place. Thank you, Evan, and Vara tasting room!

I started with what I thought was going to be a plain Caesar salad, but when it arrived, it was served like a sushi or lettuce wrap. It was very creative and tasty! It made it much more fun to eat than the average salad. It was rich and topped with anchovies, like a true Caesar salad. I then had the peppercorn Elk tenderloin. I asked it be served as the chef recommended, which is medium rare. I am sometimes wary of medium rare, but this tenderloin was DIVINE! It was so moist and bursting with flavor. I loved it. The cocktails were creative and just as enjoyable as the meal. Other options for dinner apps include: cornbread, ahi crudo, mussels, and bison carpaccio. Mains: scallops, pan roasted Branzino, toasted masa gnocchi, grilled Maine lobster tails, duck leg confit, and a pecan coffee rubbed prime flat iron. I'm sure all of them would be amazing. Reservations recommended. Please note that the rooftop bar does not take reservations and is not on the same system as the restaurant. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

My husband ordered the Guajillo Braised Boneless Short Ribs, which were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
