I was in need of replacing my broken glass patio sliding door. I called many different places and they all gave me super high prices. Everyone was giving me 400 to up to 800. I gave them a call and not only were they polite and friendly but they were at my place taking measurements in about an hour. They are charging me 295 for everything. I am still waiting on them installing it but so far so good! So they came and they did a fantastic job. The worker was Miguel L. and his partner. Very humble and quick guys. They replaced my windshield. Overall, very pleased with their service and communication and I would use them again. A couple of inconveniences that knocked off a star. First of all, they were almost 2 hours late. Second, they brought the wrong windshield so we had to reschedule for the next day. It was not so easy dealing with this company. But, first I want to compliment Victor, the glass installer, who did a very professional job. He wore a mask, was prompt, polite, and efficient. Dealing with the office was difficult. I was promised a three to four day installation from the time of ordering. The fabricator made a mistake that resulted in the installation taking more than three weeks from the time I made a deposit. These things can happen but I would have liked more communication and less confusion from the office. The owner did offer me a discount so I can't complain too much. read more

Roxy Glass was excellent to work with. We had a small hole in our double-paned Marvin bay window where a crack was expanding. We needed to have the bay window pane replaced. Roxy glass was responsive and sent out someone to do an estimate. Within a couple days, the reasonable estimate came back. They said they could get the pane quickly and explained the work to be done. We signed a service contact on Feb 11 and work was schedule for Feb 23, 2021. Victor and Junior were on time and got right to work. In just over an hour they had removed the broken glass and installed the new pane and caulked around the inside and outside of the pane. They were both professional and efficient. And they put up with all my questions about the work. I highly recommend Roxy Glass for any of your glass repair, replacement or installation needs. I was worried about the replacement since 1 company said it would take 10 weeks to get a new pane, 1 company said weren't sure how to do the removal, and 1 company quoted anywhere from $1000 to $3000 for the work. This morning, I was asked by Roxy Glass to take down my review. I would prefer to do an update. Following my 3/20/19 post, the next morning Jass from Roxy Glass contacted me to follow up on my Yelp review. She worked with me during the next few weeks to clarify what was charged on my credit card and what should be refunded. She apologized many times and called and emailed several times to confirm that the extra charges were credited back. I submitted a request via HomeAvisior and was contacted by Roxy withing minutes. They came out a few hours later to measure, then called early evening with a quote. I approved the quote and within one business day, they called again and said the glass was ready and they could install same day if the timing works for me. The installer showed up at the promised time, did the installs, cleaned the new windows, and left my home as it was before, but now with non-foggy windows. Pricing seemed reasonable as well. Very pleasant company to deal with. Had a shower door installed. They did a good job with installation, but top and bottom of door slightly warped. They said it had to do with the manufacturing process and reordering might make things worse. Not that noticible so I opted to leave it as is. Jose and Miguel installers. Came back a couple of times for small adjustments. Price was best I found. Delivery time the quickest. I have in the past installed a few shower doors in the houses that I lived in so I know what it takes to do it correctly. However, I am now disabled and can't do it myself anymore so a couple of weeks ago I called Roxy Glass inc to install a shower door in my guest bathroom. Installers showed up when promised and were both very professional and did a great job installing the door. They were very careful when drilling into the walls and sealed it properly to make sure it did not leak. They also cleaned up after they were done and removed all of the debris. I had Roxy Glass do a sliding glass patio door repair. I had three estimates and Roxy was the highest. But, I was impressed with their pre ordering services. I felt that they were the only one out of the three who measured the door accurately and gave me a definitive estimate. Jass at their office was always very responsive. The installer Kyran was exceptionally competent and nice man. He came with the replacement glass. Everything fit well. He cleaned up everything and even lubricated the wheels on the sliding part of the door which was not a part of the repair. We ended up NOT hiring Roxy glass because the owner was so incredibly difficult. I called him about replacing a number of panes that had broken seals and moisture inside. He sent out someone to take measurements and count the number of window panes. He then sent me a very high quote, in my opinion, with absolutely no detail. The individual pane sizes and # of panes were not listed, so I couldn't even be sure if we had a complete and accurate count of everything that needed to be done. He assured me the work could be done within two weeks. Then when I said that I wanted to go forward but wasn't sure whether I wanted to do all of the work, he became nervous and said he needed to send a second(!) workman out to take measurements yet again because he didn't have confidence in the work of the first one. He had promised me that he could order the panes and get the work done within two weeks. After the second gentleman (who did know his stuff) came out, I called to determine which windows we were going to do and found out that the owner had left on a long weekend and couldn't be reached. His administrative person had told me that there was no way we could get the work done and the panes of glass ordered in time to complete the work within the original two week timeframe. Lastly, and probably most annoyingly, he refuses to provide detailed quotes. He only provides one lump sum number without breaking down any of the work so it is extremely difficult to determine if you only want to do some of the work rather than all of it and what it might cost. When asked to provide a more detailed quote, he refused because he didn't want to have his quote compared to any others! Sounds like someone is overpriced. And totally unprofessional. We are going to look for someone else. I wouldn't hire this guy if he were the only glass company on the Peninsula! read more

This company is terrific! I asked them to look at replacing a single window at an older home that was non-functional. We were worried about replacing the window because of complications in the older home. Instead they suggested rehabilitating the window which was a perfect solution. Ky and Robert, two expert installers came out, and ordered new rollers for the sliding door, replaced the handle and screen. It works great! And for a fraction of the cost of replacement. It is wonderful to see a company that can not only order and replace new windows (they all can do that) but also has the expertise to look for other solutions. Excellent workmanship is a dying art but Roxy maintains it. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. If you are considering this place, please think twice. I'm serious. I am highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and honesty from this company. I scheduled an appointment for service 1 week ahead of time. I'm thinking I am finally going to take care of the issue at my property. The day of my appointment arrives and I'm at the property on time. 1 hour of waiting and noone shows up, so I decide to check in just in case. The person who answers the phone tells me that the technician will be coming out but should be there at the 2 hour mark of the time range I was given. I was told if anything came up, they would call me. Great, no problem! I think to myself I'll continue waiting and being patient. I'm polite the entire time. Now I'm at the 2 hour mark and still no technician or follow up call like I was promised. So, I call again and this time Brian answers and tells me he is very sorry that they made mistake. They thought my appointment was on another day. I am very confused at this point because it was confirmed a million times in multiple occassions that I had an appointment between 4-6pm but now they realized they were wrong. I am still being nice and patient despite the ridiculousness and unacceptable excuse. When the heck were they planning on telling me. Mind you this entire time I'm waiting outside the property in 90 degree weather. Brian then tells me since it was a mistake they would give me 35% and have someone come out to measure my window the very next day. Annoyed by the situation, but still needing the job done, I agree. He quotes me a price that supposedly included the discount that was higher than I expected. When I point out that that seems like a high price I get an attitude telling me that that is a good price and that I should call around for other quotes. Tired of dealing with the issue and wanting it to be fix, I agree to just have him come and fix the issue. The next day comes around and guess who DOES NOT show...Roxy glass! Wow! Twice left me hanging. Completely unprofessional, unorganized, and dishonest. I ended up calling elsewhere and was quoted less than his supposey discounted price. I just dont understand shady business owners. It doesnt make sense. Yes, maybe the job you were going to do was not going to make you thousands of dollars but it could have if you made a lifetime customer. Needless to say, avoid this place like COVID-19. read more
